“Christie & Micheal took great of my grumpy old man, Rudy. He had a large yard to hang out in if he was in the mood. A dog friendly family and atmosphere. I felt at ease leaving my dog with them while we went sight seeing.”

About: Hi, I have grown up and taken care of dogs and many other animals , my entire life. My Mom and Dad had a lab who had 14 pups and I grew up with 2 of those puppies, Rowdy and TyTy. After Rowdy passed, at 14 years , we got the first of 2 Rottweilers, Cody Bear and then Brigadier, a 155 lb. teddy bear. Brig thought he was a lap dog, had to finally get him his own love seat! Now, I have my own family. Maya is our Rott. Mix and our first baby! She has been back and forth to Italy with us, on a road trip acoss the U.S. Everywhere we go she's with us. When we lived in Italy, we also had silkie chickens. I have owned rabbits , cats and one of my favorites was a ferret, D'artagnan. Our animals are our family.
About: My life is surrounded by animals, and that's the way I like it! I have been working with animals since I was 2 years old if not younger. I started out assisting in rehabilitating wildlife, which never left. I trained several dogs, from showmanship, to basic training, and even as a personal service dog. I have won several best of shows in showmanship. My daily routine is as follows: wake up, get coffee, wake birds up and let them out, let dogs out, feed cats, dogs, birds, make breakfast, hang out with the animals and wake up, eat lunch, clean house while incorporating working with the animals, bath time!, make social media content with the animals, start dinner with the animals, feed animals their foods, snack time, hang out with family, put everyone to bed, goodnight! I treat my animals better than I treat myself 😅 people/souls that can't help themselves, I've always had a place in my heart for, and I always do my best for them.
About: I have taken care of animals since I was 10. I have taken care of my two dogs, both a small dog and a large dog, by feeding, bathing, walking, and training them. I have additional experience taking care of a variety of other animals, such as chickens, pigs, and goats. I have a very flexible schedule and am available to work throughout the week and on weekends. I am available all day for pet care. I have a large yard for your dog(s) to play in and take walks, as well as crates if wanted for boarding. I am available to take your dog on daily walks. I also can do animal care for cats and other pets/farm animals.

About: Hi, my name is Jenn! I've grown up around animals my entire life. When I am not pet sitting, I foster both cats and dogs, which has given me experience working with senior pets, puppies, kittens, and animals that need extra patience and support. I believe pet care goes beyond basic needs. I take the time to ensure pets feel safe, mentally stimulated, and comfortable. Whether that means positive reinforcement training, enriching play, and giving them extra affection. I also love baking homemade healthy snacks for pets and enjoy learning new ways to ensure your pet is happy. For the next three months, my schedule is flexible. I am available to board pets during the weekdays and weekends. I can accommodate various schedules for people who are vacationing or need a dog walker. I strive to create a calm and fun environment for your pet. Currently, there are no children in my home which allows for a quieter more relaxed setting for pets who may need extra comfort or routine. In my home, I have plenty of space for your pet's needs. I have one dog and two cats that are friendly with other dogs and cats. However, I can also accommodate an additional room or a separate area for your pet. Simply share your preference, and I can accommodate it.

“Clarrisa was very patient with my furbaby Penny. She knew Penny was new to being left with someone other than family. I received updates of Penny throughout the day. Will definitely use Clarrisa again.”

“This was my first time leaving my dog with a pet sitter, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the beginning, Frank was kind, professional, and genuinely caring. Throughout the day, he kept me updated with adorable photos and little notes, which made me feel so at ease. It was clear my dog was happy, comfortable, and well taken care of. I’m so grateful to have found someone as trustworthy and passionate as Frank. I will definitely be reaching out again in the future. Highly recommend!”
“Lucky that we found Christina on shuch short notice to watch Lola for the day. We are traveling from Illinois and staying at Sierra Meadows to do some site seeing. We wanted to give Lola a break from the car. Christina responded to all of our messages very quickly and was great to work with. Would absolutely recommend and leave our pup with her again.”

“Jennifer and her husband were awesome! They walked my pup first thing, played ball with her, and she even had a swim with her kids! I’ve already rebooked for a future date and will continue to come back to her!”

“Lovely day care stay for Bubbles and Peanut. Lots of room to roam around and explore. Separate area setup and segregation possible for smaller and larger dogs. Would definitely recommend Michael’s dog services to friends and family.”
“Bob provided great daycare for our 8 month old Australian Shepard puppy Copper. Bob was flexible with our schedule- we were coming to Clovis area for a tournament and we really appreciated that. Super nice family and backyard. He has everything you need for a pup stay and when we went to drop Copper on the 2nd day- she pulled her leash all the way from the car to the door and couldn't wait to get inside! When your dog is excited to go back, you know it was a 5 star visit! We would 100% recommend Bob and use him again when we come to the area.”

“Krystle is a clearly an animal lover and also a very kind person. She showed us around during the drop off and was kind and communicated well when my pick up time was delayed. Thank you, Krystle!”

“I really enjoyed working with Iris & Robert. Iris was extremely communicative, flexible, and had a nice/clean environment for my puppy. I felt my puppy got a lot of attention and was treated like family. I could tell she was very excited to go to Iris' home in the morning and did not want to leave when I picked her up, which was a very good sign to me. I will definitely be returning for my next doggy daycare needs!”

“Karissa was absolutely amazing in taking care of Ketchum! He always looked forward to going to her house, and every time we pulled up, he got so excited. Karissa kept us updated with pictures and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind. She was also incredibly flexible with pickup and drop-off times, making everything so easy for us. She is phenomenal, and we highly recommend her”

As of August 2026, there are 236 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Hildreth. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Hildreth commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 236 sitters in Hildreth, 90% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
