“Katie did such a great job watching Reggie while my husband and I were out of town for a few days! We received plenty of updates and could tell he was well taken care of when we picked him up. Will definitely be using Katie again!”

“What an INCREDIBLE dog sitter!!! I 1000% would use her again. She was so kind and kept me up to date the whole time. My pup even got sick while staying with her and she handled it sooo graciously. Your pup is in GREAT hands here!!”
“This was our second time working with Amy and she was great! She was very accommodating on drop off time to make sure it fit all of our schedules. She sent photos and gave us updates throughout the trip as well :) Will book again!”

“I cannot express how appreciative my wife and I are for Tonia’s care in watching our pup. She had never been boarded before and we were very nervous about it. Despite our dog Maya having a lot of separation anxiety and some reactivity to people we felt reassured knowing that someone who genuinely loves dogs and has a very calm environment was watching her. Thank you so much for your help Tonia!”

“Kymberlee and family did a wonderful job looking after Larkin. Kymberlee sent a lot of pictures and videos of Larkin who seemed to be loving her vacation also! She got along with the other dogs and loved hanging with the children. We would definitely reach out to Kymberlee to see if she could keep Larkin again. THANK YOU so much Kymberlee for taking such good care and letting Larkin become one of the family for a week!!!”

“Sunny had a wonderful week with Jenny and her family and loved playing with their dog Bosco. He was so happy and comfortable when we picked him up! Great updates and communication.”

“Amanda did an outstanding job of taking care of my senior dog, Kobe, while I was in Chicago for my son’s wedding. She kept me updated on Kobe’s welfare, with text messages and photos. I’ll definitely use Amanda next time I have to leave town.”

“Michelle is fabulous! I take my Australian Labradoodle to her and she cares so much about him. She goes on daily walks, plays outside with him, and keeps him safe. I feel so comfortable with him being there. Thanks again Michelle! We’ll be back.”

“Just left our dog with Shauna for the first time this past week.... She will definitely be our go-to moving forward. We received updates and pictures and I'm pretty sure he didn't want to come home when we picked him up. Highly, highly recommended!!”

“I am very fortunate to have found Laura! Based on her "About" info and all the great reviews, I felt my dog would be well cared for. We had a great first meeting with Laura which solidified my decision to hire her. Drop off was easy because of our first meeting. She had excellent communication! She sent pictures, messages and responded promptly to any messages I initiated. When I picked up my dog, she(my dog)was happy to see me and my husband but not eager to leave. That’s a good sign to me that she felt safe and was happy there! I 100% recommend Laura and hope she's available next time I need her.”

“Matthew was amazing. I’ve only had Oakley for two weeks and am still getting to know his habits, on top of the fact that he is already 85 lbs, but none of that bothered Matthew. He sent daily pictures and confirmed that all was going well. He is very relaxed and Oakley got along very well with his three dogs. Matthew has a very large backyard and a 100’ lead that was great for Oakley since he loves to just lay outside. I highly recommend Matthew and will be using him again.”

“Jenny was amazing!!! If I could give her 10 stars I would. She took Romeo on walks, took pixs and videos. I was so at peace and he was so comfortable that we have found our "sitter person". Thank u Jenny for making my vacation enjoyable and Romeo too 😆”

“Erin and her family took wonderful care of our dog Maddy. It was such a relief knowing Maddy was loved on and taken care of while we were out of town. She is very quickly responsive and reached out to me with pictures and updates thru out the day. Erin also accommodated us last second as our previous arrangements fell thru and even got us in for a meet and greet the same day I reached out to her. Your dog will be loved on by 5 humans, walked, and entertained while staying in Erin’s home. It is tough for us to find sitters for our dog because she is dog selective. This was the perfect arrangement for our pup and we will definitely be having our dog stay with them again!”

“Highly recommend! My dog stayed here for a multiple day booking and had an amazing time. The sitter was fantastic and which allowed my dog to socialize and spend time around a friendly large breed dog, which was a wonderful bonus experience. It was great to see my dog so comfortable, well-cared for, and happily socializing. I will definitely use this sitter again in the future!”

“I asked Rebecca to watch my dog for the day when our travel schedules became hectic and I couldn’t leave him at home alone for such long stretches of time. Rebecca was so accommodating and responsive, even with such a last minute request. My dog absolutely loved his day with her family, getting all the love and attention he could handle. We will definitely be booking again!”

About: Hi! I’m Bri. I’ve grown up with dogs around me my entire life (Great Dane, Great Dane/Saint Bernard mix, then Beagle mixes). I have trained them since they were puppies and taken care of them in old age. I have taken care of cats consistently for 7 years. From caring for my parents’ cat, cat sitting for various friends when they leave town, and now my own! (Breeds include Siamese, Tuxedo, and Maine Coon). I currently have two yellow labs and an orange American shorthair kitty! I have been part of Rover for a couple of years. Additionally, I serve as a volunteer at Kenton County Animal Services and Cincinnati Animal Care as an occasional foster owner, a dog walker, and cat socializer. I work full time from 8:30a-4:30p but have flexibility on weekends and nights when needed. I work in Clifton and live in Covington. So, I am able to make time to attend to your pet at various times during the day/week! I like to get a clear understanding of how to approach the pet from the owner (if they’re timid, friendly, or just need time). Typically, when visiting a client’s home, I like to give the pet space and not intrude upon their comfort spaces until they are comfortable with me. If we are fast friends, I like to spend time playing, relaxing, or just existing with them!

Jane was wonderful with our mini Goldendoodle. We did a meet and greet to make sure it was a good fit. He is elderly and on medications and she made us feel comfortable with meeting his needs. She sent a lot of updates. Our pup came home very happy! Would not hesitate to book with Jane again!

Cathy was awesome with Poppy! It was our first time leaving her for over a week and Cathy made us feel so comfortable. She would send updates and pictures every day and spoiled her with lots of playtime and snuggles. We will definitely use Cathy again in the future!

Tyler did an incredible job taking care of our cat, who has a rather challenging personality. He was incredibly caring, patient, and created a comfortable environment for our cat to thrive in. He kept us informed multiple times a day through messages and shared amazing photos and videos. We completely relied on him, and he exceeded our expectations. Now that we’re planning to leave the city again, we know exactly who to call to board our cat.

Madison and Adam are the best sitters ever! They send plenty of pictures and Minnie got plenty of walks. They were flexible when I had to drop her off and pick her up a little after the original scheduled time due to flights. Minnie came back, so happy and energized. She had a mini vacation herself! I definitely recommend them to anyone.

This was Mango’s first Rover sitter and as a (possibly overly so) doting dog mom I was a little anxious. Lexi was fantastic, providing daily updates and pictures that really helped put me at ease. Mango, on the other hand, clearly had a great time and enjoyed her vacation thoroughly. I would absolutely book with Lexi again!

Megan and Alexandra are the BEST! I have reviewed them before but want to say again... first and foremost, our girls are safe, loved, spoiled and oh, so happy when they are with them. It puts this nervous Momma's mind and heart at ease. They are very flexible and communicative - and all around great people. We hope they will always want to take our girls!
Julie was wonderful as always! Murphy had the best time for the 2 weeks over the holidays with lots of videos, pictures, and updates. During the stay, Murphy had a senior moment but Julie took care of him no problem. She was also very flexible and communicative when my flight home was delayed 5 hours. Julie is dependable, experienced, and such a great pet companion. Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in KY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
