About: Hello! My name is Clarissa. I grew up on a 20 acre farm in Roy, which began my love of animals. I have one wonderful cat and a cattle dog husky mix. I am available weekends (usually all day) and after 4:30 pm weekdays. I work as a claims manager full time, but I am available after 4:30 pm weekday and on weekends and holidays that my office is closed (ex: Christmas, 4th of July, New Years) I care for pets in the clients home mostly, as my yard is not fenced. I am however, able to watch small, dog and cat friendly creatures in my home as long as they would not require a fenced yard.

About: I have had pets since I was born, and from age 5 I started to help withtheir care. I have always had a deep love for animals. I have had cats, dogs, guinea pigs, mice, rabbits, etc. I may not be a professional, however, I believe I am pretty knowledgeable about cats and dogs, their care, and some training. 3rd year in college, studying mathematics at WSU. I have had pets all my life back home and I lived them all sooo much. I am free most of days of the week in between my classes, good for drop ins and dog walks :) Lots of play, cuddle, excercise and attention. What ever the pet needs and wants, I try my best to fullfil. If they need to let out energy, let them play in the yard, if they need alone time, let them nap, etc. Lots of toys and enrichment activities, and lots of love.

I respect the pet’s usual environment to minimize stress and keep their schedule as normal as possible. I also make sure doors, windows, and any outdoor access points are secure at all times. For both settings, I focus on building trust by providing regular updates, photos, and clear communication. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and well-being, so I can quickly respond if anything seems unusual.
