About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life, and love them deeply. I volunteered with a cat rescue for 5 years, and last year started volunteering with a pitbull rescue, including doggy days out, events, and fostering. I wake up around 8am and feed my cat before letting my dogs out in the backyard for a potty break and to run around for a bit. I feed them and let them in to eat, and then play with them periodically while I work, and let them outside every two hours or so. If work allows, I take them for a midday walk as well. In the evening we hang out on the couch while I read or watch a show, and then they are crated for bedtime until we wake up. I have a fenced in backyard and two friendly dogs to play with. Both are happily crated at bedtime or when we leave the house.

I go for walks since the husky boy needs it, and he is trained and friendly and likes to play with friends if allowed so he’s as excited as I am! We take 30 minute walks twice daily, morning and evening. We go to the the dog park (broad ripple or clay terrace) on Sundays. Feeding whenever convenient for the pet I’m watching, some dietetic pets need a strict timeline so we stick to that. Through pet sitting apps, I've cared for a wide variety of dogs with all kinds of personalities and needs — nothing has been too much to handle. I lead with patience, adaptability, and a genuine love for animals. A quick note on availability: between my work schedule and time with my daughter, I'm away from home between 9am and 6pm daily. I'm a great fit for pets who are comfortable being on their own during that window, and I'll make sure they're well cared for and comfortable before and after. I'm also proud to be LGBTQ+ friendly and welcome clients from all walks of life. Building trust is everything to me — I want you to feel confident that your pet (and your home, if I'm house sitting) is in caring, capable hands. I am generally open to anything my time slots provide. Overnights should not be an issue but will need to be talked about prior to booking. I do NOT have have a place to house dogs so currently I am only a house sitter. Please let me know if you have any questions! I used to care for 2 dogs and a cat while i was with my wife but now i just have the cat. The cat is very much self sufficient, although she does revel in all the pets that we have to offer, but the dogs take more work! I love to take dogs on walks in the various parks around where i am living and will do the same for yours! If you have favorite spot let me know about it!! I can incorporate a walk there for your pups if you would like!
About: I was a devoted pet parent for 12 years, caring for my yorkies Maggie & Molly from the time they were one through their senior years. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, potty breaks, maintaining routines, and administering insulin injections when needed. While I’m new to providing pet care professionally, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets. I’ll treat your pets with the same care, patience, and love I’d want for my own 🐾 I work Monday through Friday 9am to 4pm. I’m in the office every Tuesday & Wednesday and every other Monday. I work from home on Thursdays & Fridays. I can provide pet care both before and after work, with extra flexibility on my work-from-home days ☺️ I care for pets with patience, attention, and lots of love. In a client’s home, I’ll follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medications, and plenty of attention. My schedule is open for training, daycare and more! Things to know before booking boarding with me: Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are my top priorities. I am dedicated to providing a safe, caring, and enjoyable environment throughout their stay. Unless there is an issue or something that requires immediate attention, I provide one update each evening after the day has settled down. This allows me to spend more time caring for the dogs and less time on my phone. For privacy and security, all photos and videos are taken outdoors. But upon meeting Emily for a meet and greet with one of my dogs, I was immediately put at ease by her kindness and knowledge of dogs, both from owning her own and from her fostering of rescued dogs through two local organizations.
