About: Dogs have always been part of our life and are treated as a member of the family. When in our house the dogs are allowed on furniture and we will treat them as they were our dog. We welcome calls to check up on your animal while they are staying with us. We will give them plenty of attention and someone will be around in the house to make sure they are doing well. Since I have multiple days off a week I am able to work my schedule around the needs of your pets (babies!). I currently have three dogs, although, I have also owned and loved rabbits, hamsters, cats, ferrets, and fish. I am open to caring for any animal (expect spiders, sorry!!!) that you have. I can administer any medications needed. I currently have a fully blind hound dog with glaucoma that is also a diabetic requiring insulin injections along with oral medication and eye drops. Our beloved Bullmastiff, whom passed away in 2024 was epileptic and required 12 pills a day along with as needed rectal seizure meds so I am positive I can care for your special needs animals with just as much love and care when you are away. I have two elementary school aged children who can also assist with helping with your pets needs (if applicable & okay with owners) with my assistance to help learn responsibility, routines, a good work ethic, and be able to earn their own money and learn the hard work and value of a dollar. My kids have experience with feeding, walking, medication administration, and lots of play and snuggles. :) Please reach out if you have any questions! About: What sets me apart is my personal experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and life stages. I’ve raised and cared for five dogs throughout my life, including Labs, Golden Retrievers, Chihuahuas, and German Shepherds, so I understand the very different needs of small, medium, and large breeds. About: Dogs and cats love me. And I love them. I recently relocated from the West coast to East. have volunteered at Laguna Beach Animal Shelter in California the past nine years. There are many pets in my household ( one dog, 4 cats)). I thoroughly enjoy pet/home sitting and am grateful for your trust. I am flexible and can easily adjust my schedule accordingly. Overnights are my specialty. I have no pets or children of my own thereby emplyment is my only commitment. About: - Please note: On my property I have created a private fenced dog park and will pick u your fur baby, travel to my private dog park, spend a few hours having amazing fun and then travel back home, happy as can be and exhausted! - I have been a volunteer and foster of shelter animals as well as rescuing and providing a forever home for animals for many years. About: I cared for my dog Bear for 15 years until he passed last year. I have experience caring for senior dogs, giving medication, lifting and assisting walking. We don’t have a fenced in yard but we have 10 acres for the dogs to walk and play. Caring for dogs fits easily into my daily routine. We love being at home and to have a dog enjoy the outdoor space makes it even better! I treat pets I’m taking care of like they are my own. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and done training and dog walking in a shelter as a volunteer. I love getting dogs outside and letting them run around. I have been hiking with my dog for his entire life and was able to train him on the leash and off the leash to allow us to have the freedom to run free and the ability to get him on the leash and behave around other dogs and people on the road and on the trails.
