About: I grew up surrounded by many animals. When I was 10 I had 4 guinea pigs, 2 dogs, 1 cat and stray farm cats. I spent time working on a farm with my family who taught me how to love and care for animals. I also pet sat throughout high school and later worked at a doggy daycare, gaining hands on experience with dogs of all ages and personalities. I love taking dogs on hikes and fun adventures while their pet parents are away. About: I’ve had dogs in my home since I was 12 years old. Growing up with pets taught me the responsibility it takes to care for each individual dogs needs and comfort. I have experience in dog sitting as well as dog fostering for the last 6 years. Currently pet sitting is something I do full time. I am a stay a home mom so I am home 24/7! I have a 18 month old daughter who loves animals and she is used to very large dogs. In the mornings I take my pups for a walk and come home to feed them breakfast. Throughout the day we play and take potty breaks every 2 hours or so. I have a fenced in backyard and an unfenced front yard. There is a dog park not far from my home, so we take walks there frequently. We end our night with dinner and one last play/potty break before bedtime. I live in a house in a gated community. I prefer meet and greets before booking. I have multiple water dishes throughout my home that are always full. I do not offer human food to dogs unless specifically told it’s okay by the owner, this is to avoid any issues with dogs that may have digestion problems. If your dog is crate trained and needs to be in a crate if nobody is home for a short period of time, please let me know before hand. All dogs MUST be child friendly as I do have a 18 month daughter myself, she is great with animals and is very used to larger breeds.

Brian did a wonderful meet and greet with my boys (two newfoundlands) and walked them today without me..that may seem like a strange thing to say but Byron (my younger boy) refuses to go on a walk for anyone but me - not even my husband! He was perfectly fine on going on the walk with Sinjin (my older boy) and Brian. No temper tantrums, no refusal to walk. NONE of it. Brian took them on a good walk, they had fun and their were no problems.”

I would definitely rebook if I need to and would recommend her to anyone! My dog isn’t the easiest to take care of mainly because he has separation anxiety from my wife and myself and she still was so gracious with him even after multiple difficult nights of him whimpering and whining. None of this is due to her ability to care for him he’s just very particular. Even still she communicated with kindness of how he was doing and kept me in the loop constantly. I’m grateful she was willing and so very capable of making my dog feel at home. If you are in need of dog care and she is available she is definitely worth trusting your dog with!”
“Monique was absolutely amazing! From the moment I dropped them off, I could tell they were in such good hands. She gave my pups, Willow and Muffin, lots of love and truly treated them like her own. It gave me so much comfort knowing they were cared for and loved while they were with her. She sent photos and updates throughout their stay a which was really reassuring!! She asked really thoughtful questions and I can tell that she could read my dog well. I really appreciate the time spent running my dog around the backyard and doing treat training.
