“Ciana was caring and thoughtful through the whole process. Worked very well with my husky. She left detailed notes about each walk and communicated well with me, which showed me how well she works with pets and their owners. She was the best! Will definitely book with her again.”

“My dog seems to have been very happy with Kaitlyn. Love the pictures and detailed reports after each walk. We recently moved and received A LOT of packages while away (home decor, etc.), which Kaitlyn was nice enough to contend with as well.”

“Kate is a really great dog walker. She was available on short notice, timely, had a genuine love for our dog, and after just a few walks he is already super excited to see her for exercise time!”

About: Hi, I’m Caroline! I’ve always been the person who ends up sitting on the floor with the dog at any gathering so this felt like a natural fit. I’m attentive, communicative, and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs of all personalities: whether that means long walks, playtime, or just keeping them company and making them feel safe. You can expect thoughtful care, regular updates, and someone who genuinely enjoys being with your dog, not just “watching” them. I’m currently on a sabbatical from work so my days are very flexible! I have a small, older dog at home who gets along well with pretty much all other dogs. I approach pet care with a lot of attention, respect, and awareness, both for your dog and your space. In your home, I’m mindful of maintaining your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, since that’s what helps them feel most comfortable and secure. I follow all instructions carefully (feeding, walks, medications if needed), and I treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own. I’m very attentive on walks. I keep dogs leashed unless explicitly instructed otherwise, stay aware of surroundings, and prioritize their safety at all times. If I’m caring for your dog in my home, I provide a calm, clean, and low-stress environment where they can relax and feel at ease. I make sure they’re supervised, comfortable, and getting the right balance of activity and rest. Communication is a big priority for me. I’ll send regular updates and photos so you always know how your dog is doing.
“Renee was punctual when we met her for the first time. She suggested walking Chase around our cul-de-sac to see how he would do, which I really appreciated. Renee was very friendly and gentle with my puppy, and Chase immediately liked her. She also came well prepared when she arrived at our home. Overall, we had a great first experience with her.”

