Must Love Dogs: Check
I've had dogs all my life. I've had one wild child Brittany (Amber), one very laidback retired yorkshire terrier breeder who lived to 18 (Ginger), and one stray who unfortunately developed an aggressive cancer and only got a few months with us (Basmati). We now have two young retired breeder and show dogs (Shauna and Shalee/Melon) who are bundles of fun and used to way more dog action than our quiet house but can also be ecstatic to lay about. I work from home, so I'm around almost constantly and can thus provide a lot of attention to fur babies. I love just about any dog I've ever met. I'd love to take care of your dog!

Ruthie took great care of my senior dog - would definitely have my dog stay with her again.

Ruthie was AWESOME with my nervous doggie and her two doggies were awesome with him. Ruthie was patient, kind, loving and super with me. I was most likely more nervous than my dog. We had a great play date before hand and my dog was happy when he left Ruthie's caring arms. Thank you Ruthie!
Ruthie went above and beyond to alleviate my fears and make sure my little old man was well cared for on my trip away. Even with all his meds and special feeding instructions, she had no issues and my lil man seemed super content with her fur babies and hubby. I would gladly use her again. I know he is in the best of hands.

Ruthie is very dependable and is always willing to go above and beyond for my best buddy. She is the best!

Ruthie was amazing! We were traveling through St. Louis for the day.. she was able accommodate us last minute to take care of our elderly Batman. Highly recommended, close to all the activities in town.

Ruthie was quick to reply and great with the dogs. She watched Stella and Brodie over night and took excellent care of them. Would be happy to use her again in the future!

I work from home regularly and my schedule is very flexible with my other work so doing whatever animals in my care need comes first, then other business. Ginger is one of my great loves and closest companion so I like treat other dogs in kind. I am available for new clients with constant care needs from my home at a higher rate per day as it is prohibitive with other work. Please understand I may leave for up to 4 hours in a day for other pets or to run errands unless we explicitly discuss otherwise. I try to be away from boarders as little as possible.

Safety and wellbeing are my primary concern in any scenario: I’m very risk averse in pet care. Since I watch up to 4 total (counting Ginger) and walk up to 5 at a time, pets under my care must like or be ambivalent toward dogs generally: generalized aggression just doesn’t tend to work with my setup because dogs are usually in shared spaces most of the day. I try to balance the personality and needs of everyone in my care at a given time. Walks and drop-ins must be within a mile of my home.

Un día normal
To me one of the biggest benefits of this industry is that my daily routine changes based on the needs of the dogs in my care. My regular day involves potty breaks every 2 to 4 hours, many times with at least a short walk but every day is truly dependent on the general need of the collective group and then individual needs. I have one frequent daycare dog, for instance, who loves to pull every toy out of a toy box and play with all of them so I've built a maze to keep her occupied and entertained on days she's here given, of course, that no other dogs I'm watching can't have toys around.
