About: I grew up on a farm with all kinds of animals and I’ve never not had a dog! I currently have a 6 year old golden doodle named Ruby that is my pride and joy. I work part time as a nurse, but when I’m not at work I’m hanging out with ruby- which is a lot more enjoyable. My husband, Thomas, works from home and has been my dog-sitting partner in crime! Between the two of us, our furry visitors are rarely lonely. We provide lots of pets, play time, walks, and cuddles. We have a yard, large dog crates if needed, doggie swimming pool, and lots of furniture for the four legged friends to sit on! I work 1-2 days a week and have full availability the other days. Unfortunately, these days change every week, but I usually have my schedule for a month in advance. I live in a house on a couple acres that is surrounded by trees, so there are lots of little critters to look at from the front porch! my dog and i spend a lot of time outdoors, whether we are going to the beach or on walks.

About: I absolutely love animals and have been taking care of pets since i was about 10 years old! I have experience with all types of dogs, from seniors to young puppies through working with rescues and I have had over 10 foster dogs who I have helped to find homes. I have also aided in training for rescue dogs of all different backgrounds, including issues with separation, anxiety, crate, potty, and obedience training. Outside of the rescue I also have regular pet sitting clients whose pups I have watched for over 5 years and absolutely love! I also have volunteered with Cats Angels in Fernandina Beach and have experience fostering litters of kittens and stray cats. I am back on Amelia Island for the summer but during the school year I attend Florida State University where I am actively involved in the dog rescue Champ’s Chance and it has taught me so much about working with all types and personalities of pups! I am currently working part time and my only set hours are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8am to 12pm, outside of those hours my time is free to be spent with your pets! I am very active and love to go for walks or runs if that is something your pup would like to join me in (usually in the early morning or evenings to avoid that Florida heat!). I have reliable transportation and love to spend time petting, playing, and just lounging around with any animal. I am able to care for pets in their home however needed! I have experience with a variety of medical needs and activity levels, and can do frequent visits, park outings, or stay in your home if that’s what you and your pet are most comfortable with.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have cared for pets belonging to family, friends, and neighbors over the years. Through those experiences I’ve learned that every dog has a different personality, routine, and comfort level, and I always try to make them feel safe and at home. I’ve also cared for senior dogs, including administering injectable medication to my own dog when she became diabetic, which taught me patience, attention to detail, and the importance of following care instructions carefully. Whether your dog is energetic or prefers a quiet environment, I’ll provide attentive care, regular walks, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of updates so you can feel confident while you’re away. My schedule allows me to provide pets with plenty of attention throughout the day, so they won’t spend long periods alone. I plan my schedule around each booking to maintain your pet’s normal routine, including feeding times, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and rest. I believe consistency helps dogs feel comfortable, especially when they’re away from home, and I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages during their stay. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a clean, calm, and organized home where every pet receives individual attention. Before each stay, I take time to learn your pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs so I can provide the best possible care. Since I don’t have a fenced yard, every walk and potty break is supervised, and I never leave pets outside unattended. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay so you always know how they’re doing.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and currently have two dogs, Maggie and Noodle, and 4 cats, Muffin, Opa, Mittens and ophelia! I’ve also helped take in and care for stray animals, making sure they’re safe, fed, and loved. About: My dogs and I have been through AKC certified obedience training I'm experienced in walking multiple dogs at a time Can housesit and care for dogs with special needs Providing positive reinforcement and tasty bribes is my main method of gaining trust with a new dog friend. I'm open to meeting and discussing all forms of service ahead of time I have a flexible part time job that is generally from 9 - 4 Monday through Friday. These times are flexible so if you have a question about a particular day feel free to ask My 2 dogs and I walk almost everyday around our neighborhood just to get some adventure and smell some new fire hydrants. My house has a wood 6' privacy fence around the backyard and I have time to them out 5 or 6 times a day for bathroom breaks or to just run around an play. My dogs started being crate trained as a puppy but as they have grown older and more trusty we use them less and less. I use a lot of positive reinforcement and treat training to bond and build rapport. I feel comfortable around dogs of all shapes and sizes and would prefer to take care of new dogs in their home environment first. My dogs: I have a 6 year old 60lb female Portuguese water dog -- She's a big napper, cuddler and loves cats. My 3 year old, 30lb, male terrier mix is the feisty play pal that keeps everyone entertained.

About: Hi!! My name is Ella! I graduated from Clemson University this past spring and moved to Fernandina recently! I love all animals and have always had dogs growing up. (Labrador Retrievers and Boykin Spaniels) I am experienced with caring for animals of all ages and am dedicated to making sure each pet feels loved and taken care of in their own home. I have cared for animals ranging from small poodle mixes of about 8 pounds to large golden doodles that weigh 80 pounds. I can’t wait to meet your pets! The dogs in my pictures are either the ones I have grown up with or the ones I have recently taken care of. I currently have a part time job so I will have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I will be available for check-ins, walks and overall care. I have the most availability in mornings and afternoons! I will not be doing overnight stays at my own residence but will be diligent, caring and attentive in taking care of pets in their own homes!
