About: I have been around dogs my whole life. Growing up my family had loving but sassy golden retriever, she was so nurturing and maternal we nicknamed her Nanny Girl. She always groomed and watched over us kids but also our cats lol! I then was blessed to spend 12 wonderfully sweet years with my black lab. He was such a spunky, funny pup and grew into the sweetest, most gentle little old man. I miss him terribly, but I am not quite ready to get another dog. I frequently dog/cat sit for family and friends and I still have boxes of toys left for your pup to play with. I remember the stress and worry of leaving your fur baby behind and in the care of someone else when going on vacation. I can promise you that I will love and spoil your fur baby as if they were my own. I work from home full time so I will be with your dog all day (with the exception of a possible quick errand). I can accommodate any needs that your dog has. If they are high energy I am very familiar with lots of parks, trails and dog parks in the area to run and play and get all that energy out. If they have slowed down a bit I have a comfy couch and lots of blankets to snuggle up with and toys to play at their pace with. I work remotely, so I am able to be with your pet all day. We can go out for walks frequently or if medication needs to be administered throughout the day I am available to do that. I am very clean and am overly cautious when taking pups outside. I always make sure they are on their leash securely and stay alert for things going on around us.

“Mary was on time, and took the best care of my babies! I felt very comfortably knowing they were being well taken care of! Will recommend her and use her in the future. She followed all of my many instructions/ and was loving towards my sweet fur babies.”

“Hannah was absolutely amazing!! She came for us last minute and will now be out to go for pet care!! She gave wonderful updates and loved and cared for our animals so thoroughly!! She really is incredible and I recommend her 💯”

“Emily is the BEST! So sweet with my pups, they absolutely love her. You can tell she has a soft spot in her heart for animals. Excellent communication and very reliable. Will definitely be using her again in the future. Thank you Emily!!!”

“Heather loved my buoys like her own. She customized their care to accommodate for my crabby 15-yr old and gave all four of them good scruffings every day. Even sketchy little Piqeaux the Chiweenie warmed up to her. It was gratifying to receive her daily updates and pics. Heather will be by furbaby-sitter from now on.”

“Lisa took wonderful care of my kitties while I was out of town. She was very responsive and followed my directions to a T. She gave photo updates and spent a good amount of time brushing and playing with them. Will definitely use her again!”

About: I grew up with pets and now that I have a family of my own we have a dog! I am comfortable with any age and size of pet and can guarantee nothing but love while in my care! I am a stay at home mom so I am home & available to play with your pet and keep them company! I have a very open schedule and availability. My errands are under 2 hours to drop off my kids at school/pick up. I have a fenced in yard and 1 friendly puppy to keep your fur baby company! I also have 3 young children who adore animals and will keep your pet busy! I can easily crate your dog when you want/need and I am available for frequent potty breaks!

About: I have cared for senior dogs and a potty training puppy. I have walked and cared for dogs varying in sizes from a great dane to a miniature wiener dog. Additionally, I am experienced with high energy and low energy dogs and can adapt to their needs. I am currently working full-time with one day in-person a week. Therefore, would be able to spend ample time with pets and access to a fenced yard. Pets are family and I intend to care for your pet as good as I would take care of a child! I have loved animals all my life and love any opportunity to spend time with them!

About: I am always smiling brightly every time I have the opportunity to be with an animal. (I have many photos of this to share!) I love all types of these precious beings! Some of my life experiences include: Parenting Dogs, Cats, Kittens, Lizards, and Senior Pets. I have assisted in kitten birth and successfully bonded with, and adopted a feral kitten who (still) adores me... Yay! 😁 I have also cared for a very sick lizard who required a lot of care by myself for a few long months. All types of animals seem to be attracted to me, including... dogs, cats, ferrets, horses, donkeys, goats, possums, squirrels, etc. I love the saying, "If animals are drawn to you, it's not random. They can sense good energy and are naturally drawn to calm and safe vibes." I have been a volunteer at the Michigan Humane Society and I am also a medical professional (for humans). *Disclaimer: My '30' years of experience is personal, not professional. I have always had a strong desire to work with animals and I am hoping to finally transition from human care to animal care. I did not choose to work medically with animals as my career because I prefer to interact with animals and enjoy what they bring to the world, rather than do restraining and invasive procedures on them. ***IMPORTANT***Since I am attempting to transition from human care to animal care, I still work full time (plus) in the Human Healthcare field and my work schedule varies. Rover only allows us three default time slots to choose from and that is a HUGE disaster for my scheduled 'availability' here. Due to this set up, unfortunately I will have to decline requests often. It is not that I don't want the opportunity. It is that I will not be able to take some of them at that time and there is no option to indicate that on my schedule calander. My typical availability might be something like: M-W evenings 6-9pm (I may arrive in medical scrubs), Friday afternoon 2-6pm and some Sunday afternoons before 2pm. House sitting can also 'sometimes' be booked with notice if not marked in my profile or calander as an available service. This schedule is not definite, not always available and varies. Sometimes I will even be available other times but it would be impossible to continually update that here in my profile every few days so it seems there is not much choice but to decline 'open' slots where I am not available. I greatly apologize in advance. I will keep my calander as close to accurate as I am able to but it will not be exact. I did request a change in the scheduling format for better accommodation. 👍🏿 I am pretty intuitive about what makes an animal happy (and not) and I would make their time with me as awesome as I possibly can! Additionally, I would happily engage farm animals, birds, and others to my full ability!

