About: Always the go-to dog sitters for friends and family. We decided to share the love and extend that same love and care for your pet. Work from home spouses that have extra time and attention (and cuddles) for your dog(s). Homebodies that are home pretty much every day, night, and weekend. Secure and fenced in yard (tall wood slats without gaps) that will keep your pets in and others out. No pet owners on either side of the yard. Security cameras have full view of yard and gates. The doggie domain is a large room with a big, comfy, inviting couch and carpet to lounge on with access to the back yard from the room.

“My dog Taku and I relocated here from Michigan recently. We have no family or friends here in Illinois. I was so stressed and anxious on what I will do with Taku while I’m at work or a long day or long weekend. Taku has separation anxiety where if he’s left alone, he will cry and bark the whole entire time. Then I found Jeena on Rover! She was so accommodating! She allowed Taku and I to come meet her and her cats to see if they all got along, before we booked her for a half day of day care. Taku did really well at her place! About: I grew up in a family that considered our pets members of our family! Dogs big and small, multiple cats, critters, puppies, kittens, senior and special needs pets - I’ve taken care of them all. I specialize in keeping their schedule as normal as possible for them by keeping them busy and happy until you return. Taking care of pets works well for me because have a very flexible work schedule. I work as a substitute teacher and pick my own days to be in the classroom. I also teach Irish dance and music lessons during weekday afternoons at a studio 5min away from my house. So it’s very easy for me to arrange pet care duties around other commitments. My partner also works from his home office and has a flexible work schedule, so there is often at least one adult at home most hours of the day during the week. Having two people available helps keep the pets that stay in our home on a schedule close to their normal routines. Our house is a corner lot with a 6ft wooden enclosed fence yard. We only let dogs out in the yard off-leash if we are in the yard as well. Otherwise we keep dogs on leashes outside the house. We allow pets full access to the main floor, upstairs rooms and on the furniture as appropriate. We stick to each pet’s feeding and walking schedule as closely as possible. We often offer neighborhood walks throughout each day. We also do trails and paths throughout local parks including Forest Park, Wilmore Park and Tower Grove Park as appropriate.