About: ⚠️ PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE CONTACTING ⚠️ To ensure we're a good fit and to respect both our time, please review my pricing and policies below before reaching out. Thank you! Welcome! I'm so glad you're here 🐾 Why families choose me I know how hard it is to leave your furry family member with someone new. That's why I'd love for you to visit my home before booking – see where your pet will stay, meet me in person, and get a feel for the environment. No pressure, just peace of mind. Here's what makes my care different: I only take two to three pets at a time. Yes, I have space for more, but I intentionally keep things small. Your pet isn't just another booking; they get my full attention, a calm environment, and the kind of care I'd want for my own pet. Since I work from home, your pet is never alone. If your pup has separation anxiety or just loves company, they'll have me nearby all day. I genuinely treat every guest like they're part of my family. What you can expect • Photos you'll actually love: I take pride in capturing beautiful moments of your pet. Check out my profile photos – that's the quality you'll get! I want you to see your pet's personality shine and know they're happy and loved. • Real communication: During business hours, you can call me anytime. Need an update? Have a question? I'm here. Your peace of mind matters. • A spotless home: My place is deep-cleaned weekly. It's fresh, odor-free, and hygienic. You're always welcome to visit! Just a heads up – I do ask guests to remove shoes to keep things pristine. • Safe outdoor space: The backyard has seven gorgeous redwood trees that provide tons of shade. That said, your pup will spend most of their time inside with me, where it's cool and comfortable. I never leave dogs unsupervised outside for extended periods. • A calm, quiet home: No young kids, and no elderly family members. Just a peaceful space where your pet can relax and be the star of the show. • No pool: One less thing to worry about! Safety first. Important details about care & pricing • Veterinary care: If I notice anything concerning about your pet's health, I'll contact you immediately (and Rover). If I can't reach you, I'll take them to the vet. All bookings are covered by Rover's Guarantee (up to $25,000 for eligible vet expenses). • Pricing adjustments: I do charge additional fees for certain situations to ensure I can provide the best care: Small: Base Rate Medium dogs: (30-60 lbs): +$15 Large dogs (60-90 lbs): +$20 Giant dogs (90-200 lbs): +$100 Puppies under 1 year (not potty trained): +$125 Why the large/giant dog fees? I want to be transparent about this. • Decline other reservations: due to the lack of space, I might need to be forced to cancel other reservations to ensure we have adequate space for your furry friend. • Space & capacity: When I host a large or giant breed, it often means I can only take one other pet (or sometimes no other pets) to ensure everyone has adequate space and comfort. This limits my availability for other bookings. • Physical demands: Larger dogs require more physical strength and energy – from handling on walks to managing their movements indoors. It's more intensive work to provide the attentive, hands-on care they deserve. • Wear and resources: Bigger dogs naturally need more of everything – more food, more space, more cleanup. They also create more wear on furniture, floors, and the home environment. • Individual attention: Every dog gets my full focus, but larger dogs often need extra time and specialized care to ensure they're comfortable and happy in my home. This pricing ensures I can give your large or giant dog the quality, individualized attention they deserve without compromising on care. Why the puppy fee? Puppies are wonderful, but they need specialized care! I take your pup out every 30 minutes to support their potty training and help them develop good habits. It's hands-on work, but it makes a real difference. If your puppy is already crate and potty trained, I'm happy to waive this fee. Again, please review these details before reaching out so we can make sure we're the right fit for your pet! I can't wait to meet you and your furry friend! 🐕💕 A day in the life with me 🌅 I'm naturally an early riser, which works out perfectly for your pup! Here's what a typical day looks like: Morning: We start the day with a refreshing morning walk to get those legs moving and set a positive tone for the day. Throughout the day: Your dog will get regular potty breaks in my backyard all morning long. Since I work from home, I'm always here to let them out when they need it. Evening: When the weather's nice, we'll wind down with an evening walk to stretch, explore, and burn off any remaining energy. This is the exact routine I followed with my own dog, and it worked wonders for his potty training. He learned to trust that I'd take him out when needed, and I learned to trust that he'd wait. It's all about consistency and communication! Your dog will seamlessly become part of my daily rhythm – same love, same care, same attention I gave my own. They're not just a guest; they're family while they're here. 🐕❤️ 🐣They will be in a safe and secure environment, where no dog will be distressed. I prioritize understanding each dog's behavior by discussing their temperament with clients and taking proactive measures to ensure a calm and harmonious atmosphere. This is why I limit the number of dogs to a maximum of two per night, to maintain individual attention and safety for all pets involved.

“I was very happy to find Angela to walk my dog, Nova. Nova is 7-months old and full of energy! Angela takes amazing care of her during her walks. Nova gets super excited to see Angela. Angela will text over a picture. I never worry about Nova when Angela is walking her.”

About: Hi, I’m Dalene. From a young age, I’ve had a passion for animals, and I understand how valuable they are as a precious member of your household. I have 35 + years’ experience caring for my furry, feathered, and reptilian friends-those of my neighbors, friends, and clients. I have experience working with disabled pets, senior pets, and administering medication. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes, ages, temperaments, and energy. I prioritize reading body language, so I can identify if your pet has an illness, is anxious or stressed, to ensure their safety, health, and happiness. I have past volunteer experience working at the Monterey County SPCA, and worked mainly with the dogs, playing with them, taking them for walks, and evaluating new arrivals for adoption. It was such a rewarding job when they were adopted. I volunteered at the Monterey zoo, cleaning cages, and helped with the feeding of the monkeys, elephants, ferrets, etc. I have a crazy alligator story I will share with you if you ask! 🫣 I am a full time pet sitter, so I’ll have plenty of time for belly rubs, playing fetch, relaxing with your pets, long walks, and making sure their needs are met. I care for pets in your home where they are most comfortable, and I will provide a calm environment where they feel safe, nurtured, and loved. Each pet is unique, and I will care for them accordingly. I will send you photos of your pets throughout the day, to give you peace of mind, so you know they are happy and content. Safety is of utmost importance when it comes to your pets, and I’m aware of other dogs when out on a walk, and making sure doors and gates are closed. I will not have houseguests over. I’m looking forward to meeting you and your pets! 😊

