Friendly personality, easy-going, and willing to match any dogs energy levels. Any restrictions, such as food or physical, are able to be accommodated and discussed. Possibility of last-minute scheduling, but be mindful of possible conflicts. I would need to know if the dog has any history of violence or biting, as that is a key factor for me to plan. We knew our senior dog Ginger would likely be stressed: 1st from the trip, and 2nd to be left with a stranger, in an unfamiliar environment. Linda really seems to love the dogs, she had 1-2 fosters there when we arrived (not sure, as I think I only saw 1). While I'm sure it was hard on both of them, we do sincerely appreciate her taking on our dog for a few hours, so that we could attend the wedding of an old family friend. Safety, consistency, and love are my priorities, so your pet feels secure and cared for while you’re away. In my home, I introduce pets safely, separating them from my own during initial meetings. I provide a secure space for each pet and use mini fencing to ensure safety, even though my property is not fully fenced. I follow the same level of care and safety as I would in your home.
