I tailor my care specially for each individual pet's specific needs so that their safety, health, and well-being are always number one. For every walk however I always do the following: I check each pet for any injuries or signs of illness during every greeting and contact owners as needed, I make sure leashes and collars are comfortable and secure, I always carry an umbrella on walks to use as a quick shield or visual block in case of unfriendly strays, and I keep an eye on weather forecasts to make sure it is safe to go out.

An important part of safety with pets includes appropriate leash behavior. If your pet struggles to walk on a leash, let me know! I am a certified behaviorist and can help you create a behavior plan to help your pet learn what they need to in order to start enjoying the rewards of safe walks!

I'm am open to whatever works for you and your pet. My goal is leave your pet happy and healthy so if they have a favorite place to walk or a favorite activity, let me know and I am happy to do my best to accommodate!

Hello! My name is Terri! Do you have a cat or dog that you need help providing care for? I can help! I have been caring for dogs and cats of all kinds and ages since I was 12 years old. I am also a certified behaviorist with a background in horse training so I am not afraid to work with animals that are much larger and heavier than I.
