About: I've had a pet my entire life. I can't imagine life without an animal companion. I currently have a spirited Queensland Heeler who keeps me on my toes. I’ve spent years caring for dogs with energy, personality, and unique needs. My brother-in-law is a veterinarian, so I’m comfortable handling a wide range of pet care situations with confidence and compassion. From puppies and kittens to senior care, I am ready to treat yours with the love and care they deserve as valued family members. As a retired law enforcement professional, I bring a strong sense of responsibility, trustworthiness, and calm under pressure to every pet care visit. With my kids grown and independent, I have the time, flexibility, and heart to give your furry companions the attention they deserve. Whether it’s in-home care where your furry family is most comfortable, daily walks, playtime, feeding, or simply keeping your pet company while you’re away, I’ll treat them with the same love and respect I give my own.
“Ciana was caring and thoughtful through the whole process. Worked very well with my husky. She left detailed notes about each walk and communicated well with me, which showed me how well she works with pets and their owners. She was the best! Will definitely book with her again.”

“Renee was punctual when we met her for the first time. She suggested walking Chase around our cul-de-sac to see how he would do, which I really appreciated. Renee was very friendly and gentle with my puppy, and Chase immediately liked her. She also came well prepared when she arrived at our home. Overall, we had a great first experience with her.”

About: I have grown up with cats and dogs all my life. Dogs are my favorite thing in the entire world- I love them so much! I recently graduated from Fresno SJVC's Veterinary Assistant program with a 3.42 GPA. I performed my externship hours at Animal Hospital and Dental Clinic in Fresno, CA. Tell your cat I said pss pss pss. ♡ I have open availability and I fully intend on continuing pet sitting part time even after being hired in a vet clinic. My schedule is flexible and I will do my best to accommodate your pets needs. At this time, I am only able to pet sit from the comfort of your pets home. I take safety very seriously and am a stickler for double checking that doors/gates are shut and locked properly. I make sure that every collar/harness/leash is securely attached before taking a pet outside on a walk. I am cautious about pets getting into anything that can make them sick and always make your pets health/safety my top priority!
“My dog seems to have been very happy with Kaitlyn. Love the pictures and detailed reports after each walk. We recently moved and received A LOT of packages while away (home decor, etc.), which Kaitlyn was nice enough to contend with as well.”

About: I have taken care of my cousin's husky on occasion and have been around numerous dogs. I love going on walks and will ensure that they get enough exercise. I'm currently on a break from taking college courses, so I have a lot of free time. I am excited to spend my time doing something I love and that is productive. I will treat every pet with the same care and respect that I would show my own. I will follow all orders or specific instructions from pet owners. I also hold communication in high regard, so pet parents feel secure in their choice to leave their pet with me.
About: I have 20 years of experience with dogs and 5 years working as a kennel technician at a dog training facility; where I cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Tasked with daily feedings, bathroom breaks, basic care, baths, and providing medications as prescribed. I have a senior dog of my own and understand the importance of patience and care they need. Most importantly I genuinely love dogs and care for each of them as if they were my own! I am available full time for walks sit-ins and boardings, I am flexible with timing and am happy to accommodate your pets routine! Boardings are available Monday-Sunday. I have a fenced in yard with a senior dog who is extremely friendly to all people, kids, cats, dogs and is also crate trained.
“Kate is a really great dog walker. She was available on short notice, timely, had a genuine love for our dog, and after just a few walks he is already super excited to see her for exercise time!”

