With over 40 years of experience caring for pets, I bring a deep understanding and genuine respect for all animals. I currently have a senior dog, fish and chickens. Over the years I’ve cared for a wide variety of pets including dogs, cats, small rodents, fish, reptiles, birds, and even insects. I have experience caring for senior dogs, providing daily wound care, administering oral medication, and assisted potty breaks. I have worked with and rehabilitated rescue dogs who required 24-hour supervision, guiding them with gentle reassurance and love so they could learn to trust humans again and enjoy their new lives. I have experience with and am comfortable caring for dogs with chronic or lifelong medical conditions that require daily medication, ongoing monitoring, and a consistent routine. I understand that these dogs often need more than simply receiving their medication. They may require close observation and attention to changes in behavior, appetite, energy, bathroom habits, or other signs that something may be off. No matter your pet’s needs, you can feel confident they’ll be in capable hands while you are away, and that they’ll be happy and loved in my care.

Schedule
While I stay busy with community activities, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate focused time and attention to each pet in my care. I’m available most of the day and will follow your pet’s regular routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and happy.

- All new clients must schedule a Meet & Greet before finalizing a requested booking. During our meeting, I want to learn all about your pet, their routine, personality, needs, behaviors, and your expectations for their care. This is also your opportunity to ask me questions and learn more about how I care for pets. I want you to feel comfortable and confident in choosing me to care for your pet. A Meet & Greet usually takes about 30 minutes, though it may be longer depending on your pet’s needs. I’d love to learn about your pet’s likes and dislikes, daily routine, favorite toys, and how they prefer to receive affection. We’ll also go over any medical needs, special care instructions, fears, triggers, or behaviors I should be aware of. The more I know about your pet and what you expect from their care, the better I can care for them while you’re away. I also encourage you to bring any questions you have for me so we can make sure we’re a good fit for each other.
