Plus I didn't even have to worry about Gambit getting out the front door because she had a secure front yard gated entry. Definitely felt safe! Ricky also heeded my instruction on feeding Gambit since we made the switch to raw--and she informed me on how well he ate. Definitely booking again!”

“Kari and her family were great for our puppy! I was very nervous about leaving my puppy for the first time as she was only 12 weeks old. I got photo updates throughout the day that were very reassuring. The first day Kona got sick (just an upset stomach) and Kari was very concerned and helpful in making sure she had a recovery. About: I grew up around dogs and cats and have been an animal lover since birth. Pet sitter for family and friends for the last 5+ years. I am a special education teacher working full time about 10 minutes from home. I feed my own pets (cat and dog) morning and night and take the dog for a afternoon/nightly walk. I have a fenced yard and very friendly dog to keep company during the day. Very friendly indoor cat and the dog at night. Can crate dog if needed (up to medium dogs). Access to litter box in my home.

“In my experience the sign of a good caretaker is how they handle an emergency. Randi got 5 stars today. She saved my dog’s life and then went above and beyond for him. Milo and the other dogs are allowed to run around the pool while Randi watches them. Today Milo missed his footing and fell in. I adopted him last November and today I learned he can’t swim worth a darn. Randi acted quickly to pull him out of the pool and put a doggie life vest on him. She and her family then helped Milo with some swim lessons and taught him how to use the pool staircase. And then he got a nice bath. Randi texted me at work to update me on everything that transpired that afternoon, including a small injury to Milo’s nail after frantically trying to claw his way out of the pool during her rescue efforts. She sent me video of him running around and happy after the injury and even took the time to look up how to treat it when I arrived home with him because she knew work had me too busy all day to do it on my own. Milo truly enjoys his days at Randi’s house. He doesn’t even bother to look back at me when I drop him off. He just looks at the patio and the pool and is excited to be there. To have him be happy AND know he is so competently chaperoned is a huge relief to me. Finding caretakers like Randi is an incredibly rare occurrence and as much as I would like for Milo to continue having Randi mostly all to himself, I would be a horrible member of the dog owner community if I didn’t recommend her to you and doing her a disservice if I didn’t sing her praises for caring for my dog like he is her own.”

About: I have been working in a veterinary clinic for over a decade, and am able to give medications or care for special needs dogs if they need it. I will only provide availability for days that either my husband or I am home from work. We love dogs and are hoping to have a second dog over periodically to give our golden retriever a playmate. Dogs will stay in our house, but I have a fenced yard to frequently let them outside for potty breaks and play time as needed.

About: I am a huge animal lover! I was a licensed Veterinary Technician and truly miss working with animals. I also volunteered for The Rocky Mountain Great Dane Rescue, so no pup is too big or too small. I have a fully fenced backyard and a doggy door. I love taking dogs for walks and going to dog parks. I have two dogs (Australian Shepherd & Jack Russell Terrier) and one cat (Domestic Long Hair), who are very well socialized. I would love to meet and bond with your cat or dog.
