Please ask to see my Trusted HouseSitter profile for additional reviews and information! I provide pet care in Richmond and Charlottesville and the surrounding areas, though I am also happy to travel to other states with advanced notice. I have a breadth of experience caring for my former pets and my home, as well as house and pet sitting for friends and for my clients. I grew up on a farm and cared for goats, horses, cows, dogs, cats, sheep, and poultry. I make an excellent house/petsitter due to my experience with and love for animals and my tidy and loving personality! ** I charge $45 / night for 1-6 night house stays, but have a sliding scale for longer sits (negotiable at the time of request). I am open to traveling farther distances for 1+ week sits.

Charlotte was absolutely a perfect choice to leave our hounds and old man pup with! You can tell that they were very well loved on by her and that she took great care of them. We appreciate her patience and communication with us and would absolutely work with her again. She took great care of our home and went as far as washing all our bedding before we came home too. Charlotte is the absolute best. My dog is obsessed with her! She went above and beyond to make sure I had great updates & took my baby to the vet when she wasn’t feeling well. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Charlotte was SO amazing to have as a dog sitter. She communicated very consistently with updates, photos, and videos so I never wondered what or how my girl was doing. I felt very comfortable leaving her with Charlotte and knew she would be well taken care of from the minute I met her. And I know my dog had fun too! Charlotte ended up taking her to her house and my pup had a fun filled weekend with her puppies and was absolutely beat when we got home (she’s never tired lol). Will absolutely book again and plan to have some puppy play dates in the meantime!!

Dates de la garde
I am attending VCU for my MSW M-F from 8-4, so I have limited availability for midday potty breaks/check-ins during the week, but I have open availability most evenings and weekends. For boarding requests, my partner works from my home and is available to offer potty breaks/check-ins for pets while I’m at school. I’m happy with staying overnight for housesitting or sharing my home for boarding!

I love taking dogs out for walks and playing with dogs and cats indoors and cuddling with them on the couch! I’ve found I definitely connect the most with animals that love to cuddle
