“Angela has taken care of our two elderly kitties for a few years now. She is great. We appreciate her kindness, reliability, and all the photos she sends. We recommend her highly.”

“Kaitlyn is seriously the best of the best! I always knew leaving the house that little puppy would always be taken care of. She gave us the best advice during the meet and greet, and now our puppy loves his crate! We are so grateful for her and will definitely be booking her again!”

About: **Serving most of California. Will travel. Holidays okay.** I've grown up with and cared for all different types of animals. I specialize in dogs & cats of all sizes. I've been a trusted housesitter for friends and family for over 21 years. All by word of mouth. I love to housesit and care for animals. I'm meticulous and thorough. I communicate daily with updates, concerns, good news and photos if requested. I can and will work with animals who may have behavioral issues. I have experience with dogs and cats with aggression or skittish personalities. I'm currently free to sit all day and overnight until the foreseeable future. Also I'm okay with long stays over 2 weeks + just give me your dates and I can check and hopefully confirm availability. Will travel within California. Unfortunately I do not care for pets in my home. I have experience with all shapes, sizes, and types of animals. If you are unsure of your pet, please ask. Chances are I have worked with that type before. I'll care for your animals and your house just like you would yourself. I do ask for a detailed list of what needs to be done and how you care for your pet, to avoid disrupting their schedule. I care for plant babies too!
“Rebeca is truly the best sitter you could have for your dogs!! She is kind and so great with communication, and my dogs warmed up to her very quickly! The best rover experience you could hope for is with her!!!”

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have experience caring for a variety of breeds and personalities. Growing up, my family had a German Shorthaired Pointer, a Labrador Retriever, and a Boxer-Pit Bull mix, which gave me experience with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. For the past four years, I’ve also regularly cared for a pair of Jack Russell Terriers while their owners were away. In addition, I’ve house- and dog-sat for two Brittanys and have checked in on outdoor cats on multiple occasions. I also have a black tuxedo cat of my own, so I’m comfortable caring for both cats and dogs and understand that every pet has unique needs, personalities, and routines. I’m currently working part time and in a Masters in Kinesiology program online. I am free all evenings after 4 pm in the month of August, and also free some mornings before 12pm! I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. I’ll always treat your pets and your home with the same care and respect I would my own. I’m happy to follow detailed care instructions, provide regular updates and photos, and make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands.
About: I'm a former 4H member which means I've not only taken care of a variety of animals, I've also shown them in competitions. I have personal experience taking care of Dogs, Cats, Horses, Birds, Rabbits & Rodents, and even Fish. I have owned and cared for many animals throughout my life, most of them have lived to old age--don't you just wish they could live forever? I am happy to take care of your loved ones as if they were my own for however long you need to be away from home. I am currently on Leave of Absence from work due to health issues which means I have all day and night to spend with your critters. I will follow your care instructions as closely as humanly possible! Need me to cuddle them during a storm? "Cook" their food before serving it? Shove a pill in a hotdog? Give your pet an IV bag? Been there, done that. Whatever they need, I'm there.
“Sarah stayed with Brie for the first time last week. It went really well. Brie seemed very comfortable in her care. She showed interest in the training that I am doing with Brie, and I really appreciated the effort that she put into reinforcing what Brie is learning. I have already scheduled Sarah again, and look forward to her next visit.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs from family friends, friends and people that have heard I do it, I am very good when it comes to understanding pets and how to train them. I trained both of my dogs and they have outstanding behavior! I think is very flexible and I feel like with my schedule now is very good because I can take care of him all day and then class is late at night, at that time my younger brother is home and he stays with the pet till I am home! Everyone is the household pitches in and the pet doesn’t spend time alone, they will be taken on walks if needed and will sit with them out in the yard for however time needed! I take of pets at my home like another human being, we love them, clean them, and put priority for them. They never go unnoticed and they always get the time each and every pet deserves! If there’s any special accommodations they will be applied to make everyone comfortable and safe!
“Eric was absolutely amazing with our dogs, Cooper and Emma. From the beginning, communication was great and he kept us updated with photos and messages during every visit, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear he genuinely cared for them and treated them like his own, really spending time getting to know them and building a trusting relationship with them. He made sure they got outside time, attention and plenty of care. Both pups were happy and comfortable the entire time. We also really appreciated how dependable, kind and accommodating he was throughout the whole process. We came home to two very happy dogs and couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. We’ll absolutely be reaching out to Eric again in the future and highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to watch their pets!”

I'm working on getting into a nursing program once Fall 2026 starts, I only have classes Tuesday and Thursday along with night classes on Mondays. We have a fenced yard with a doggie door and watch over multiple pets, I have also taken care of my neighbors German Shepherd by coming over at specific times to feed and let him out to go potty, he is a senior dog and I have lots of experience with senior dogs as I've taken care of some over the years.
“Emily was great! She is my first ever pet sitter, I was nervous about one of my pups, but by the end of the weekend he warming up to her! It was nice having someone check on them while I was away! I couldn’t recommend her more!”

“Kate was amazing! As my first experience with Rover, Kate put this worried pet parent at ease. She answered messages promptly and offered lots of reassurance. Kate followed directions and followed up with specific updates and pictures for each visit. She went above and beyond for our fur babies, even leaving a precious memento! We will be booking again. Thank you!”

Britney has done a fantastic job with drop-ins for my two dogs. I needed someone to check in on them during the day to play and make sure they were ok. The dogs were very happy and loved. Excellent and prompt communicator. Britney is very reliable and professional and would hire her again.
