“Jace was AMAZING. So wonderful with our Pitbull, and not at all intimidated by how big he is. Our boy is happy and healthy, and Jace was a big part of that. So wonderful. Would recommend Jace to anyone looking for someone to take care of their fur babies.”

I provide the best pet care experience though my years of work with pets I'm currently off of school for the summer and my availability is open most days. I have a flexible schedule and can fit in pet care into my routine I can't host in my own home, however, I am more than willing to keep your house safe by checking in on pets and make sure the house is safe.

About: I have a puppy and a cat of my own, I am well pretty experienced with both cats and dogs through any stages of life. I’ve also grown up with animals all around me :) I am after school program tutor so I have my mornings and anything after 6pm available since it’s only a part time position. I would love to add some playful time with your animals added into my week :) I will take care of your pets following the instructions I am given I know each dog/cat is different and follows a different routine so i don’t expect to do every thing the same for every animal :) your pet is in good hands, if anything i wont hesitate to communicate any concerns with their owners!

About: I have experience of 5 years as a cat owner and have been volunteering at the Fresno Animal shelter with dogs of all sizes for 2 years now. I have been trained to understand and report dog behavior. I work to provide enrichment for dogs through walks and yard play, while building bonds. Additionally I have done foster care with them for cats of all ages. I have experience in kennel, hallway, and outdoor cleaning of pets. As well as providing pets with their prescribed medications. I am a full time student but currently on summer break from June to August! I am available weekdays and Saturdays for drop in visits from 6am-10pm. I can house sit weekends and weekdays if needed. I am available for dog days walking as early as 6am and as late as 8pm. Due to Fresno weather I will not walk dogs between 10am-5pm! I will follow instructions given and ask any questions before being left alone with your baby. I strongly believe in communication between us to report any issues or follow up questions in a timely manner. I value punctuality, whether it’s providing medications on time or arriving from a walk. I will clean up after them and ensure their used areas are clean!
About: I’ve been surrounded by animals all my life and have always appreciated them. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, horses, chickens, fish, and even geckos! My pride and joy was my Chihuahua-Pomeranian mix, who thrived for 18 years until she passed of cancer in 2025. I have a young, long-hair cat, Mr. Macaroni, who is super crazy and keeps me from missing my sweet girl too much. I've always believed pets are important members of your family and deserve good care, which is what I'm sure I can provide for your family! I’m currently working part time and going to college full time, in which I usually have weekends off. Please feel free to request days or times that fit your schedule and I’ll be happy to wiggle my time as best I can to fit your pet’s needs! When I take care of any pet it’s important to me they always have access to water, are fed adequately, and I like to make sure they have plenty of potty breaks outside or a clean potty environment (like a litter box, stall, their cage, etc.). Please rest assured, if your pet is energetic or playful I’ll entertain them with toys, walks, or puzzles as well!
About: Since I was young, I’ve always had dogs and cats. I grew up as the neighborhood pet sitter and have always adored being around animals. Now, I’m a dog groomer and I spend my free time volunteering for the SPCA and Happy Trails. I’d love to meet your wonderful pets and assist you in taking care of them. I am currently working part time as a dog groomer, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! My schedule is generally 12p-4p on Tues-Fri and 8a-4p on Saturday. Otherwise, I’m free to pamper your pets! I am very patient and compassionate so I’m very willing to work with pets of all personality types. I love big dogs, shy dogs, and all bully breeds. I’m also calm and considerate for nervous kitties.
“Sara came early to the appointment to meet my animals and get to know them. She was kind, easy to work with and touch extra special loving care to my 20 year old grumpy cat! Snacks was happy to have the love, pets and attention and looked so much better after Sara cleaned up with pet wash wipes and brushed her out. She was gentle in handling her, and I will be using her again!!!”

