“I wish I could give more than five stars! Kate did great with my cat Delores. My cat tends to be very shy, but warmed up to Kate quickly. It was nice touch to come home to a handwritten note and paw print art. Thanks, Kate!”

“It was great pleasure meeting Amanda. It was the first time using a cat sitter service and I was skeptical about it. I never left my cat alone for so long and I was very worried. It turned out Cuica fell in love with Mandy and I’m so happy and grateful. I know now that I can count on her to help me in case I need to travel. Thank you Mandy! ❤️”

I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I will treat your pets as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I work full time M-F 8-5pm. I can do evening drop ins/walks by 5:30pm. Weekends are typically very open. You can rely on me on weekdays 5:30-9:30pm and weekends fully available morning-evening. I provide care in a safe, calm and structured environment during walks and drop in visits. I am attentive to each pet’s routine and comfort level, and I make sure they feel secure while you’re away. I always follow owner instructions closely to ensure consistency and comfort for your pet.

“Stephanie is amazing! Our little, senior Yorkie loved her. She goes out of her way to give you peace of mind and did some unexpected little things we so appreciated. Trustworthy, responsible, kind and a real animal lover! Thanks so much, Stephanie!”

“Kaitlyn is seriously the best of the best! I always knew leaving the house that little puppy would always be taken care of. She gave us the best advice during the meet and greet, and now our puppy loves his crate! We are so grateful for her and will definitely be booking her again!”

“Faith was amazing with our two cats while we were away for two weeks. She sent amazing report cards explaining how each of them were doing, spent time playing with them, and loved that she took photos of Each food bowl and litter box for us. We will definitely be using her for all future needs!”

“Rita is the best! At our first Meet and Greet, Rita impressed me so much with her warmth and professionalism. My shy, skittish dog immediately warmed up to her, and I could tell from the Rover Card pictures that Dobbie was relaxed and happy with Rita. I feel so secure having Rita available so I can travel without worries. A+!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life. I grew up with dogs in my home and have been dog sitting for over 10 years, caring for pups of all sizes and personalities. I genuinely love animals and treat every dog like my own—making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I am a very active individual so I make sure they get lots of playtime and walks:) I work full time, 8–5, but I always come home during my lunch break for about an hour. I also take nightly walks. I’m available on weekends and am usually home. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. This includes feeding them on their regular schedule, providing fresh water, taking them on walks, and giving them plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions carefully to keep the pet’s routine consistent and stress-free. I also make sure to keep the home clean and provide updates as needed so owners feel reassured while they’re away.
About: I have always had a soft spot in my heart for dogs and caring for all animals. My family had a well loved dog I cared for growing up. As soon as I could get a dog of my own I adopted my sweet dachshund. She had health issues and I cared for her and spoiled her. I now have a five year old miniature dachshund who loves walks, playing with other small to medium size dogs, playing with any and all stuffed squeaky toys, and cuddling with his family all day every day. I’m always the number one pet sitter to friends and family. I have three kids who love playing with dogs. I can’t wait to care for your pets! I am a stay at home mom during the summer and work part time during the school year. Your fluffy pal will have lots of attention and love with me or my husband always nearby. New to Rover? Get $20 off your first stay with code: BRIANL40185 or use the following link: https://www.rover.com/sit/brianl40185 My sweet pup is one spoiled pooch. He enjoys going for walks, taking naps all around the house, sunbathing in the yard, playing with other dogs, and just living his best life. Your dog will be well cared for here! We truly love dogs and will treat your fur baby as our own! My home is a great fit for dogs who: *Enjoy an action packed family home environment where lots of play happens. *Like going for walks, playing in the backyard, or napping indoors. *Gets along well with other dogs and young children *Likes smaller, more homey setting with only a few dogs at a time.
“Megan is simply amazing!!! She took such lovely care of our pets (cat and dog) and worked around my needs. She was punctual, incredibly friendly, and very reliable. I cannot wait to book again with her. 10/10!! Book Megan for your check in needs.”
“Eric was absolutely amazing with our dogs, Cooper and Emma. From the beginning, communication was great and he kept us updated with photos and messages during every visit, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear he genuinely cared for them and treated them like his own, really spending time getting to know them and building a trusting relationship with them. He made sure they got outside time, attention and plenty of care. Both pups were happy and comfortable the entire time. We also really appreciated how dependable, kind and accommodating he was throughout the whole process. We came home to two very happy dogs and couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. We’ll absolutely be reaching out to Eric again in the future and highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to watch their pets!”