About: ⚠️ PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE CONTACTING ⚠️ To ensure we're a good fit and to respect both our time, please review my pricing and policies below before reaching out. Thank you! Welcome! I'm so glad you're here 🐾 Why families choose me I know how hard it is to leave your furry family member with someone new. That's why I'd love for you to visit my home before booking – see where your pet will stay, meet me in person, and get a feel for the environment. No pressure, just peace of mind. Here's what makes my care different: I only take two to three pets at a time. Yes, I have space for more, but I intentionally keep things small. Your pet isn't just another booking; they get my full attention, a calm environment, and the kind of care I'd want for my own pet. Since I work from home, your pet is never alone. If your pup has separation anxiety or just loves company, they'll have me nearby all day. I genuinely treat every guest like they're part of my family. What you can expect • Photos you'll actually love: I take pride in capturing beautiful moments of your pet. Check out my profile photos – that's the quality you'll get! I want you to see your pet's personality shine and know they're happy and loved. • Real communication: During business hours, you can call me anytime. Need an update? Have a question? I'm here. Your peace of mind matters. • A spotless home: My place is deep-cleaned weekly. It's fresh, odor-free, and hygienic. You're always welcome to visit! Just a heads up – I do ask guests to remove shoes to keep things pristine. • Safe outdoor space: The backyard has seven gorgeous redwood trees that provide tons of shade. That said, your pup will spend most of their time inside with me, where it's cool and comfortable. I never leave dogs unsupervised outside for extended periods. • A calm, quiet home: No young kids, and no elderly family members. Just a peaceful space where your pet can relax and be the star of the show. • No pool: One less thing to worry about! Safety first. Important details about care & pricing • Veterinary care: If I notice anything concerning about your pet's health, I'll contact you immediately (and Rover). If I can't reach you, I'll take them to the vet. All bookings are covered by Rover's Guarantee (up to $25,000 for eligible vet expenses). • Pricing adjustments: I do charge additional fees for certain situations to ensure I can provide the best care: Small/Medium dogs (under 60 lbs): Base rate Large dogs (60-90 lbs): +$20 Giant dogs (90-200 lbs): +$100 Puppies under 1 year (not potty trained): +$125 Why the large/giant dog fees? I want to be transparent about this. • Decline other reservations: due to the lack of space, I might need to be forced to cancel other reservations to ensure we have adequate space for your furry friend. • Space & capacity: When I host a large or giant breed, it often means I can only take one other pet (or sometimes no other pets) to ensure everyone has adequate space and comfort. This limits my availability for other bookings. • Physical demands: Larger dogs require more physical strength and energy – from handling on walks to managing their movements indoors. It's more intensive work to provide the attentive, hands-on care they deserve. • Wear and resources: Bigger dogs naturally need more of everything – more food, more space, more cleanup. They also create more wear on furniture, floors, and the home environment. • Individual attention: Every dog gets my full focus, but larger dogs often need extra time and specialized care to ensure they're comfortable and happy in my home. This pricing ensures I can give your large or giant dog the quality, individualized attention they deserve without compromising on care. Why the puppy fee? Puppies are wonderful, but they need specialized care! I take your pup out every 30 minutes to support their potty training and help them develop good habits. It's hands-on work, but it makes a real difference. If your puppy is already crate and potty trained, I'm happy to waive this fee. Again, please review these details before reaching out so we can make sure we're the right fit for your pet! I can't wait to meet you and your furry friend! 🐕💕 A day in the life with me 🌅 I'm naturally an early riser, which works out perfectly for your pup! Here's what a typical day looks like: Morning: We start the day with a refreshing morning walk to get those legs moving and set a positive tone for the day. Throughout the day: Your dog will get regular potty breaks in my backyard all morning long. Since I work from home, I'm always here to let them out when they need it. Evening: When the weather's nice, we'll wind down with an evening walk to stretch, explore, and burn off any remaining energy. This is the exact routine I followed with my own dog, and it worked wonders for his potty training. He learned to trust that I'd take him out when needed, and I learned to trust that he'd wait. It's all about consistency and communication! Your dog will seamlessly become part of my daily rhythm – same love, same care, same attention I gave my own. They're not just a guest; they're family while they're here. 🐕❤️ 🐣They will be in a safe and secure environment, where no dog will be distressed. I prioritize understanding each dog's behavior by discussing their temperament with clients and taking proactive measures to ensure a calm and harmonious atmosphere. This is why I limit the number of dogs to a maximum of two per night, to maintain individual attention and safety for all pets involved.

“We have been using Kara for a few weeks now for dog walks and she has been great. We have 2 pit bull breeds with a combined weight of 130lbs. Kara has done a fantastic job walking them both and we feel comfortable with her to handle them when they get excited. She is timely and communicative which we appreciate!”
About: I’ve been around pets my whole life. I enjoy spending time with them they are always a comfort. Friends and family of mine have always asked me to watch over their furry friends if busy, and I always agree because it’s exciting! I don’t work much as of now so I have time to provide for your loved one as needed. Even when I am busy this is my work and i’m dedicated to spending it with your pup or cat. I enjoy nature so being outside with your pup brings me joy just as much as being able to sit on the couch with them as we watch tv. When boarding is available with me I treat them as if they were my own pet. To being able to watch me cook in the kitchen to getting comfy on the couch snuggled up. I will take care of your pets needs with the instructions given to me by you.
“Scott is dependable and honest. He conducted 2 house visits during my travel to make sure my dog was able to walk and had food and water. I truly appreciate his service and attention to my pet.”

Clovis dog parents share their Rover experiences
Renee was punctual when we met her for the first time. She suggested walking Chase around our cul-de-sac to see how he would do, which I really appreciated. Renee was very friendly and gentle with my puppy, and Chase immediately liked her. She also came well prepared when she arrived at our home. Overall, we had a great first experience with her.

Sarena has been walking my pup for about a month now, two times a week, and it’s been so great! She’s timely, which is reassuring for me, and so friendly which is great for my dog! My dog went through some intensive training a year ago for her reactivity and Sarena was open to learning how to use my dog’s tools to best set her up for success on a walk. I also love that Sarena is active on the app to show me when she arrives at my home, how long the walk was, and even sends me photos of my dog on the walk. She responds quickly and has been so great!

John is an excellent communicator and really cares about you and your dog’s needs and will do what it takes to make sure they are well cared for under his service. Also, he gave great tips on how to handle my dog reactivity and basic obedience! He was able to show me some of the techniques in a matter of minutes which was very helpful.
