About: I am very well organized, love being around animals and will make sure your pet is loved, comfortable, well fed and well taken care of! I currently only work 3-4 times a week for 4-5 hours at a time, so I am very available and willing to take the time for your pet! I have a large dog who is very well trained and I am very good with his feeding and potty schedule! He truly is my best friend!
About: Having been around a variety of animals for my entire life I appreciate the joy and place they hold in their family’s lives. My own soul dog (Sheltie named Finn) passed away in 2025 and he is dearly missed. Though he is gone, my love of animals has never changed. These days I paint animal portraits for shelter donations, care for the pets of family/friends, and now I serve to help those seeking an aid for their furry family member. Every family deserves to know their animal(s) are being cared for with the utmost respect. That is the level of responsibility I take when I will accompany your pet on a walk or to check on them during the day. There is also plenty of room for play and affection! They are your family and deserve to be treated as such. I am currently working part-time weekdays until 2 pm. After work, I am available to assist in the care of animals by walking or checking on their welfare. The first thing I do when arriving is ensure that all animals within the home are well by observing them. Once that is assured, I take the time to let them adjust to my presence by allowing them to meet me on their terms. Afterwards, I ensure water bowls are changed or topped off, litter boxes are emptied if needed, and prepare any dogs for their walks.

About: I’ve been pet sitting for 3 years and have always loved animals. I’ve cared for everything from fish and small pets to dogs, cats, and horses. About: I am a trainer for Veterans of Best Friends. I also have a minature golden doodle which is certified thru Alliance of Therapy Dogs of which we visit hospice patients regularly coordinated thru Main Street Hospice located in Franklin. I am a retired airline engineer and recently received my Master Gardener certification. I am retired and do some dog training also. About: I have been around and grown up with pets for my 28 years of life. I have experience with puppies, dogs, kittens, cats, also fish, farm animals. About: I have always lived in a multi-animal household. I was raised by two animal lovers, and have had the honor of caring for several cats and dogs until their final days. Currently, I have a 3 year old, 11 year old, and 13 year old cat and two 11 year old dogs. I have also been pet sitting for neighbors since 2021, and been a foster since 2025. I am patient and willing to give your pet any special attention they may need due to age, a medical condition, or fear/behavioral issues. I do want you to know that if your dog likes to go on a lot of walks, I’m unfortunately not the sitter for you. I have a mobility disability. I am happy to play with your dog with their toys or supervise them as they run around your yard, but I am not able to take them on walks to get their energy out. But if you have a puppy that likes to “wrassle” or rough-house a little, that I’m happy to do! I’m a work-from-home (or wherever there’s internet) attorney. I may need to leave for like half the day to attend a hearing or a mediation. But besides that, I can’t think of any foreseeable reason I’d have to leave your pet alone for more than six hours. I am very willing to take things slow and work at your pet’s pace. I do not have any specialized training, but I have worked with dogs and cats with past trauma. I have laid on the ground for three hours just to show a dog I’m not a threat and they can approach me. And she eventually did, and the rest of the week went great. I am also willing to visit your house, possibly multiple times, to meet your pet and allow them to get comfortable with me before your travel.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
