About: "You're in Great Hands", is what I often tell a new client, as a Massage Therapist. I prefer the company of animals and especially dogs, to people,, so this is what I 'd like to do in addition to the above. New to Rover, (8/13/2026) not new, to caring greatly, for animals, including my own. Your dog(s), or cats will be in great, loving hands!. I know from having Papi, what a huge responsibility it is to keep him safe, while trying to have a ball with him. I offer you, the same above understanding and assurance. From looking at others profiles, the rates seem super complicated. With this added on rate and that. I'd like to keep it a little less complicated. I'm not interested in charging for a second dog, or more for a puppy. I'm not drawn to the idea of staying in someone else's house, but would be happy to /prefer checking in on your pet family, rather than spending the night. Please give me a little time to figure out how to fix rates on here better. I've been trying to get rid of the additional rates listed on my profile. For now though, I'm available to check in on your pets and/or take them for walks. Guerneville, Monte Rio, Forestville. I believe I offer a premium service, where I can focus on a few, rather than quantity. The above will absolutely keep your pet safer, happier and free of injury from other dogs and an environment where the walker is juggling way too many dogs, personalities and what ifs? at once. I cook for My dog Papi. ***If you'd like me to do the same for your pet, am happy to.*** I already spend all of my free time taking care of my dog Papi. I'd like the opportunity to devote my time and love to your loved one(s) as well. Most of my free time outside of being a Massage Therapist, is happily spent taking my dog with another dog buddy when possible, to parks, walks, hikes, dog friendly beaches, adventures. Please let me know your very specific needs and hopes for our time together and I absolutely will do my best, to fulfill those. ***I WILL NOT take your loved pet, to a dog park where there are other dogs in an enclosed dog park. it is absolutely the easiest way, at some point, or another, for your loved one to be seriously injured by another dog, who is aggressive and/or in a mood.***

About: I'm excited to be back to doing what I love best after some time away raising a kiddo and creating a home dreamy for humans and furry friends alike. Treat your canine friend to a retreat in the country and feel comfortable leaving them in the hands of a professional and certified trainer. With over forty years of experience with animals and as a reputable Trainer for an Assistance Dog organization, i have a strong background with animals and can provide a safe and fun environment. My home is a canine paradise! It's quiet and serene with plenty of shade, a fully fenced yard, and a private dirt road that meanders through the countryside right out our back door, - perfect for walks for the dogs. There ia a resident Labrador retrievers named "Heart" and a Bernese Mountaing Dog named "Stormy" They are great ambassadors and love to host furry friends. I can also offer training, baths/grooming just ask if you think you would like this. We look forward to your dogs vacay with us. Why I love dog sitting I know when I leave for vacation, knowing my animals are in good hands allows for me to relax and enjoy my time away worry free. Animal owners are some of the best people I have known and I love meeting new friends, human and furry alike. I work part time from home, so it makes for the ideal environment to incorporate dog sitting into the day. I care for the dogs as if they were my own and I hope that you will allow us the honor to care for you animals(s). I am currently working from home. I leave the house on occasion but can either take your dog with me for a car ride if they like that, leave your dog home or if you would prefer, crate it for a short time. I am never gone long when dogs are n my care. I treat all dogs as if they are my own and follow the instructions of the owners on what to do to make them comfortable while in my home.

About: My name is Nicole. I have been an animal lover since I was old enough to know what animals were. Between catching potato bugs, feeding the spiders in my windowsills, and moving worms off of sidewalks, I’ve always had a particular connection with the animals that most people don’t understand. As soon as I was old enough, I marched off to the Sonoma County Animal Services to volunteer. From there, it was love at first bark. When I turned 18, I immediately went to animal care as my first real job and was lucky enough to work at Rohnert Park Animal Services for several years. I opened my home to many different rescue critters including snakes, tortoises, rats, lizards, and birds. I rescued my first dog and she is still my best friend to this day 10 years later! Over the years, I was blessed to foster many different exotic animals and worked with the Sacramento SPCA through the pandemic. Shortly after, I made a huge cross-country move and ended up in Louisiana working with all kinds of critters at Northshore Humane Society. From there, I ended up back in my hometown of Sonoma County. Throughout all of these changes, the one variable that never changed was my love for animals and passion for making sure they were safe. Through my 8+ years of shelter experience I have worked with the most feral of feral cats, wildlife brought in shoeboxes, all sizes and shapes of dogs, and so much more. I have met and befriended many pets that were reluctant to be befriended and worked with virtually every breed of cat and dog on the planet. I am fear-free certified and have extensive experience with medication management, basic first-aid, canine CPR, and basic training for both dogs and cats. I am experienced with walking large breeds including reactive dogs and can handle heavy pullers (I have TWO huskies!). I have also volunteered with the Bird Rescue Center of Sonoma County and have a special skillset with exotic animals. My two personal rescue dogs are half husky and bully breed which are two of the most misunderstood dog breeds, so there will be no breed discrimination from me. My favorite furry friends are often shy, tricky to befriend, or nervous. Making a scared baby comfortable means the world to me and I love the challenge. As stated above, I also have extensive experience caring for exotic pets including rats, mice, birds, snakes, tortoises, turtles, fish, lizards, invertebrates, and spiders. I am perfectly comfortable with your exotic pet’s diet and am familiar with feeding snakes and other reptiles frozen-thawed rodents. The only animals I won’t consider petsitting for are species that are illegal to own or venomous. If I had to summarize my truest passion, it would be making sure that every single animal feels safe and comfortable. Even if they’re not perfect, they all deserve kindness and patience. We don’t expect perfection from humans, but we so frequently expect it of animals. So if your pet is a little bit quirky or one of those types that gets dismissed as “scary” or “mean”, you’ve found a person that will give them exactly what they need to feel loved and cherished. Because no pet is perfect, but they are perfect for you. My promise to you is that I will do my best to be your baby’s new BFF. No pet sitter will truly replace you, but I will make sure that I’m the second-best thing. I work from home as an administrative assistant for my husband's guitar studio, so I have a flexible schedule to meet your specific needs. I have access to a reliable car and am happy to do multiple drop-ins so your buddy is comfortable all day long. My motto is that ALL animals deserve humane, kind, and compassionate care. My 16 years in animal shelters has gifted me with experience handling virtually every type of pet of all different shapes, sizes, personalities, and needs. I am certified in fear-free training and utilize positive reinforcement only. I'm passionate about cooperative care and ethical handling no matter the circumstances. About: I've grown up taking care of both cats and dogs. I love animals and look forward to helping you care your your precious pets. In the past I have worked as a pet and house sitter for a couple families. I always enjoy any time spent with animals. I have flexible schedule making me available to care for your fur babies! I live in Guerneville, but frequently go to Sebastopol throughout the week. So mainly looking to work for ones in these areas. But open to adventuring in to further surrounding areas if its a good fit for us both! Currently I am not able to board pets in my home because I am renting. About: I love dogs and all animals. I have a lot of experience taking care of my own and others. I have taken care of a farm for 5 years that has 6 dogs, 5 horses, 4 cats, and chickens so I am very attentive and aware of an animals needs at all time. I work from home so your pet can hangout with me all day and I can take breaks for walks and runs. I am available for overnights, extended vacations, dog walks, or special hikes. I am in good shape so long walks, hikes, and exercise aren't an issue. I treat my dog like a member of the family as I will treat yours the same way. I can take breaks during the day to take your pet out for walks. They also can go in and out of the backyard as they please.
