“Emmi was great! She was super helpful checking in on my cat and giving him his medication while I was away. She sent updates and pictures at every stop in. I would book with her again to look after my pets!”

“Lauren made our first Rover experience so easy and stress-free. She took great care of our cats, sent us lots of sweet photos, and even cleaned up some throw up (not a fun task, but SO appreciated!). Super friendly, reliable, and on time. We’d definitely book her again!”

About: Hello, I’m Lisa! I grew up with a beloved family dog for 14 years and have since cared for pets for three families on and off, both dogs and cats. I truly enjoy every part of pet care - walking, feeding, playing, light grooming, and of course tons of love and attention! I’ve participated in Race for the Rescues and volunteering, and I look forward to meeting furry friends in the area. I love snuggling with pets and following pet's leads, and I am hugely passionate about animals! Safety is first and families describe me as reliable, trustworthy, fun, and detail-oriented. I understand that pets are sensitive, incredibly special creatures and they deserve to be treated like family. I’m available all day on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as Fridays after 6pm. I’d love the opportunity to help give you peace of mind and add joy to your pet's life! : ) I am available on weekends (anytime on Saturday and Sunday) as well as Fridays after 6pm. During weekdays, I am unavailable during the day as I work a traditional 9-5 role. I am an expert at following instructions for each pet's preferences and care. I am highly sensitive to pets' emotional needs beyond lists and I personalize care around the clock.

About: I grew up with dogs and cared for them until I moved away to college. I have cared for neighbors dogs when they went on vacation. I am retired now but I usually spend time helping my wife care for my 100 yo mother in law in the late afternoons every other day. But this is flexible. It is a tremendous honor and responsibility to have someone trust me with their pet. It takes years to build trust, but only a second to destroy it. It is so great to see so many responsible pet owners here in Folsom. Let me help you with this when you need it.

“Ian did a great job looking after my kitties! They have very distinct personalities and I feel like he understood each of them. I really appreciated how he took the time to play with them and gave them attention :)”

“This was our 4th time we were lucky enough to have Stephanie watch our cat and our home. She is so caring and even takes good care of my garden. I cannot recommend her enough!”

About: I’ve had pet dogs my entire life. I’ve been dog sitting and dog walking since a very young age and I love it. I hope to be able to help others out with their beloved animals. I am currently working a part time job and also going to school. I miss my own animals back at home so I want to start helping others out with their own. I can easily care for your dog inside your home or outside in the backyard. I also have an open apartment that is pet friendly

“Natalie is such a great drop-in sitter. She is super trustworthy and responsible. She is great with our cat and bearded dragon and a wonderful communicator! Highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes with many different needs. Ages ranging from one week to senior. Same goes for cats, I have experience with all ages of cats. I work from home for VSP as a training coordinator. I can bring my laptop anywhere and work from anywhere as long as there’s Wi-Fi. So anytime you would need me to come and check on your pet or if you would like me to stay at your house I could easily make that work with my job. Pets are family and should be treated as such! I currently have a cat and she gets anything she wants (within reason) she is spoiled, but not rotten. I would follow the instructions given on how you would prefer your pet to be taken care of, but I would truly enjoy spending time with all pets, making sure they feel safe and comfortable.

“Candace was an awesome petsitter for our two kitties, Evie & Jaffy! She was very attentive to all the details of their care that I had requested. Her love of animals was readily apparent when she meet our kitties for the first time. Daily updates and photos were appreciated while we were on vacation, and gave us peace of mind. Candace also watched over our home, watering house plants and monitoring a few items with the pool. We were very pleased with all the care Candace provided and we would highly recommend her to anyone.”

About: I've owned a dog and cat for most of my adult life. Both have passed on and I would love to take care of yours! I am currently working part time and am available to help out with your pet care needs Tuesday through Saturday morning, noon and night. Thank you! I will abide by all of your verbal and written rules while taking the utmost care of your loved pets in and outside of your home.

“Lisa is amazing!! It was our first time using Rover as we just moved to the area and we were a little nervous leaving our cats with someone new. On top of that, right after we booked with her and confirmed everything, our kitten became extremely sick and needed daily injections to save her life. This doubly increased our anxiety as now we had to rely on someone else to keep our baby alive while we went home for the holidays. We had to change our booking schedule not only once but twice due to dosage changes and Lisa was so flexible and accommodating. She kept our worries at bay by sending great updates and pictures each day after her visit as well as perfectly administering our kitten’s injections (which were NOT fun, the medicine burns while it’s administered but Lisa handled it easily each day). We even ran out of cat food (facepalm) and Lisa was kind enough to run out to the store and pick us up some more without us asking her to. If you want a pet sitter to care about your babies, then Lisa is the perfect candidate! I can’t say enough positive things about her and our experience using her services.”

“Couldn’t have been more grateful to have had Carolanna take care of my cat! She went above and beyond to make sure my cat was doing okay while I was out on vacation. Very communicative, friendly, and diligent — would highly recommend!”

“We were gone the entire week of Christmas, and we could not be happier with the care Barbara provided for our cat. Riley is a very needy cat demanding constant back rubs and belly rubs. The pictures Barbara sent us showed that Riley was very satisfied with the care she received from Barbara. The pictures of Riley lying on her back waiting for her belly rub were precious. In addition, Riley's litter box, and the closet it is kept in, could not have been cleaner. I could go on and on about things Barbara did that we were happy with, but space is limited! Just know that we are extremely satisfied with the service Barbara provided and will DEFINITELY hire her again.”

About: I've had dogs in my family since I was 5. Love, love, love dogs energy. Now have two huge Anatolian shepherds that I walk twice a day on most days. Love playing with them, making their food and giving them a good belly and head scratch. My three sons are back in school full time so I'm looking to fill my schedule part time hanging with dogs. My other job is a coach for mothers and I've also got a podcast about self care and making yourself a priority. My work schedule is very flexible as I do everything virtually and on my own time. My pets safety and those I'll be watching is my top priority. I stick to walking in neighborhoods with sidewalks if possible and avoid busy trails so there's no "altercations" (a lesson I learned the hard way). Most dogs have a ton of energy and they need to PLAY and move so that's what I'm here for.

“My wife and I have had the pleasure of having Lisa cat-sit for us several times while we've been away on vacation. She always arrives on schedule for feedings, and she stays to play with our cats and keep them company. She has taken the time to get to know our pets and to make them feel comfortable around her, and by the end of a vacation they treat Lisa like another member of the family. I can't recommend her strongly enough!”

Bob R.
“We have known Bob and Connie since they moved next door to us in Natoma Station in 2002. They watched our dogs for us and walked them every day when we went on vacation a few times.
