About: I am a trainer for Veterans of Best Friends. I also have a minature golden doodle which is certified thru Alliance of Therapy Dogs of which we visit hospice patients regularly coordinated thru Main Street Hospice located in Franklin. I am a retired airline engineer and recently received my Master Gardener certification. I am retired and do some dog training also. I enjoy pets and would love to have some pet drop ins possibly pet sitting to fill the void I treat everyone’s pet along with their household as it was one of my own. About: I have had a dog of myself for 10+ years, and he has definitely helped me learn a lot! I’m able to easily form great relationships with any dog I have met (so far), and absolutely adore being around them and caring for them. Thanks to my experience as a dog owner, I know all there is to know of the basics of caring for dogs of all ages. My current job has me working 2-6 Monday through Friday, and 1:15-6 on Wednesdays. Since I don’t work long hours, that leaves me pretty open when it comes to pet care! Since I don’t offer boarding in my own home, I will travel to yours to care for your pet. When housesitting, I tend to hang out in the area where your pet is in the most to keep an eye on them if they need anything, and to keep them company while I’m around (if I can, I also like being on the floor so if they want to come and say hi or get some pets I’m right within their reach)! Also, I may be unfamiliar with the neighborhood, but that won’t discourage me from taking your furry friend on walks if they’re able!

About: I have always had many animals from rabbits to birds to fish, and of course dogs. I have had dogs my whole life and love making bonds with them as well as making them feel loved and safe. I am in grad school so have school every day Monay-Friday, off on Thursday's but I am extremely flexible. I have school most days 8:30-4pm. I care for pets in my home by making sure they have access to fresh food and water, regular exercise, and a clean and safe environment. I also make time to give them attention and all the love. If caring for a pet in a client’s home, I would follow the client’s specific instructions and routines for feeding, walking, grooming, and other pet-care needs. About: I am Happy and Joyful always and dogs deserve the happiest day as possible! They are the sweetest creatures on planet earth. It’s my pleasure to be there for them! I am pretty flexible after 4 pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends. I had a 17 year old dog whom I administered medications and treatments for throughout his long lifespan. Additionally I have a kitten. While my dog was alive he enjoyed hugs and kisses especially after medication time! walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