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since 2015 and have hands-on experience working in a professional dog training and daycare facility. Through that environment, I gained experience handling a wide range of personalities, from high-energy breeds to anxious or shy dogs, and learned the importance of structure, consistency, and reading behavior cues. I’ve also provided in-home dog sitting for multiple families over the years, and I’m currently an active volunteer with a local animal rescue in Fresno. Dogs tend to warm up to me quickly, and I prioritize calm, attentive care so both pets and owners feel comfortable and confident while they’re away. Please note that new clients for over night stays are required to have a meet and greet before booking to ensure safety for both myself and the client/dogs. I’m a hairstylist with a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide consistent care and attention for dogs. On the rare occasion when I have a fully booked day, I make arrangements to ensure their needs are met, whether that’s a mid-day potty break or extra attention when I’m home. I provide attentive, calm care in clients’ homes. I’m trustworthy, experienced, and dogs warm up to me quickly, ensuring their comfort and safety while you’re away.
About: I don’t remember a time in my life that I haven’t had a pet of some sorts. I’ve had cats, dogs, a bird, bunnies, reptiles, etc. You name it, I’ve probably had it. I love animals and if given the opportunity, I will love your pet like they’re my own. I currently have a full time job, however I am only in the office three days a week. Your pets needs will be my top priority and I like to really let them enjoy their walks, no rushing here! I have two very friendly dogs that can be placed in their room if needed. I do have a dog crate if you prefer your dog to be crated, however I do not crate my dogs.
About: Long-time pet services provider. Overall animal enthusiast. Currently, I volunteer at Animal Rescue of Fresno. Some of my additional history includes volunteering at wildlife rehab facilities and other animal rescue centers. I bring a balanced knowledge of nature versus nurture. I plan my days around my dog's needs first. Luckily, she enjoys when I mix it up so I am able to plan my day around your pet's needs as well. Pets and animals are in my every day! I have a very flexible schedule and a vehicle, if transport is needed. I have experience with all sorts of animals and will do my best to quickly learn your pet.
About: I have a deep passion for animal care and a broad range of experience working with pets of many ages and temperaments. What sets me apart from other sitters is my ability to cater to the specific needs of each pet, whether it's providing gentle care for senior dogs, offering enrichment activities for high-energy breeds, or utilizing positive reinforcement techniques to help train puppies. I'm experienced in reading animal body language, which allows me to quickly adapt to any situation and ensure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. I run my own business so I am able to make my own hours! This gives me the flexibility that I need in order to meet the needs of others! I personally have had a pet for as long as I can remember into childhood. What started off as the family dog/pet eventually turned into me caring for my own rescue pup in which I have had for 7 years now! She’s everything to me and most definitely apart of the family. I feed her strictly human grade dog food, and I am very strict about giving her structure and routine as this is the most effective way for her to thrive. She is well exercised since she is a high energy breed! In order to properly meet her needs, I have to walk her a minimum of a few miles a day. I have dedicated my time and $$$ to give her the absolute best care that I can provide to help her live as long and as healthy as she can!!
About: I’ve taken care of multiple cats with different needs since I was 12. I was in charge of giving them enrichment, cleaning their environment, and making sure every cat got along. I have experience caring for cats who are elderly, kittens, full grown, cats with FIV, and ringworm. I have also had the pleasure of volunteering at the Fresno Bully Rescue where I cleaned dog dishes, walk dogs, clean up after waste, and socialized dogs. I am currently on summer break from school so I have plenty of time to take care, exercise, clean up after your pet, and give them an enriching experience. I care for pets by introducing myself in a calm way to reduce stress and build trust. I clean up after messes to ensure a clean and safe environment, feed pets, and provide enrichment to deter negative behaviors.
Woodward Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
Renee was punctual when we met her for the first time. She suggested walking Chase around our cul-de-sac to see how he would do, which I really appreciated. Renee was very friendly and gentle with my puppy, and Chase immediately liked her. She also came well prepared when she arrived at our home. Overall, we had a great first experience with her.

John is an excellent communicator and really cares about you and your dog’s needs and will do what it takes to make sure they are well cared for under his service. Also, he gave great tips on how to handle my dog reactivity and basic obedience! He was able to show me some of the techniques in a matter of minutes which was very helpful.
