I’ve taken care of family friends’ pets when they’ve gone out of town when I was in high school and college as well. I’m a nurse and I’m looking to hang out with some pets on my off days! My schedule varies from week to week, so one time bookings or a flexible schedule would be best for me! I won’t be boarding other pets because I have two cats of my own, but I can follow schedules required for your pet in your home and ensure their best safety.

About: Growing up without pets, I always dreamed of having my own furry companion to take care of, never taking for granted any time I got to spend with my friends' family pets. When I entered college, I threw myself at every opportunity to watch my professors' dogs and cats, thankful that they trusted one of their students to take care of their beloved pet. Due to my flexible schedule as a student, I was available to be an attentive, caring pet sitter, quickly learning how to take care of dogs and cats of all sizes, needs, and personalities. After graduating from college in 2023, I knew I could not live much longer in a pet-free home. Despite my intense need to fill the pet-sized hole in my heart, I waited one year to save up enough money and to learn the fundamentals of caring for a pet - being a responsible pet owner was my number one priority. Finally, in June 2024 I became the owner of my beloved Sesame, a rambunctious, playful, sassy black cat who is the love of my life. While I cannot change the fact that I grew up without pets, this long period taught me never to take a pet's company for granted. I pour so much love, energy, and time into caring for my Sesame, and would be delighted to share this infinite pot of love with your pet. My job is fully remote, so it is incredibly easy for me to fit a furry companion (or several!) into my daily routine. This flexibility allows me to keep my availability wide open, so I am available whenever you are in need for a caring, compassionate, attentive pet sitter. Safety is at the forefront of my mind when I am pet sitting. Having a cat who will chew on any plastic or string he can get his hands on, I have learned the importance of keeping a clean home free of hazards to ensure your pet's safety. While dropping by or staying overnight to care for your pet, I am very attentive to your pet's behavior. Through observation, I quickly learn what kinds of attention your pet likes and aim to engage with him/her safely and regularly. With ample playtime, attention, and care, your pet will be in safe hands while you are away.
