“Katie is dependable and a lifesaver for my little dog who loves his walks. I’ve referred her to my neighbor and I recommend hiring her for your dog.”

“Lauren did such a wonderful job! It was Dream’s first time getting walked by someone else since she left the shelter, and Lauren was able to help with her distress about being left after the walk! I will definitely be hiring Lauren again.”

“Tamara truly is such a pleasure to work with! I’ve used her for both walks and housesitting for my spoiled eight-year-old girl and each time is truly worth it. She always leaves everything so clean and tidy, sends great updates and is so flexible with my schedule. I always feel at ease, when Tamara’s taking care of of my furry angel.”

“I came across ugur when I injured my foot and needed someone to walk my pup. Kobi loves going on walks with him and I enjoy all the updates & rover cards that let me know how the walks went. Kobi always looks so happy 😇 Most recently we booked him for boarding, it was very last minute but Ugur was super flexible. Kobi and Kiwi got along great! He sent me frequent updates and that made me feel at ease because I haven’t had good experiences in the past. I highly recommend Ugur to anyone 😇”

“Emma has been a wonderful communicator from the drop! We had a short time frame before I needed help with my doggos so we weren’t able to meet up before walking my difficult children, but she was cool with that and I’m so thankful!! One of my dogs is very bad and I was transparent about that: Emma was up for the challenge and told me she loves my boys!! Super excited to rebook, recommend her highly! :)”

“Amazing dog walker. So friendly and very good at communicating. Our dog got a nice long walk and was very happy. I would recommend him every time!!”

About: I've had/taken care of dogs my whole life. My husband and I love dogs and have a big yard for them to run around in. We often dogsit for family and friends when they are out of town. We lost our fur baby a couple months ago due to old age and frankly we miss him and the energy he brought to our house. Your furbaby (or babies) would have a whole house to themselves and would have the full attention of a loving couple. We live in a great neighborhood for walks and have several parks nearby. Both my husband and I work full time jobs out of the house, but are never gone more than 8 hours at a time. Our routine with our recent furbaby would be walks and breakfast in the morning before work (around 8ish), a walk/play outside after work (around 4ish) and then a bathroom break outside before bed. On weekends we have more time to spend with your dog(s) We understand that every dog is special and has special needs! We are open to all care routines and any oddities your dog may have (we used to have to hide our trash can from our dog before leaving the house 😅). As long as you provide instructions, we feel confident managing any schedules, medical care, oddities, or routines. Your fur baby will be in a loving household that just misses having dogs around all the time.

About: If you're looking for someone to watch your pets while you're away, then look no further. I have been taking care of my own animals my whole life, and have sat for other people on numerous occasions. I have also assisted with much of the care and feeding of a dog and several cats over the years. I live in South St. Louis City, and I can only really work there or in areas near there, but if you live close to me you will never be without the help you need. I can stay in your house if you'd like me to, but I can't keep other people's pets in my house because I have a very nervous and shy cat who would be made uncomfortable by this and a crazy dog who might scare your pets. I repeat: I can stay in your house or I can just pop in and out to take care of your pets, but I cannot have outside animals stay in my home. I also walk dogs. The rates for that might be a little bit different, but I assure you they will still be affordable. I will be your pet's new best friend and your asset when you are in a pinch or are going somewhere and can't take care of them. I have loved animals since I was a child, and I rarely find one with which I don't get along. I don't have a job which will take me out of town frequently, so I can provide my services as long as they are needed. I look forward to meeting you and your adorable animal friends! I have availability on weekdays as well as weekends Message me and we can talk about scheduling a time for me to walk your dog I will make sure the animal gets whatever care they need I am not a vet though, so if your animal is sickly and/or old then I don't know how well I can care for them

About: I've been volunteering with my local animal shelters for the past 5 years, serving as both a short- and long-term foster parent. This has given me experience managing dogs with a very wide array of behavior and temperament ranging from extremely well-trained to pretty much feral! I love it. Before that, I was the go-to pet and house sitter in my neighborhood as a teenager for dog and cat (and plant) families. I'm currently doing part time work from home on my own schedule, so I am very flexible as to when I can accept clients - weekends, weekdays, overnight all work. Since I am currently renting I cannot look after other people's pets at my own place, but I am open to going most places in the Saint Louis region! Depending on your distance from me and frequency of care, I can either stay at your place or commute each time.