About: Dog lover here! 🐾 I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember and have a lot of experience volunteering at shelters, fostering, and rescuing dogs to find them loving homes. I’ve worked with all sizes, from small to large, and even senior dogs. While I don’t currently have a dog after my beloved pup passed over the rainbow bridge in May, my family and I are still healing. In the meantime, I’d love to temporarily fill our home with the joy and love of caring for your dog. Whether it’s one dog or more, I’m open to all kinds of pups. Even if your dog isn’t always friendly with other dogs, that’s no problem. I’m here to give them the care and attention they deserve! I’m home most of the day, except for running errands and taking my kids to and from school. If your pup enjoys car rides, they’re welcome to join us! The longest I’d be away from home is about 4-6 hours at most. Share your needs with me, and I’ll do my best to make it work! I have a good-sized fenced yard, and two 7-year-old children, so your dog will need to be kid-friendly. I’ll follow any rules you set for your pet to ensure they feel right at home.

About: I don’t remember a time in my life that I haven’t had a pet of some sorts. I’ve had cats, dogs, a bird, bunnies, reptiles, etc. You name it, I’ve probably had it. I love animals and if given the opportunity, I will love your pet like they’re my own. I currently have a full time job, however I am only in the office three days a week. Your pets needs will be my top priority and I like to really let them enjoy their walks, no rushing here! I have two very friendly dogs that can be placed in their room if needed. I do have a dog crate if you prefer your dog to be crated, however I do not crate my dogs.
“Brittaney has been exceptional with our sometimes tricky barky boy! She gained his trust so quickly and kept him entertained and secured over their check-ins. I would HIGHLY recommend her services. We’ll absolutely be planning to have her back next time cooper needs care.”

“My fur babies love Christie and she made friends with them immediately. Christie is very nice, easy to talk to and understands and follows directions as a pro. Christie was on time at. every drop in meeting. She played with the babies, fed them and diligently cleaned up afterwards. I would definitely have her take care of my fur babies again. Thank you Christie!”

Kate did a fantastic job checking in on our two dogs, especially considering it was a last-minute booking! She followed all of our instructions perfectly, sent great updates and pics at every check-in, and left us with very happy and satisfied pups upon our return!

Kara was absolutely amazing! She took such wonderful care of our girls while we were away and followed every instruction perfectly. She truly went above and beyond—not only did she make sure our cats were happy, loved, and well cared for, but she also took the time to feed the neighborhood "ferals" that we look after. One of the things we appreciated most was that she sent us plenty of pictures and videos throughout our trip. Seeing our girls happy, relaxed, and getting lots of attention gave us tremendous peace of mind and allowed us to truly enjoy our vacation. We came home to happy, content kitties, and it's obvious Kara genuinely loves animals and treats them as if they were her own. I wouldn't hesitate to book her again. 12/10—highly recommend Kara! Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our furry family! 🧡🐈

Kaitlyn is amazing! She takes such good care of my fur babies and sends wonderful pictures and updates. I am able to travel without worrying over my little loves being left at home because I know they are happy and comfortable! I swear my cat Raspy was disappointed when it was me at the door instead of Kaitlyn again 😂

Emely was a great fit for my fur-baby Daisy. We moved to a house with a pool and I was anxious during work for my dog. Emely dropped in for visits, sent several pictures of Daisy and played fetch with her. Emely was caring and I will definitely be using Emely in the future for visits and drop ins with Daisy.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
