Please note that new clients for over night stays are required to have a meet and greet before booking to ensure safety for both myself and the client/dogs. I’m a hairstylist with a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide consistent care and attention for dogs. On the rare occasion when I have a fully booked day, I make arrangements to ensure their needs are met, whether that’s a mid-day potty break or extra attention when I’m home. I provide attentive, calm care in clients’ homes. I’m trustworthy, experienced, and dogs warm up to me quickly, ensuring their comfort and safety while you’re away.

About: Hi, I’m Caroline! I’ve always been the person who ends up sitting on the floor with the dog at any gathering so this felt like a natural fit. I’m attentive, communicative, and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs of all personalities: whether that means long walks, playtime, or just keeping them company and making them feel safe. You can expect thoughtful care, regular updates, and someone who genuinely enjoys being with your dog, not just “watching” them. I’m currently on a sabbatical from work so my days are very flexible! I have a small, older dog at home who gets along well with pretty much all other dogs. I approach pet care with a lot of attention, respect, and awareness, both for your dog and your space. In your home, I’m mindful of maintaining your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, since that’s what helps them feel most comfortable and secure. I follow all instructions carefully (feeding, walks, medications if needed), and I treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own. I’m very attentive on walks. I keep dogs leashed unless explicitly instructed otherwise, stay aware of surroundings, and prioritize their safety at all times. If I’m caring for your dog in my home, I provide a calm, clean, and low-stress environment where they can relax and feel at ease. I make sure they’re supervised, comfortable, and getting the right balance of activity and rest. Communication is a big priority for me. I’ll send regular updates and photos so you always know how your dog is doing.

About: I am a big time dog lover, with lots of experience under my belt. I have grown up with lots of dogs and continued my passion for animals by become a dog trainer. I have been a certified dog trainer for 6 years, I worked at a board and train facility, and the last 4 years I have trained service dogs for a nonprofit. I am certified through Animal Behavior College, Service Dog Coach, and the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers as a trainer and dog behaviorist. I only use positive reinforcement with my clients and their dogs. If you would prefer I use aversive equipment such as a prong, choke or shock collar, or aversive techniques I would prefer you find a different dog walker. If you are open to using positive equipment, I can give you more detailed information on equipment I recommend when I meet you and your dog. If you have any questions please reach out, I would love to help you and your four legged friend! I can be very flexible with my schedule. Please send requests early, and check my calendar for availability. My availability may be subject to change but if you are a recurring client I will work with you to find the best time that fits both of our schedules and needs. I treat and care for the dogs as if they were my own. I understand how unsettling it can be to put your dog in the hands of a stranger. So you will be getting lots of updates and if you have any concerns or questions please communicate them to me.
