About: Hello there! I am a dog groomer here in Sacramento. We've had dogs and cats in my family since I was young, and I've always taken care of them with a lot of love. I worked at a doggy daycare for 1.5 years and i loved spending time, teaching basic commands and playing with all different kinds of pups! I also help my friends with their dogs, and I even can help with grooming or some simple training. I can do visits to feed and take care pets during the day, and overnights and stays for dogs and cats who needed lots of company! Not available early mornings. I can do overnights too and I can exercise with your pup! (Runs, long walks and hikes). I regularly care for two large female German Shepherds who keep me active with their daily walks, feeding routines, and plenty of love. I also dogsit a German Shepherd/Rottweiler puppy, so I’m no stranger to puppy energy, training consistency, and playtime. They are on a set schedule so usually when i wake up they get fed, and taken outside and are able to wander around until i leave. Then upon arrival I usually feed them and take them outside and get them a bit of exercise and enrichment! For my clients home, I do like to stick to the schedule the dog is used to just so the owner isn’t inconvenienced with a fussy/sad dog when they are no longer in my care. I still like to enrich the pets with food mazes or toys that require a bit more thinking power!

About: I am 19 years old doing this so I can make some extra money on and currently take care of my older brother, who has autism, which has taught me how to remain composed, aware, and reliable in all situations. Those skills are easily applied to pet care, particularly with nervous, timid, or sensitive animals. For example, my own dog has depression anxiety which I make sure to tend to quickly! I can easily fit time with your lovely pets into my daily schedule. I'm free any time after 11AM because I get my brother on the bus at around nine in the morning. Since I'm still learning how to drive, I typically take the bus, train, or Uber to get around. The only thing I know is that I might have to wait until about 5 PM for my mom to return if she works overtime on a Friday, but that rarely ever happens. There is a chance that my schedule can improve so make sure to keep an eye out! I treat every pet under my care as if they were a member of my own family. Making them feel secure, understood, and loved is always my top priority. By feeding them on time, taking them for walks or play, and making sure they receive lots of attention and are comfortable, I try to keep things as simple as possible. Let me tell you a little about how I would be a great fit to care for your family companion while you are out of town! I have been around animals my entire life. I have owned rats, birds, reptiles, cats, dogs, and horses. I also foster for the local animal shelter, specializing in weight loss, senior animals and neonatals (bottle babies). I have worked in the veterinary field for 5 years as a technician and have experience medicating pets whether they are on a daily pill (or several) or injections. I now work full time from home, so I will be home with your dog all day, unless errands are needing to be done. Have a timid fur baby? You can feel at ease when your pet is with me. I take my time in gaining your pets trust. I am experienced in reading animal behavior and don't push them if they feel uncomfortable. I find ways that interest your pet to feel more comfortable with me, whether it be just sitting in a room on the floor and letting them approach me, offering treats (but not overdoing the treats), if they are dog friendly, I will introduce them to my dogs so they can see that I am not "big and scary." I have a large fenced in backyard for them to run around in, play fetch, or just bask in the sun. They will have their very own bedroom at night to sleep in with a kennel and a bed. If your have an extra large dog, they would be welcome sleeping in the bedroom with us at the foot of the bed. I am very flexible when it comes to making sure your pet is comfortable and feels at home and safe while they stay with me. If you're looking for someone to take your pet on daily walks, I research the area around where you are and find local parks, animal friendly cafes/restaurants or even local trails nearby! Your baby will be sure to get lots of exercise and socialization on our outings! I have both cats and dogs, but have no worry if your pet needs to be "the one and only," I can safely keep them separate so everyone is safe and happy. I have a large fenced in backyard that is checked before each pup is dropped off. They are never left out longer than they want. Pets are crate rotated throughout the day if I have dogs that may not play well with others. All medium-large dogs are crated at night. Bedtime is usually between 8-10pm

About: I grew up with dogs my entire life, including raising several litters of chihuahua puppies. I’ve watched every family dog and pup grow up, and took care of them from birth to old age. When I'm home, I may walk your dog (depending on the weather), will dedicate time to play with them, and give them lots of wholehearted love and treats. I have a spacious home for dogs to run around and play with an equally spacious backyard. I also live in a safe neighborhood. I currently work full-time and hybrid, and my partner works fully remotely so your dog will always be in good company! First thing I do in the morning is feed your fur baby, let them outside to go to the bathroom, and take them on a walk. Once we return from the walk, Leia typically likes to play with your fur baby for hours, but also knows when to give others space when needed. Once playtime is over, the doggies tend to nap for nearly the same amount of time. I feed your dogs additional organic treats that we have, unless you'd prefer I don't or if they have allergies. Doggies are allowed on the furniture (with a throw blanket on top) for extra snuggles, warmth and comfort. After work, I will take your dog for another walk around the neighborhood and then feed them again. I please ask that you bring your dog’s bed so they have their own space when they need to take it. I have a fenced backyard so your dog can go to the bathroom and soak in the sun anytime. My partner and I also take the dogs to the park everyday after work and let them run around and play.

About: My first pet was a blue nose pitbull at 14. Since then i have taken care of doodles and labradors. I am very energetic and enthusiastic. I also pay attention to detail and notice if they’re presenting any behaviors outside of their norm.
