1. Emily B.

“Best Rover experience ever! Emily treats our pup as her own, lavishing them with fun excursions, pup cups, and even practicing commands. I feel so much peace knowing I can rely on Emily and Sean to look after my fur baby, and our pup is always excited to visit her friend and surrogate family!”

2. Matt M.

“Matt is amazing !! I moved to Richmond for work for 13 weeks and he has made my life easier taking care of my 1 year old puppy, Paige. His dog, Cooper is super super sweet. And Paige comes home exhausted from all the fun she has had ! Very grateful for Matt’s help”

3. Hilary R.

“Very accommodating and good communication!”

4. Myrna C.

“Myrna was fantastic. She has a pool for all the doggies. She sent photos and communited throughout Starbuck's stay. Starbuck had such a great time that when we picked her up she didn't want to leave. We will definitely be using Myrna again!”

5. Julie W.

“This was Luna’s first day with Julie. She was happy when I picked her up and seemed to enjoy herself. We have another day scheduled in a week.”

6. Katelynn R.

“This was our first time leaving our 1-year-old dog with someone outside of the family since we got him. Katelynn was awesome with Zeus and was great with him from the very start! He typically is very scared of new people and refuses to leave our side but she made him feel comfortable and safe from the start! She kept us up to date throughout the day which made us feel safe. We will definitely have Zeus stay with her next time, she was wonderful and I would highly recommend her!”

7. Caitlin S.

“Thank you so much for walking butch today and being our new doggy daycare person!”

8. Tyler H.

“I can’t possibly say enough good things about Tyler and the amazing care she took of our pupper. She’s the best.”

9. Nicholas P.

“Reese's stay was amazing with Nicholas and his pup! Our girl is high energy and came home tired and happy. We got pictures of her having her best day both outside playing and inside napping, which we appreciated on this hot summer day. We will definitely be repeat customers. Thank you!”

10. Talia C.

“Talia and Yuno took great care of my little floof Auggie! Great communication and he had the best day! Highly recommend!!!”

11. Ross & Ava T.

“Despite the late request, Ross answered very quickly and was able to arrange a brief meeting the same night for Murdoch and his dog to meet. The day after, we left Murdoch with Ross and Ava and everything went monthly with a few pictures of Murdoch's day. I recommend Ross and Ava !”

12. Kat R.

“First time using Rover and Kat was the best sitter for my dog! Clearly very experienced with dogs and cares well for the ones she watches. Kept me reassured throughout the day with cute photos of my dog and her awesome dog, Luna, having fun. Will definitely use her again in the future!”

13. Victoria P.
About: I’ve lived with and taken care of dogs for the last four years. I started fostering dogs in 2022, and adopted a puppy of my own last winter. I’ve worked with severely traumatized and scared dogs and am also comfortable walking energetic puppies. Happy to help :). I am unfortunately allergic to cats. I’m a therapist in Richmond, but am currently between jobs and have a very flexible schedule at the moment! I’m looking forward to connecting :) I have a German shepherd / Siberian husky mix who has endless energy. We spend a lot of time walking, running, hanging at the dog park or fields where she can run and sniff to her hearts content. Happy to do the same with your pup. Comfortable providing medication and keeping your routine going while you’re away.

14. Ethel V.

“This was Deuce (my Yorkie’s) first dog care experience and it was a successful. Ethel was a great communicator and made this a great experience. Although this was the first time, it certainly will not be the last! Thank you Ethel!”

15. Charlotte R.

“Thanks for taking great care of Suki!”

16. Kyla B.
“Kyla was absolutely amazing with my Maltese, Jasper! She provided daily photos and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She was incredibly responsive and kept me updated every step of the way. When I had an unexpected emergency and needed her to watch Jasper for a few extra days, she didn’t hesitate to accommodate me. It’s clear she is an experienced and caring pet owner, and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to care for my pup. I highly recommend Kyla to anyone looking for a reliable, loving pet sitter!”

17. Nahima V.

“We loved having Nahima care for Jasper. She was great at communicating with me about Jasper and was flexible with pick and drop off times. Jasper came back so happy! We’d be thrilled to have Nahima care for Jasper again!”

About: We’re a pet-loving household with lots of experience caring for both cats and dogs. My husband and I both work full-time remotely as graphic designers, so we’re home most of the time and love spending our breaks and off-hours hanging with animals. We’ve both grown up with pets and currently care for our cat Gail and our sweet dog Cosmo. We also frequently watch our friends' and family’s pets—whether that means daily walks, drop-in visits, or weekend hangs. We live in the Stratford Hills neighborhood of Richmond and are happy to offer dog boarding in our home. We have a spacious, fully fenced-in yard that’s perfect for dogs to run and play. Your pet will get plenty of attention, outdoor time, and cuddles throughout the day. We’re always happy to accommodate special requests and will absolutely keep you updated with pictures and notes while you’re away so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands. My husband JD and I are graphic designers who work from home. We have flexible schedules, which makes it easy for us to manage potty breaks, playtime, and quality time with our furry visitors throughout the day. We have a fully fenced-in yard and always supervise our dog and any visiting pets while they’re outside. No pets are ever left unattended outdoors at any time.

19. Heather V.
“Heather was great!! My golden loved staying with her and she provided updates and pictures throughout his stay. She was very flexible and accommodating for pick up and drop off as well. She was very prompt to respond and very accommodating! 10/10 recommend!”

20. Noel D.
About: I absolutely love dogs! I grew up on a small farm with four dogs of my own and have been taking care of them for as long as I remember. I have watched many different dogs of all shapes and sizes. I have administered medicine to diabetic dogs as well as numerous medications. I love hiking and the outdoors, and love bringing a pup along with me. Animals have always seemed to love me and I plan on getting a degree to eventually become a vet. Nurturing and caring for animals is not just a side job for me its my passion! Not only will I ensure your best friend gets the exercise they need but the love, attention, and affection they deserve as well.
