11. Emily B.
About: Leaving your pups with a stranger is extremely worrying! With me as your sitter, I can send you wellness pictures as often as you’d like, text you plenty of updates, and treat them as my own. I currently own 5 very high maintenance dogs, in which most of them are large breed. I’ve gone through thick and thin with dogs, but I believe that they all deserve love. If you are worried about finding a sitter who can manage your wild (or calm) dogs, then I’d be happy to help! I am currently a college student at Franklin College. I have an open schedule for the month of January, but a more busy schedule in the following months after. I will always elaborate on my schedule with owners and spend as much time as I can with the animals! I work part time, but most likely I would be requesting off work to be with your animals. I don’t mind dogs on the couch, or on the bed. I am not strict on any training at all, but being potty trained is fairly needed unless it’s a puppy or senior. I can provide walks and baths. If your pets need a few hours of playtime, I can play with them as well. Every family has specific needs that I would be glad to discuss with you!

12. Alison H.

“Alison went above and beyond in taking care of our large breed, high energy fur babies. We were nervous about leaving them for so long but, Alison made it a nonissue. Our babies were nonchalant when we returned - the telltale sign. Thank you Alison!!”

13. Susan L.
“Susan is amazing with our dog Flyer! She gives attention, lots of love and snuggles and gives treats at the appropriate times when permitted by us and takes her on walks when we request them. She is very trustworthy and will make your pet feel loved and very cared for until you return. We highly recommend her services.”

14. Jennifer F.

“Jennifer was fantastic! She took really great care of my two greyhounds during her drop in visit. She was mindful of the heat and adjusted the needs of my dogs accordingly. She was also communicative in the process!”

15. Rick V.
“When I think of Rick, people, pets, and plants (gardening) come to mind. I entrust Rick to my 20-pound mini goldendoodle, 24/7, and I'm a fussbudget! I have a 2-hour commute (one-way) for my work, M-F, and I won't leave my dog unattended for hours on end. Rick displays "The Softer Side of Sears" when I say that he has a compassion and passion for people and pets. He reinforces training commands (to my already certified Therapy Dog) to keep my doodle accountable and enjoyable in public space. "The pride of ownership" is his mantra, as an avid gardener, dog trainer, neat freak (for lack of a better term) and all around nice guy.”

16. Sara Z.

“Sara was incredible to work with. She responded to my questions quickly and took excellent care of my dog while I was away at work. She sent pictures of my dog during the visit. I would absolutely recommend her!”

17. Sarah F.
“Sarah has always taken such great care of are pets and never fails to be available for us. She has been our pet sitter for 4 years now. She is amazing and would recommend her for anyone who needs one.”

18. Lindsey C.
“We found Lindsey when I started asking about sitters on Next Door. We own 2 small older dogs with moderate health and anxiety issues who are also set in their ways. Since we hadn’t been on vacation for a very long time, we needed a sitter who would be willing to spend time with them, feed them, give medications, and spend the night with them. I had looked at various pet agencies, but overnight stays were almost nonexistent. When Lindsey expressed interest, we invited her over for lunch and a meet&greet with the dogs. We started with a day trip, then a long weekend….the dogs fared very well and Lindsey followed all the instructions we had written for her. We just got back from a 10 day trip with family and we didn’t worry about her ability to care for the kids the way we would. Kirby even had a health issue come up and she texted right away and we were able to resolve his issues over the phone. I really feel blessed to have found her… I feel that the house and the dogs are in safe hands while we’re gone.”

19. Madysen S.

“Very flexible working with my schedule and excellent care.”
