Your pets deserve the best, and I am passionate about giving them the love and kindness they need. Caring for pets is a wonderful part of my daily life. I cherish the early mornings, the energy I bring to staying active, and the peaceful moments spent winding down with cuddles and playtime. It's these simple joys that fill my heart with compassion and connection. In my home, pets are treated like family lots of love, playtime, and a cozy space to relax. “This was my first time using Rover and I was very satisfied with my experience. Anna did an Awesome job with my dog James [2yr old pit-terrier/45lbs]! She interacted with him very well and he quickly felt comfortable around her. She was so loving and didn't mind his doggy kisses at all! Her scheduled drop in visits went as expected and she kept me updated throughout my trip. I will definitely book with her again in the future.. I'm glad she was a great match with my fur-baby! :)”

About: I have grown up with dogs of all breeds and sizes. At one point my family had five dogs at home. I currently have two dogs of my own so I know how much love, attention, and patience pets need. One of my dogs just turned 11 months and had her since 8 weeks of age so I’m fresh on puppy schedule and care. From playful puppies to older dogs who just want snuggles I am comfortable caring for them all. I will treat your pets like part of my own family and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well taken care of while you are away. During summer time I am free all the time so I can normally help whenever you need me! Starting September my schedule changes a little but I will have availability in the afternoon and all day during the weekends. I make sure pets feel safe and comfortable whether they are in my home or yours. I follow each pet parent’s instructions closely and pay attention to their routines. I provide plenty of love, gentle guidance, and a calm environment so pets feel secure and happy while in my care.
“Kate was amazing! As my first experience with Rover, Kate put this worried pet parent at ease. She answered messages promptly and offered lots of reassurance. Kate followed directions and followed up with specific updates and pictures for each visit. She went above and beyond for our fur babies, even leaving a precious memento! We will be booking again. Thank you!”

“First time using Rover so I was a little bit nervous but Donna was AMAZING!! She spent a ton of time with my sweet boy! She sent pictures, took him on a walk, and even taught him a new trick (I literally booked her to drop in twice). You could just tell how much she cared about his comfort and well being; for instance, our heat went out and when the temperature dropped she offered to drive an extra two hours to bring him a heater! We live super far away from her and yet she still took an extra trip to come meet all of us. I could not recommend her enough! She’s wonderful!!”

“I had to work late for 2 nights and I needed someone to drop in to let my dog out for a bit. Gianna was wonderful! She followed all my instructions I left for her. She played with my dog and even gave her cuddle time. Something my dog loves to do! She kept in touch with me by sending pictures of my dog during her visit. She even left me a cute drawing of my dog on my instruction page. I would definitely contact her again! Thank you!!!”

About: I like working with animals because they are so kind and have the best hearts. I've always loved animals. I have 2 cats but want a dog someday as well. I'm definitely both a dog person and a cat person. Being around animals brings me so much joy! I'm looking for a job that I can enjoy and truly look forward to during my free time. I have just recently graduated with a Master in Speech Pathology and I am working part time as a speech therapist. My love for animals makes this the perfect job for me! One thing you should know about me is that I was raised to be very respectful of one's home and space. This is very important to me to express as I apply for these positions. I want pet owners to feel assured that I will be mindful in their home and that I am grateful of their trust in me to take care of their fur baby/babies. I am currently only working on Mondays and Fridays. Every other day I have open to take care of your furry friends! I am open to overnights as well. I have 2 cats that I love with my whole heart. While I know that cat care and dog care are very different, the love that I would provide is the same. To me, it is important to give our pets the exercise, nutrition, and attention that they need.

Whether it’s a turtle that needs tank time, a parrot that loves to chat, or a pup who lives for belly rubs, I treat every pet like part of the family! I’m a college student with an open and flexible schedule, which means I have plenty of time to give your pets the love and attention they deserve! I’m available most weekdays, weekends, and holidays, and can easily adjust my hours to fit your pet’s routine. My home is spacious, cozy, and fully pet-friendly! I have plenty of toys, treats, bones, and comfy spots for pets to relax and play. While I don’t have a yard, I’m close to several beautiful dog parks and walking trails here in Clovis—perfect for daily walks and exercise. Pets in my care enjoy a safe, fun, and loving environment where they’re treated like part of the family.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
