DOGS WANTED 💕
My soul dog and best friend of 13 years crossed the rainbow bridge on 12/26/25. I am absolutely heartbroken and can’t bear to remove everything I’ve written about her from my profile, nor can I bring myself to delete the photos; all I’ve done is remove her from “my pets”. So everything I’ve written below is still relevant minus everything about Katie. Thanks for understanding. ♥️ *UPDATE* I rescued a 14-week old pup a couple days after my best girl passed. His name is Arthur; he is 6 months old as of March 2026. He’s a very sweet boy and LOVES other dogs. I thought he was mostly border collie (he looks like it), but a DNA test showed he’s mostly blue heeler and Great Pyrenees with some border collie and Australian shepherd as well. Right now he’s ~35 pounds and I have no idea how big he will be lol. Hi! I would love to meet and look after your fur babes! Dogs are my saving grace, and I absolutely adore them. ! I have a once-high-energy/maintenance, now 13-year-old Australian shepherd (Katie) I’ve raised since she was about 9 months, so I’m very familiar with high energy dogs and their socialization and exercise needs! I’m also familiar with medication administration, both oral meds and injectables (I’m a nurse and a type 1 diabetic, and my dog takes meds everyday). Your fur babies are in good hands!! On walks, I let Katie go about half a mile (very slow), and then I have her get in her dog stroller. She just lays down and we continue our walk/stroll. I’ve got water, a bowl, treats, and poop bags all in the back. So if your dog is elderly and would enjoy/benefit from a stroll, or can only go short distances, I’ve got you covered! ☺️

Monica takes such good care of Greta, making sure she gets her walks in and some good play time. Greta came home so happy (and tired).
Monica loves dogs. She has her own fur baby who she loves dearly and is good with other dogs. Monica is attentive and sensitive to each dog's needs. Her home is clean and her enclosed backyard provides room for the pets to play.

Schedule
Every day I work hard to maintain a consistent environment for my dog and make sure her needs are met. This includes feeding twice a day at scheduled times, administering daily meds at scheduled times, going on one to two walks per day (morning and afternoon/evening ), filling up the dog pool a few times/week, intermittent grooming, playing with plenty of squeaky toys and balls, meeting up with other dogs for socialization, and plenty plenty plentyyy of snuggles. 🥹♥️

Safety, trust & environment
As far as overnights go, I prefer to care for your animals in my own home as I’m a diabetic and have all the essentials here. I have a fenced yard and my home is very clean; I’m also willing to do pickup/dropoff for an extra fee). I do understand, however, that not all environments are comfortable for all dogs, so I can stay at your house if necessary! (Bonus points if I can bring my dog along!) In my home, animals are allowed on the furniture and in the bed. My bed is super low to the ground so my senior girl can get up there easily without injuring herself. If I am at your house and animals are not allowed on your furniture, I can respect that! You’ll just find me on the floor with them 🤣

A typical day
When it’s not 90°outside there are lots of walks involved (rain or shine!) I live right by tower grove park, and my dog and I are regulars. We like to hit up the weekly farmers markets too—my girl loves to socialize and lay in the fountain! I’ve got an XL dog pool in my fenced in backyard, and the pups love it! There are no less than 75 dog toys in this household, and your dogs will definitely be entertained. 😅
