1. Micki D.

“Michelle was the best Rover ever! She came with extensive experience with animals at the Humane Society, which is just what Spirit needed. Spirit was a rescue and although very well adjusted to her new home, having the most experienced and loving caretaker. At our meet and greet, Michelle asked about all of her needs, medical and how to play with her. She was an instant friend with organic buffalo treats on our meet and greet. In our week away we got daily updates with wonderful pictures of Spirit doing her favorite things from eating to playing with her favorite toys. The bubbles, the balls and her wand. She was a happy well fed cat while we were gone. She even turned up the heat on a cold day in Forestville. Michelle was a fantastic Rover and Spirit and her family were very grateful to have fo”

4. Clair A.

“Clair is the best! Trusting someone with our baby has been tough, and she makes us all feel comfortable every step of the way. She also pays attention to important details and is flexible and reliable.”

5. Casey L.

“Casey was very attentive and trustworthy. She gives great updates and goes above and beyond to make my kitty feel safe and for peace of mind not being home. She is awesome! Will call her again 😎😊”

6. Erin C.
“Erin is a lifelong lover of cats and all animals. She has taken care of numerous cats throughout her life and understands the various behaviors and needs of individual cats regardless of their age, gender, sociability, or medical needs. I trust Erin with any of my pets, especially cats given her robust experience with felines both her own and those belonging to friends, relatives and others.”

7. Tanner W.

About: A lifelong animal lover, I have cared for dogs, cats, and other pets for over 20 years. For the past decade, I have worked professionally in the animal care field, with most of my time spent in animal shelters caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, reptiles, and more! Working with shelter animals has given me a huge education on how to approach scared or stressed animals, so I can work with dogs and cats that aren't comfortable with new people, and go at their pace to ensure a smooth transition. Working in a shelter environment has given me a solid foundation in canine and feline behavior and enrichment which will allow me to provide more specialized care to your pets. I am also working towards a Professional Dog Training certification with Karen Pryor Academy, which is a school with a focus on positive reinforcement-based dog training. I hope to be certified near the end of 2025. I currently have a flexible schedule and can work with you to meet your and your pets' needs! I am happy to accommodate schedule changes as much as I am able to. I am only offering dog walking and drop-in pet-sitting services at this time. I am happy to work within your boundaries to ensure safety and security for all.

8. Tim F.
“Tim has taken care of our dog Toskey (65lb lab mix) on several occasions. Whenever we pick Toskey up, you can tell she has had a great time and has been well cared for. Tim has a genuine understanding of canines and a passion for their care. Some people/places provide safety for your dog and you accept the service at that. Tim goes above and beyond in the way he treats all dogs as if they were his own. I would not hesitate for a second to to put the well being of our love in Tim's hands. ”

9. Luna R.

“Luna was wonderful.”

10. Alexis W.

“Alexis was great! My kitty is usually very shy & hides for at least the first 5 minutes when meeting someone new, but not with Alexis. She hung out with her right from the start & even let her play with her a bit. I was really able to relax while away, knowing she was being well cared for.”

11. Monica T.
“I have been friends and colleagues with Monica for nearly a decade, she is trustworthy, thoughtful, and caring. She has watched my dog, Echo, on a number of occasions. Echo is high energy and has epilepsy- she requires medication throughout the day to manage her condition. Monica follows Echo's medication schedule closely, and Echo always comes home tired after playing with Monica's friendly dog, Phoenix. Echo adores Monica, and I know she's in good hands!”

12. Holly D.
“Isn't it a great feeling knowing you can trust the person who is caring for your animals? That's how we were able to feel having Holly watch our 3 cats, 2 dogs and chickens. Holly deeply cares for all creatures and is very respectful. She listened carefully to all the directions that were left and all were followed to the T. Holly will treat your pets as if they were her own. Hiring her was a great decision for our family because we had peace of mind that Holly would take care of everything while we were away.”

13. Oli O.

“Oli did a great job with her visits. We especially appreciated getting the photos of Perseus during her visits. It gave us peace of mind to know he was being well taken care of while we were away.”

14. Kathleen C.
“Kathleen has a gift when it comes to animals! I’m convinced that my pets love her more than they love me. She had sat for/walked my dogs and my cat, and my experience with her has been nothing short of amazing. She is attentive and compassionate, and my pets are always sad to leave her after they’ve been in her care. All three of my pets are senior citizens with special needs, and she is very skilled at dealing with their various needs and administering their medications. Beyond this, she is reliable, trustworthy, and communicative. I highly recommend her, and I would trust her with my pets again without question!!”

15. Duyen "Lily" C.
“Lily C. has taken care of our pets when we were out of town on several occasions. We have 3 dogs, a bird and 1 cat, plus a 75 gallon fish tank with 20 fish. We always felt comfortable with the care of our pets when in Lily’s care. We always came back to happy healthy animals with a freshly cleaned cat box. We have had several people watch our animals over the years, but lily is one our favorite caregivers. If she is ever to move back to Vermont, we would love to have her care for our pets when needed. Sincerely Kristi”

16. Angelina A.

“Angelina was great! I really can not think of one thing that I was not happy with. She kept me updated on my kitty and sent pictures. I came home to an immaculate home. She even did some light grocery shopping for my return home. Wow, I thought this was so thoughtful. Thank you, Angelina, for letting me enjoy my vacation knowing that I had left everything in good hands. 👏”

17. Avery L.
“I’ve never met another person who I would trust with my pets more than Avery. Her love of animals and commitment to providing excellent care makes her the only pet sitter I’ll ever use! After some unfortunate experiences with doggy daycare which left our senior dog with a nasty case of kennel cough, we knew we had to find a better alternative. Avery was happy to fill that role! Our pets love her, and we can sleep easy knowing they’re safe under her care. 10/10 pet sitter. :)”

18. Annalisa D.
“Annalisa is the most loving animal mother I've ever known and has always treated my animals, and everyone else's, with the care and attention she offers to her own. She's an upstanding and exceptional member of society who uplifts every space she enters. I know that if Annalisa is caring for my furbabies, that they are in just as good of hands as if I was there myself. In addition to being caring and thoughtful, Annalisa is also exceptionally smart, thoughtful, trustworthy and diligent. She is the first person I would want to watch my animals in my home if I can't be there myself.”

19. Kathryn G.

“Kathryn is great! Very responsive to communication, patient and flexible, and a true lover of dogs. We feel very lucky to have found her, especially since she has a special love for and comfort with pitbulls. We are excited to keep working with her for drop-in visits for our pup. Thank you Kathryn!”

20. Chelsea M.
About: I have cared for dogs since I was ten years old and I got my first puppy. After my college graduation I wanted another dog so bad but because of my travel for work I was always the one to just visit and baby sit my parents dogs for about the past 7 years. However, I'm changing careers now to be home more and have my very own puppy and luckily the chance to look after some other cute dogs as well! I live on a 7 acre property and have experience taking care of goats and chickens as well! I'm currently going back to school, mostly online so I have lots of time to drive to and play with your dog. On some days I do have to be at the SRJC in person but never for more than 4 hours at a time. I am an outdoorsy person and I love to go on long walks. I also have a SUV so if a walk in a park further away is desired I can easily transport them. I have a high energy puppy of my own that loves to play with other dogs big and small so he is always available to keep your dog company if they enjoy playing with others.