“Kathryn took care of our 1-year old cat for the 4th of July weekend, and did an excellent job making sure she was fed and safe while we were out of town. Kathryn was able to work with our schedule, and was very responsive to messages during our trip. We would definitely recommend Kathryn and would work with her again in the future!”

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life and value the companionship and love they fill us with everyday. On top of caring for my own pup I have helped friends and family with walking and boarding when needed. I’m a sahm so pet care fits into my schedule right along with my other daily activities. We go on walks with my dog and play outside and could easily fit another furry friend into the routine. I take my sweet boy to the dog park twice a week so he can meet and play with friends. He’s extremely friendly with other dogs and people, so if you wanted for your fur baby to get some socialization I can always bring him with me. (He is up to date on all shots)

About: I am very patient, and I’m passionate about working with animals. I will take care of them like they’re my own. I am very communicative about any issues that arise and make sure that the pet and the owners are satisfied with my care. I work part time at a restaurant and just graduated high school, I would love to spend my extra time playing and taking care of a bunch of amazing new animals. I have a fenced back yard, but I take my Pomskies on walks and to the dog park. My cat is only allowed outside with me and she comes back when called. They all eat 2-3 times a day. Every animal and their owner is different, so just tell me exactly how you take care of your pet and I will abide.

About: Growing up I’ve always had some sort of animals in the house! I’ve always wanted to be a veterinarian growing up (i’ve changed my mind since lol) but i know i definitely want to do something with animals! I recently had to leave my full time job and am looking for something different and better to fit my lifestyle! I’m available 24/7 and am just going to see house this works out! I would follow any rules in client’s house that are needed to ensure safety with pets! Making sure there isn’t anything for pets to get into, making sure gates are closed when letting pets out, engaging with the pets (providing exercise and attention), exercising pets as needed, etc.

About: Hi there! My name is Gylian and I have owned animals my whole life! From cats, dogs, bunnies and more! I’ve watched many pets of friends & family through word of mouth mostly and am very flexible due to my seasonal occupation. I’m willing to watch or walk pretty much any type of animal and will put in extra work for special needs if discussed ahead of time. I’ve had experience with newborns to elder pet care. I have also traveled 1000+ miles to pet sit (more than once now!) I know how important their routines are per my own fur babies and keep it that way while you're away! Any other questions or concerns, I'm free to chat most of the time! I work in a seasonal income tax office January through April. I may have to do a day a month if that and it’s only a seven hour shift. I’m very flexible for the remaining months! I ensure the needs of the pet are met 24/7. From checking food and water bowls for refills/cleans to regular bathroom breaks & outdoor time. I have cats at home and know how important upkeep on the litter box is as well. Treat schedules are very important for me to know due to how vital they are in my household. Pets have a few huge joys in life; I'm here to provide food, entertainment, and love. Every animal is unique, and it's wonderful to get to know each one's personality!

About: I have had animals in my family and daily life since as long as I can remember. From miniature dachshunds to great danes, there hasn’t been a time where my house didn’t have a dog or three roaming around inside. I had to learn at a young age how to care for them including trimming nails, cleaning ears, walking, bathing, and my favorite spending time with them. It didn’t take long for my dog sitting for close family and friends turned into me getting a job at a dog daycare, and ultimately learning and improving on how to care for them. Seeing a tail wag and wiggle butt will forever be something that brings a smile to my face. I currently work part time at a dog daycare facility. The days I work I am home around or before 4 p.m. I am very capable of working around times and catering to your dogs wants and needs. Whatever works for your dog can and will work for me. I have experienced a lot of different situations with different breeds and what a specific dog may be comfortable with. As long and the owner communicates what their dog needs (feeding, medications, exercise, etc.), I am positive I can figure it out.

Bonnie S.

“Bonnie watched our very energetic, 6 month old, puppy for 10 days last summer. She took such good care of her, walked her twice a day, played with her in the yard, snuggled - as much as you can with a puppy with those sharp teeth:) and basically was a great dog mom while we were gone. Bonnie is a very happy and kind person which carried over to her care of our puppy. I observed her being gentle but firm when interacting with our puppy as well as my daughter's dog and could see that she genuinely loves animals. Upon our return I could tell our puppy missed all the love and attention she was given. Bonnie spent a lot of time with our puppy and took great care of her. I would highly recommend her to be your dog's caregiver!”

“The pups love when she visits”

Shannon G.
“Shannon is more than just a responsible pet caregiver—she goes above and beyond. She kept my dog, Maxwell, active and engaged, whether by taking him on long walks or hiding treats around her home to keep him mentally stimulated. I completely trust her to prioritize Maxwell’s well-being and give him the time and attention he needs. It makes me SO happy to see how excited he gets when I drop him off at Shannon’s. residence. She always does a great job of keeping me updated by sending pictures and letting me know how he’s doing, which gives me peace of mind while I’m away. I would recommend Shannon as my pet caregiver to everyone! She is the best!”

Jordan W.
“My sister, Jordan, and I grew up with pets since we were kids. She’s always been such a compassionate pet owner; it’s like they’re drawn to her! She’s currently a dog-mom herself; always giving the pup immense love and keeping him safe. You can rely on Jordan to make sure your pet is consistently fed, walked, and effectively cared for.”

Colette W.
“Simply put, having Colette come sit for my little girl is probably my pups favorite part of the day. My dog Zaida is afraid of dang near everything, so I was skeptical at first about having a stranger around, but after a quick intro visit Zaida couldn't be happier. Colette spoils her and makes her a happy girl while I am away, and she has proven to be quite flexible with times if I have a last minute issue and can't make it home in time. Been using her for a few years now and will definitely keep doing so.”
