Pet care fits beautifully into my retired routine because I now have the time and flexibility to truly dedicate myself to it. Each day, I enjoy starting my morning with a walk or play session with the pets in my care—it keeps me active and gives structure to my day. Throughout the week, I schedule pet visits or overnight stays around my personal commitments, allowing me to be reliable and fully present for both the pets and their owners. Caring for animals brings me joy, purpose, and a sense of companionship, which is a wonderful complement to my retired lifestyle. Whether it's feeding, walking, playing, or simply offering comfort and company, I enjoy making each pet feel safe and loved while their families are away.

Safety, trust & environment

Caring for your pet in their own home helps them feel safe, secure, and relaxed while you're away. Here's what I provide to make sure they receive the best care possible: 🐾 Familiar Routine I follow your pet’s normal routine for feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and medications. Keeping things consistent helps reduce stress and keeps your pet happy. 🐾 Individualized Attention Every pet is different, so I adjust my care to meet their unique needs—whether that’s extra playtime, quiet companionship, or special handling for seniors or shy pets. 🐾 Safety & Wellness I monitor your pet’s health and behavior during each visit, and I’ll contact you right away if I notice anything out of the ordinary. Their safety is always my top priority. 🐾 A Clean & Comfortable Space I make sure food and water bowls are clean and full, litter boxes are scooped, and accidents are cleaned up promptly. Your home stays tidy, and your pet stays comfortable. 🐾 Communication & Peace of Mind You’ll receive regular updates with photos and notes so you can feel confident knowing your pet is being well cared for—even when you’re away.

Pet care experience

What sets me apart from other pet sitters is the level of personalized care, attention to detail, and genuine love I bring to every pet I care for. I don’t just show up to feed and walk—I take time to understand each animal’s routine, personality, and special needs. Whether it's a shy cat who needs extra patience, a high-energy dog who loves long walks, or a senior pet with medication needs, I adjust my care to make them feel comfortable and loved.

Susan exceeded our expectations and she took really good care of Zoey. Zoey really loved her, too. She took in our mail and packages. Overall, a great experience and we look forward to using her again. We highly recommend her.
