About: I am a trainer for Veterans of Best Friends. I also have a minature golden doodle which is certified thru Alliance of Therapy Dogs of which we visit hospice patients regularly coordinated thru Main Street Hospice located in Franklin. I am a retired airline engineer and recently received my Master Gardener certification. I am retired and do some dog training also. I enjoy pets and would love to have some pet drop ins possibly pet sitting to fill the void I treat everyone’s pet along with their household as it was one of my own. About: I have been around cats and dogs my entire life. I have been taking care of them since I was a teenager, whether it was my own fur babies or someone else’s. I have been in veterinary medicine for about 4 years. I am trained and confident in giving medications, injections, and overall basic care. I work full time at a vet clinic; 3 days during the week (currently Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and every other Sunday. I have a lot of free time on weekends and Tuesdays. I have limited availability on Fridays but would be able to work around my schedule. I can care for your 4-legged kiddos like they’re my own. I can easily do potty breaks, medicate, feed, water, and play time in the comfort of their own home.

About: Am retired and generally home all day Recently retired. Plenty of time for walks and attention. have personal experience with dogs and cats. I had a dog for 7 years. She passed away. I was very fond of her. I am Recently retired. Love walking dogs and having them in my home. Back yard has 6 foot fence for secure potty breaks. Home most of time I do not have any pets at this time. About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, and grew up volunteering in shelters and working at a kennel. I am completely comfortable around both cats and dogs, and I occasionally foster both through my local shelter while they wait for their forever homes. I’m experienced and certified in basic dog training for puppies. I am able to administer dog CPR and basic first aid in case of emergency. I’d be happy and proud to take care of your pet(s) for you. About: Having been around a variety of animals for my entire life I appreciate the joy and place they hold in their family’s lives. My own soul dog (Sheltie named Finn) passed away in 2025 and he is dearly missed. Though he is gone, my love of animals has never changed. These days I paint animal portraits for shelter donations, care for the pets of family/friends, and now I serve to help those seeking an aid for their furry family member. Every family deserves to know their animal(s) are being cared for with the utmost respect. That is the level of responsibility I take when I will accompany your pet on a walk or to check on them during the day. There is also plenty of room for play and affection! They are your family and deserve to be treated as such. I am currently working part-time weekdays until 2 pm. After work, I am available to assist in the care of animals by walking or checking on their welfare. The first thing I do when arriving is ensure that all animals within the home are well by observing them. Once that is assured, I take the time to let them adjust to my presence by allowing them to meet me on their terms. Afterwards, I ensure water bowls are changed or topped off, litter boxes are emptied if needed, and prepare any dogs for their walks.

About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can think of. Family & friends have relied on me to walk or stay and take care of their loved animals. I am active and love walks and play. Available for any type of dog/age. Can bathe and other things upon request! I currently work in a hybrid job. About: I have had a dog of myself for 10+ years, and he has definitely helped me learn a lot! I’m able to easily form great relationships with any dog I have met (so far), and absolutely adore being around them and caring for them. Thanks to my experience as a dog owner, I know all there is to know of the basics of caring for dogs of all ages. My current job has me working 2-6 Monday through Friday, and 1:15-6 on Wednesdays. Since I don’t work long hours, that leaves me pretty open when it comes to pet care! Since I don’t offer boarding in my own home, I will travel to yours to care for your pet. When housesitting, I tend to hang out in the area where your pet is in the most to keep an eye on them if they need anything, and to keep them company while I’m around (if I can, I also like being on the floor so if they want to come and say hi or get some pets I’m right within their reach)! Also, I may be unfamiliar with the neighborhood, but that won’t discourage me from taking your furry friend on walks if they’re able!

Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
