About: I’ve spent the last 10 years caring for dogs of all kinds, including reactive pups and those needing medication. I truly love animals and take the time to understand each pet’s personality and needs. Working from home allows me to be flexible and fully present—your pet gets real attention, not just a quick visit. I work from home so I have to ability to step away to care for people’s pets. I am also available most days and times It’s more than just walking dogs or making sure they have food and water. I want to make sure they know they are cared for emotionally as well and get some energy out by playing and interacting
About: I signed up to take care of my sisters brand new puppy (a golden doodle named Clover) for the first two weeks that they had her. They had to work and got to a conference — and I have loved caring for dogs ever since. This experience showed me the continuous attention and care needed at the puppy age and how gratifying it was in return. Since then, I adopted my first dog — she is now a 2.5 year old rescue pug/bull dog mix. I work full time and I am joining Rover to spend more time with dogs! Most of my availability is on week nights and weekends. Our dog sleeps crated every night for her comfort. Your dog will be crated as well, or I can board at your house with or without a crate!
About: My family and I absolutely love dog sitting — it’s such a rewarding experience getting to spend time with different breeds and enjoying all of their unique personalities. I truly spoil every pup as if they were my own, and they quickly become part of the family. You’ll see that reflected in my reviews! :) Before reaching out, I kindly ask that all dogs be fully house-trained, spayed or neutered, free of fleas, ticks, and worms, good with other pups and most importantly, great with kids. This helps ensure a safe and happy environment for everyone involved. I don’t have a fenced-in yard, but dogs are always supervised and either leashed or on a lead during all outdoor time. I bring this up because one client rated me slightly lower due to the lack of a fence. Even though it wasn’t mentioned in the written review and had nothing to do with the quality of care provided, I just like to be upfront so there are no surprises. If a fenced yard is something that’s important to you, I completely understand and encourage you to find the best fit for your pup’s needs. I’ve chosen Fox Chapel as the location on my profile because it’s a convenient central point for many of the areas I regularly serve. I’m located about 25 minutes from that area, but my clients come from all over the Pittsburgh region — some even drive over an hour — so listing this ZIP code helps keep my services easy to find and accessible. Lastly, a quick note: Rover takes a percentage of the total booking fee, which helps support their platform, maintain security, and provide protections for both pet parents and sitters like me. With that said, if you’re especially happy with the care your pup receives, tips are always appreciated — though never expected! He also had really bad separation anxiety so can be a lot to watch and handle , she made me feel so calm and safe leaving him with her for a week .