“I can't thank Adrianna V. enough for the exceptional care she gave to my giant German Shepherd. She’s not the easiest dog to handle—she's both antisocial and can be aggressive at times—but [Dog Walker Adrianna V. handled her with such patience, love, and professionalism. She took the time to understand her needs and helped her feel comfortable, even on her more difficult days. It's rare to find someone who can manage such a large, strong dog with kindness while still maintaining control. She truly went above and beyond, and I feel so much better knowing my dog is in good hands with her. If you're looking for someone who can handle a big, challenging dog, look no further. Highly recommended!”
About: I've had animals in my life from the time I was 5. I've had 2 German Shepards, a Mini Aussie, and several cats. My cat, Cupcake, who I adopted as a baby in 2007, is still healthy and strong! I currently only have a part time job, so most of my days are open and flexible! I can check on and care for your pets morning, day, or night! I'll be sure to check that they've got water (or food if its feeding time!), clean up any messes or accidents, check the litterbox if needed, and make sure they get plenty of scratches and play time!
“We always travel with our babies, but our eldest is going to be 12 this year, so it’s becoming more difficult to bring her along. I was very hesitant to use Rover, but I sent a request to Tiffany and she responded immediately and eased my concerns and answered all my questions. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats so I wanted to make sure it wasn’t overwhelming. She set up a meet and greet a day before which was very thoughtful and although my dogs are very verbal they seemed relax after a while which was a great sign. Tiffany was punctual and followed all the instructions we left for her, so when we got back home from our day trip our babies seemed content. We are very grateful for Tiffany and highly recommend her for anyone looking for her to take care of their fur babies like we did.”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. I grew up with golden retrievers and I would help take care of family members dogs. I have experience with pugs and other breeds. I have experience with senior care and administering medication. I'm currently working full time on the weekdays but weekends are free for me to walk dogs, or do drop ins anytime on Saturdays and Sundays. My house is fenced in and I would make sure to keep your pet on a leash if I brought them to my house for safety.
“Amanda & Joshua are so great for drop in visits! They take lots of photos and give in depth updates for me and my pups are always in a good mood when I get home! Love having peace of mind that they are in good hands”
“She met the dog prior to the visit asked us great questions and was very helpful. I appreciated the consistent communication between us and providing updates when asked.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, from Chihuahuas to German Shepherds, and all ages, from puppies to seniors. I’ve rescued and house-trained dogs, and have watched family pets on weekends, making sure they’re fed, walked, and loved. I also volunteer with POMDR, a dog rescue that specializes in senior dogs, which has given me hands-on experience with dogs of all ages and personalities. I have my own Chihuahua, so I understand the care and attention every dog requires. I provide walks, drop-in visits, and loving care while leaving my own dog at home during services so your dog stays comfortable in their own environment. I’m also open to house sitting with the understanding that I may need brief time to check on my own dog at home. Please feel free to message me so we can see if I’m the right fit for you and your pet. You can also view photos on my profile of the many dogs and cats I’ve walked, sat, and worked with. I’m a college student with short midday classes, so I’m generally free in the mornings and evenings during the week, and fully available on Fridays and weekends. Feel free to text me for more details and special requests! I treat every pet as if they were my own and follow any rules or special requests given by the owner. I love cuddling and giving attention, but if a dog prefers to be left alone, I respect that. I keep pets on their regular routines as much as possible, including feeding what I’m instructed and making sure their environment stays safe and comfortable. When staying in the home, I respect the space and keep it tidy. During walks, dogs stay on leash unless the owner specifies dog park visits for dog-friendly pups. I’m mindful of other pets and people while walking, and I use any walking gear or shoes provided. I understand every dog has a unique personality, so I’m happy to follow any quirks or special instructions to ensure they feel happy and secure.
“Rita is the best! At our first Meet and Greet, Rita impressed me so much with her warmth and professionalism. My shy, skittish dog immediately warmed up to her, and I could tell from the Rover Card pictures that Dobbie was relaxed and happy with Rita. I feel so secure having Rita available so I can travel without worries. A+!”

About: I have been caring for animals since the age of 10, developing a deep understanding of pet behavior, needs, and well-being over the years. In addition to my extensive hands-on experience, my primary profession in international pet transportation has equipped me with a unique skill set that sets me apart from other sitters. Through my work, I have built strong relationships with veterinarians and established access to reliable resources for emergency situations, ensuring pets are always in safe and capable hands. I am highly experienced in handling dogs with anxiety and specialize in helping them become calmer and more comfortable through structured care and basic training techniques. I am also confident in caring for puppies and senior pets, understanding the extra attention, patience, and specific routines they require. My background allows me to provide not just supervision, but a safe, structured, and stress-free environment tailored to each pet’s individual needs. Pet care is seamlessly integrated into my daily routine, as my primary work in pet relocation requires me to be home and actively caring for animals throughout the day. This allows me to provide consistent supervision, timely feeding, regular exercise, and attentive monitoring of each pet’s well-being. Because I am home nearly 24/7, pets in my care receive a high level of attention, structure, and companionship. My schedule is naturally built around their needs, ensuring they are comfortable, safe, and well-cared for at all times. I provide a safe, structured, and clean environment for pets in my care, whether in my home or a client’s home. My property features a spacious, fully fenced yard with a secure gate, allowing pets to exercise and play safely under supervision. For added security and peace of mind, the home is equipped with surveillance cameras. I accommodate each pet based on the owner’s preferences and the pet’s needs. Crate accommodations are available for pets who are crate-trained or when owners prefer that added level of safety and routine. Cleanliness and hygiene are a top priority. All areas are sanitized daily using pet-safe cleaning products to ensure a healthy environment. I maintain a consistent routine that includes feeding, exercise, rest, and attentive monitoring to keep pets comfortable, secure, and well cared for at all times.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Fresno
Jace is a wonderful Rover associate! He made sure our pets were well taken care of while we were on vacation and gave our attention seeking bulldog plenty of attention and playtime. Jace was even able to pet and love on our shy kitty 🐈⬛! I would definitely recommend and book Jace again for future pet care needs.

Bianca was such a pleasure to work with. She was very knowledgeable about dogs and brought a calm energy. We instantly felt relieved to know that our Sadie was being taken care of by someone who has a passion for working with dogs of all breeds and sizes. I would definitely recommend Bianca to anyone who is looking for a sitter for their fur baby.

Ruth was such an amazing help with my 3 large dogs! We had a meet and greet with the animals and she took her time with my skittish dog who I was most worried for. She arrived on time and sent photos and information which was greatly appreciated. If you are looking for someone to watch your animals that maybe aren't comfortable with strangers, she's a great bet.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
