About: If you're looking for someone to watch your pets while you're away, then look no further. I have been taking care of my own animals my whole life, and have sat for other people on numerous occasions. I have also assisted with much of the care and feeding of a dog and several cats over the years. I live in South St. Louis City, and I can only really work there or in areas near there, but if you live close to me you will never be without the help you need. I can stay in your house if you'd like me to, but I can't keep other people's pets in my house because I have a very nervous and shy cat who would be made uncomfortable by this and a crazy dog who might scare your pets. I repeat: I can stay in your house or I can just pop in and out to take care of your pets, but I cannot have outside animals stay in my home. I also walk dogs. The rates for that might be a little bit different, but I assure you they will still be affordable. I will be your pet's new best friend and your asset when you are in a pinch or are going somewhere and can't take care of them. I have loved animals since I was a child, and I rarely find one with which I don't get along. I don't have a job which will take me out of town frequently, so I can provide my services as long as they are needed. I look forward to meeting you and your adorable animal friends! I have availability on weekdays as well as weekends Message me and we can talk about scheduling a time for me to walk your dog I will make sure the animal gets whatever care they need I am not a vet though, so if your animal is sickly and/or old then I don't know how well I can care for them

“Lauren did such a wonderful job! It was Dream’s first time getting walked by someone else since she left the shelter, and Lauren was able to help with her distress about being left after the walk! I will definitely be hiring Lauren again.”

About: I've had/taken care of dogs my whole life. My husband and I love dogs and have a big yard for them to run around in. We often dogsit for family and friends when they are out of town. We lost our fur baby a couple months ago due to old age and frankly we miss him and the energy he brought to our house. Your furbaby (or babies) would have a whole house to themselves and would have the full attention of a loving couple. We live in a great neighborhood for walks and have several parks nearby. Both my husband and I work full time jobs out of the house, but are never gone more than 8 hours at a time. Our routine with our recent furbaby would be walks and breakfast in the morning before work (around 8ish), a walk/play outside after work (around 4ish) and then a bathroom break outside before bed. On weekends we have more time to spend with your dog(s) We understand that every dog is special and has special needs! We are open to all care routines and any oddities your dog may have (we used to have to hide our trash can from our dog before leaving the house 😅). As long as you provide instructions, we feel confident managing any schedules, medical care, oddities, or routines. Your fur baby will be in a loving household that just misses having dogs around all the time.

“Emma has been a wonderful communicator from the drop! We had a short time frame before I needed help with my doggos so we weren’t able to meet up before walking my difficult children, but she was cool with that and I’m so thankful!! One of my dogs is very bad and I was transparent about that: Emma was up for the challenge and told me she loves my boys!! Super excited to rebook, recommend her highly! :)”

About: I am a lover of both cats and dogs. I have a lot of experience with additional needs even with my previous own pets, including an epileptic cat who requires pills twice a day, a senior dog with arthritis, allergies, and a sensitive tummy. I also have experience with high-anxiety/reactive pets or others who may have particular triggers that require extra care and attention. My current career is freelance copy editing, which means I can work on my laptop from anywhere, and the hours are incredibly flexible. This means that you get to set the schedule and requirements with no interference from my day-to-day life. While I can't care for pets in my own home, I'm happy to visit your home and provide simple and quick services like walks and feeding or more long-term companionship, staying to keep your pet company while you're away.

“Danielle was great! She arrived right on time and was very communicative and easy to get ahold of. she also took so many pictures which I loved! Would definitely recommend!”

About: Hello! My name is Nicki and I currently have two cats named Gertie and Sky. I rescued both of them when they were little kittens. They live like queens and are super active and not shy at all. Growing up I had multiple animals over the years. We had two horses, 3 dogs, cats, fish and birds. I’ve always treated my animals like family members because that is what they are. My dog passed away this past fall after 13 years of the best life ever. I love dogs and cats but especially with dogs I love to walk and run with them. My cat Gertie is fearless like a dog and walks on her leash about 3 houses down and then she is done. Ask me questions about how I can help you! I look forward to taking care of your pet! Dog walks and drop ins - wed 6am-1pm, thurs all day and weekends off House sitting weekends off. Can do a longer stay as long as advance is given and if I have to work we work out a mid day drop in! Contact me if you are unsure if it will work. I am flexible. I love the checklist care along with my normal instinct care. Just a easy list of amount of food, medicine or anything particular that needs to happen and then I will take care of the cuddles and care.

“Stephanie was great with Marvin! Always on time, cheerful, and very easy to schedule with. Communicative about any issues and helpful in caring for my pup like he was her own. Thank you Stephanie!”

“Jenn was amazing to my pup, Elton (and his little cat brother Balou)! She was extremely prompt and communicative and I never worried about my animals when they were in her care 🐾”

About: I have many years of experience working with animals in pet sitting and hospital settings. Ive worked with dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and special needs. I have experience administrating oral and injection type medications. Ever since I was little, I’ve grown up around animals of all sizes and absolutely love working with them! I was a student-athlete in undergrad so I live a very active lifestyle. Hyper dogs are no problem for me! (I have one myself!) I am a quick learner, very hard working, patient, and strong for my size. I am tidy, organized, and have good communication skills. I am currently in veterinary school so my availability is limited to when I am home for breaks. When home, my availability is pretty wide open :) I treat your pets like they are my own! Being away from your fur babies can be stressful on both of you. I’ll send pictures, keep you updated, and leave the house cleaner than I found it :)

“Thank you again for the thorough information on your time with Stella. We always love to read the updates and appreciate the great care you take.”
