About: I've never not had animals in my life! I spent my early years on a working farm and have always had a way with animals. Dogs love me (cats, too!) and I them ❤️ I have many years of experience in the veterinary field and know what to do in emergencies. I am currently working part time and my schedule is flexible. I do work away from home for 5-8 hours a day, split shift. I have dogs amd cats but can keep them separate, if necessary. My dogs are dog friendly, although my beagle mix is very bossy (typical!) Dogs will be in the house with my dogs, but they can be separated, if needed. I can crate, if the parents supply the crate. Dogs will be leash walked in the wide front yard but we can also go across the street to the dog park, too!
About: As a child, I had a small dog named Nike! She was the cutest little Shih Tzu. Having her at a young age taught me responsibility first and foremost, but it also taught me how to appreciate and be patient with animals. “Stacey was the ultimate sitter and I couldn't have asked for a better first experience with Rover! She scheduled time for our dogs to meet in a public area first followed by a tour of her home and yard where Sebastian would be staying. I received photos of how much fun he was having while on my trip, and to be honest I bet he's looking forward to his next stay, what with having a four legged buddy and a wrap-around, fenced-in yard for unlimited zoomies. Both my dogs (age 7 & 6) had NEVER been boarded or kenneled before, so I was nervous that they'd be anxious and upset, but they came home absolutely happy and contented after staying with her. She was kind enough to provide twice-daily feedback about their walks, sleep schedule, and general wellbeing, and that helped me relax and enjoy myself. My dogs sleep on the bed at home, and I chose Emily because she was going to be with them at night and because she has so many repeat customers; that tells me all I need to know! About: I have always taken care of other family’s animals and I am very passionate about giving your furry friend a safe, loving and comfortable environment! I currently work for VCU as a certified medical assistant full time. I am working Monday through Friday from 8-4:30. I am very active and open to taking long walks after work or anytime on weekends. My home is safe for every animal. I have one cat who is just one year old and loves being around other cats and dogs. My cat is up to date on all vaccines and is only indoor.
