I've owned dogs my entire life of various breeds, ages and sizes and have experience as an animal care technician working with dogs and running play groups at a rescue. I've provided loving care for all, and currently own a senior small mixed breed dog named Barney whom I love and cherish deeply. I have owned him for 16 years. I have a fondness for senior dogs and those who need a little extra time and care are welcome. (My sweet angel unfortunately passed away in Februrary 2025 from age-related health issues. In memory of him, I will leave up his information and profile, as I can't bring myself to remove anything involving him.) My pet is monitored at all times when he is outside, as he is senior and small. I watch for birds of prey and other animals. When walking, I am scanning ahead for other dogs, animals, people, etc, so that I am prepared and can be in full control of the dog to keep me and him safe when passing or interacting with other things in the environment that may come along during the walk. I am able to do longer distance walking, as I am a fan of hiking. So if the dog needs a good hour-long walk or longer play-sessions, I have no issues providing that. Small note: I have gone by the name/nickname Ronan in the past, so one of my reviews has that reflected in it.
