I value balance and know how important movement and fresh air are, so taking a dog out for a walk or spending time engaging with them fits seamlessly into my day. When I’m studying, pets stay in a safe, calm environment where they can relax comfortably nearby. Being in a rigorous academic program has strengthened my time management skills, responsibility, and attentiveness — qualities that directly translate into providing reliable, consistent, and safe care for every dog I look after. Safety and trust are always my top priorities. In my home, pets stay in a clean, calm, and secure environment with constant supervision, scheduled walks, and plenty of attention. I maintain consistent routines for feeding, exercise, and rest to help them feel comfortable and stress-free. In a client’s home, I carefully follow all provided instructions, respect the space, and keep pets on their normal schedule to ensure stability. I’m attentive to behavior changes, mindful of surroundings on walks, and proactive about preventing any safety risks, so owners can feel confident their pets are protected and well cared for.

About: I have taken care of dogs of every kind since the age of 10. I've had multiple dogs and including senior dogs with special needs. I volunteer with an assistance dog training program, Duo Dogs, here in St. Louis. I have experience grooming dogs including my own and would be happy to brush and potentially bathe your dog, if desired. I currently have a 6-year- old female Pekingese former breeder who never lived in a house to adoption. She is super a sweet and excellent with other dogs. I am available for pet sitting and doggy daycare Monday through Friday. I work from home on Monday and Friday and off work on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. On Saturday and Sunday I work in the office from 3:00 p.m. until 11:30, so if your dog is able to be left alone for 9 hours then Saturday and Sunday could be available. I have a fenced patio and two small dogs. I can accommodate any size well-behaved dog that is friendly with other dogs. I can accommodate crates as well and I can crate my dogs if needed. I live in the city proper and walk my dogs to do their business and can do the same for yours individually or they can potty in the raised garden bed in the patio. Typically my dogs have their crates with the doors open so they can come and go at their leisure. I do have hardwood floors and some area rugs but have other mats I can put down if your dog needs more traction.

About: I’ve grown up around animals of all kinds, including dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, pigs, sheep, and cows, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I currently have a dog named Sharon, whom I originally fostered along with her five puppies for eight weeks - an experience that gave me plenty of hands on experience caring for puppies and dogs with different needs and personalities. Many of my closest friendships were built around our shared love of dogs, and we’ve regularly helped care for each other’s pets over the years. I’ve hosted dogs in my own home, as well as stayed in clients’ homes to care for elderly dogs who needed extra attention, patience, and comfort. I genuinely enjoy making pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. Currently working from home so I will be a constant presence throughout the day. This also allows me to take your dog for as many walks as needed or any other specific services required. I have one dog who is usually a couch potato and sleeps all day. She is very dog friendly in all aspects. I have a fenced in backyard and a doggy door so they have full access. Toys and treats are available (if allowed)! Happy to follow any and all instructions.

Your dog will also have fun hanging out with my friendly pup, and I’ll keep you updated with plenty of pics so you never have to worry! I currently have a very open schedule, which means I’m fully available for drop-in visits, playtime, and walks. I'm happy to work around your pet’s routine. Please note: For doggy day care that extends beyond 8 hours, there is an extra charge of $5 per every additional hour. Safety is super important to me! I have a fully fenced yard where your dog can run around and play safely. I always keep an eye on them during outdoor time to make sure everyone’s having fun and staying secure. I always follow feeding and medication instructions exactly, and ensure pets have fresh water. I also pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and comfort level, keeping them safe and calm whether we’re on a walk or spending time inside. Please note: I do care for dogs from multiple families at the same time during boarding and daycare. I make sure all dogs are friendly and safe around others, and everyone gets plenty of love and attention. If your dog isn’t comfortable being around other dogs please be mindful before booking with me.
