About: I have walked and dog-sat for 7 years now with great reviews. Taken care of small 15 pound dogs to 80 pound dogs. Able to care with full attention and provide the best support. Flexible schedule, with willingness to negotiate certain times. Own 1 dog of my own, and have always had a dog in the house. I do not have any prejudice against specific dog breeds. Friendly personality, easy-going, and willing to match any dogs energy levels. Any restrictions, such as food or physical, are able to be accommodated and discussed. Possibility of last-minute scheduling, but be mindful of possible conflicts. I would need to know if the dog has any history of violence or biting, as that is a key factor for me to plan. I am a freelancer and have no major commitments that require my attention so I am able to fit pet sitting into my schedule very easily. I have experience with a variety of sizes, breeds, and age ranges. Beau and I love to go for long walks/hikes and his favorite thing to do when not playing is snuggle up with his cats (or his humans) I am a firm believer in Positive Reinforcement Training and would be happy to work on/reinforce basic obedience training with your dog (sit, stay, down, come, loose leash walking, etc) during my visit. About: Hi! My name is Kimberly, I am a full time registered nurse with a lot of flexibility in my schedule to assist you with your pets needs while you are away! Since I have multiple days off a week I am able to work my schedule around the needs of your pets (babies!). I currently have three dogs, although, I have also owned and loved rabbits, hamsters, cats, ferrets, and fish. I am open to caring for any animal (expect spiders, sorry!!!) that you have. I can administer any medications needed. I currently have a fully blind hound dog with glaucoma that is also a diabetic requiring insulin injections along with oral medication and eye drops. Our beloved Bullmastiff, whom passed away in 2024 was epileptic and required 12 pills a day along with as needed rectal seizure meds so I am positive I can care for your special needs animals with just as much love and care when you are away. I have two elementary school aged children who can also assist with helping with your pets needs (if applicable & okay with owners) with my assistance to help learn responsibility, routines, a good work ethic, and be able to earn their own money and learn the hard work and value of a dollar. About: What sets me apart is my personal experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and life stages. I’ve raised and cared for five dogs throughout my life, including Labs, Golden Retrievers, Chihuahuas, and German Shepherds, so I understand the very different needs of small, medium, and large breeds. I trained my own puppy from 8 weeks old, teaching her a wide range of tricks and good behaviors, which gave me a lot of patience and training skills.