“Lara is great - she handles my large dog with ease - he can be leash reactive and that requires expertise. And she is consistent and timely and reliable. What else could you ask for?”

“Vivek is a nice man. He is always friendly with Josie, punctual and very responsible. He is accommodating to changes in schedules and from the pictures he shares, they seem to have a great time. Josie stands on 2 legs in anticipation looking for him . I highly recommend Vivek for walking your pup.”

“Stephanie was great with Marvin! Always on time, cheerful, and very easy to schedule with. Communicative about any issues and helpful in caring for my pup like he was her own. Thank you Stephanie!”

“Makenzie took my 9 mo old Samoyed Tyko out for an afternoon walk. Gave a full report and pictures. Oh and worked around a last minute schedule, thank you!”

About: I have been dog walking at the APA of Missouri every weekend from 12–2, gaining hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. I’m responsible, patient, and always make sure pets feel safe and cared for. I’m excited to bring that same care and attention to your dog! I’m a college student living in St. Louis for the summer with a very flexible schedule. I genuinely love caring for all animals and am available to start right away! I always make sure pets in my care feel safe, loved, and well-attended to. I now have a friendly, 1-year-old spayed female dog who gets along well with others. I provide a calm, quiet environment and follow any specific routines or instructions you provide. Pets in my home will get individual attention, and I’ll ensure they feel comfortable and cared for.

“Nancy was great. Took the time to understand the needs of our rescue pup. Left detailed report of their walk and encounter. Would definitely book again.”

About: I grew up with dogs and have been around them my whole. I have a calm and sensitive approach with dogs and am able to read their verbal and non verbal body language well, I am currently working full time schedule as a social worker in the community mental health field so I am mobile during the day but my schedule is flexible and I do my own scheduling, I have the ability to leave for break during day if needed. I have full availability after 3:30pm as well as on the weekends Establishing trust by letting the dog warm up and feel comfortable with me. Making sure to read the dog and when the dog wants to play/interact, when the dog wants space. I have a good ability to read when dogs have other needs that need to be met.

“Margaret did such a fantastic job walking Deacon while I was away! She provided excellent updates and was dependable. I would absolutely recommend her!”

“She’s great with my dog. Has lots of energy”

About: I am a volunteer dog walker at a local shelter so I have lots of experience with walking and handling all sorts of dogs. I have a 14 year old Husky mix and 6 year old Alaskan Husky. The older guy has slowed down and needs some more tender loving care these days, so I definitely have some special needs/senior experience. The 6 year old girl is very active and gets around 4 miles of walks each day. Seeing the joy on their faces when asked if they want to go for a walk melts my heart. I don't have cats, but I TNR'd four feral cats in the neighborhood and feed and interact with them every morning. In the past, I've also cared for friends' cats when they went out of town - feeding, cleaning litter box, etc. I have a remote sales job which allows me to be very flexible. I volunteer every Friday morning from 8AM-11AM which is the only time I'm not available on a weekly basis. When walking my own dogs (and the shelter dogs for that matter), I'm very cognizant of broken glass on the sidewalks, discarded food and trash, and any other obstacles that tend to come up in the city. I know every dog is different and make sure to follow directions given when walking your pup.

About: I have been doing in-house pet sitting for a little over a year now. l've cared for old, disabled dogs, kittens, and exotic pets! Friends and family have relied on me to care for multiple animals at once, taking their pets to the vet, checking them in and out of boarding, and much more. I love all pets I sit like they are my own! This summer, I’ll be teaching french and washing cars part time, but can make most times work during the week and weekend for in-house sitting, walks, drop-ins, and the like. I believe that pets are part of the family and they should be treated with love and respect just like any family member. I currently live with 2 cats that I love dearly. We are very lenient with our pets, but I think that boundaries are great especially for trouble makers.
