She gave me tips and advice on how to continue training my pup. I received pictures through out his stay.”

“Megan & Nick were absolutely stellar dog sitters. They answered all my questions and accommodated a rushed request for both the booking and a meet and greet. They were extremely communicative throughout the whole process and put a new dog dad at ease. I would remiss to leave out the lovable Bubba, who was a most gracious host, sharing his toys and his space. He and Rigby were fast friends. The whole family was lovely, clearly dog lovers. Looking forward to booking with them again soon!”

About: I'm Anthony. I am a native Jersey Boy and I love animals (especially dogs). I currently do not have a dog. I am in the process of applying to volunteer at a local animal shelter, and have decided to also sign up for Rover to [word] my love for animals. I grew up with both small (yorkies, Maltese's, silkies, and Pomeranians) and large dogs (Boxers). I am particularly fond of small lap dogs and I have owned 3 Pomeranians myself (Bear, Lionel, & Samson!). I am a very responsible pet-owner and sitter who works remotely at a large hospital in NYC. My experience with small dogs is extensive. I've had no problem waking up in the middle of the night raising my puppies and feeding them to prevent hypoglycemia. I've also trained dogs to use both pee pads and to go potty outdoors (a feat that was very impressive to several Veterinarians!). And, as a marathoner, I enjoy walking, jogging, and running with all dogs or an energetic play session in my apartment. Additionally, as a previous owner of pure-bred dogs, I am familiar with breed specific medical conditions and as a healthcare worker am well equipped to administer medication and monitor health concerns and/or issues. For larger dogs, as I am a runner, I enjoy tiring them out (if okay with the owner). I grew up leash training out boxers to jog alongside me. I lead a very active lifestyle, and am a fan of including dogs in the lifestyle (if okay with the owner). As Westfield is a very walkable city, I enjoy taking doggos to coffee shops or dinner al fresco. I work from home 100%. I am a Manager for an NYC Hospital and work 9am - 5pm. I am very active (early morning runs, late evening runs) and am well-equipped to tend and care for dogs with my full attention. We live in an apartment with no other pets and we are fine accommodating your dog's permanent home environment and routine. We have a crate and dog gates.

I am currently working from home so I am available to walk, board or visit your pets any time and can assure you that they will feel very loved! My number one priority is that pets and clients feel safe with me. I am an honest, and trustworthy person. In your home, I will follow directions and respect boundaries to ensure every service provided is a great experience for you and your bundle of joy! Walks will be taken in the neighborhood and visits in-house will only be limited to rooms given permission to be in.

“Lina seemed to have a good time at Lisa's. Lisa provided lots of TLC, and we really appreciated it especially since it was her first day. Looking forward to her staying the weekend. Thank you!”

“Margarita was absolutely amazing! She took great care of my pup, Ari, who has separation anxiety. She was so thoughtful and immediately took Ari on a walk when I dropped him off so he'd get familiar with her before she brought him into a foreign home and introduced him to her dog. She took him on several walks, and he was so happy and relaxed when he came back. Margarita is so sweet, responsive, and flexible. I would definitely trust Margarita again to look after Ari.”

For the more adventurous, I offer off-leash walks to ensure your energetic dog gets the exercise and freedom they deserve. * Medical Expertise - having cared for a diabetic dog, I am proficient at administering insulin shots. * Training - while I am not a professional dog trainer, I have trained my dogs and am currently working on agility training too. * Special Needs - if you have special needs or requests, I am happy to accomodate your wishes. I am home all day and evening and I have a very flexible schedule. I was laid off from my job and so have tons of time to be with your fury friend. I am currently working to build out a PT consulting business along with my dog care business. I have one dog at home. While I do not have a fenced yard, I have a large yard (1 acre) and plenty of room to play ball, frisbee, or just roam around. I live in a quite safe neighborhood and take my dog for long walks. I have a car and can pick up your dog or take your dog to a dog park, or for off-leash walks if you prefer that.

About: I've been caring for small pets such as, Hamsters, Guinea-pigs and Fish (from goldfish, etc. to Oscars, etc.) from a very young age. Therein, for example, when I was still a little girl, my friend and neighbor could no longer care for their beloved, hamster, Andy; who did they think of... me ! So, Andy, the hamster was adopted and added to the fold. Next, Cats and Dogs. When my neighbor found a stray cat had given birth in their shed closet, again, who did they call?! I adopted one of the 3 kittens; adopting their sibling from the same liter soon after the first adoptee, was unable to care for it. I began caring for Angel and Geisha, my first two cats. Last but not least, Dogs... Cream was a white Pittie, whose owner, again, became unable to care for her so she lived with me and my 2 year old daughter at the time, and they loved each other dearly. After, finding Cream a permanent home, I had the honor of caring for other dogs for friends and neighbors even the homeless, from which I cared for Lulu, a pittie, living with her owner on the street. However, she received a healthy diet, vet care and patience, training to reverse some of the habits she developed living on the street. Now, although, I've cared for others such as Bamboo, the Pitbull, that seemed to take care of himself, lol and Karma, who needed a foster during the Covid pandemic; I'm entrusted with the care of my Pittie/German-Sheppard Gran-pet baby, Nasir aka Nas, while my daughter's in college. Nice enough, I still get to switch it up and care for the Cats (and small pets) of various friends and neighbors in my community. With that, I try o create a Pet-care Staycation like atmosphere when boarding or Home care while pet-parents are away and a Family like atmosphere for Fosters. I look forward to meeting your furry friends and four legged family members :) Pet care is not only therapeutic, it fits into my schedule perfectly, since I am a semi-retired administrative professional who suffered an untimely stroke at a young age. However. after an almost miraculous recovery, I'd like to move forward in a direction that nurtures my empathetic personality. Therein, leaving the desk behind, affording me with a more active lifestyle, all year round. As to that, my days generally consist of assisting my daughter with her dog, exercise, personal errands and volunteering a few hours a week. Although, I take pet care jobs occasionally, I'd like to "officially"extend my services to do something I love (I believe I'm good at it.) and rewarding because the pets (my clients) always seem to appreciate it. I have a fenced in yard and super friendly and silly, one year old fur gran-baby that would be happy to show a visiting canine "the ropes", lol. I can also crate and/or crate train your dog(s), when necessary. They will always have access to clean water; be walked consistently and fed on time and kept in a clean an organized space, whether at your home or mine. I make sure to follow pet parents care instructions. I send photos or video of fun moments to give insight as to how your pets are doing and cared for. I play, pet and communicate with each pet in their way to build trust, friendship and joy while their pet parents are away. In addition, I have had some dog training in the recent past and will have more dog training in the near future to help me care for our hairy pals compassionately and efficiently. [NOTE to Drop-in Clients: Please understand, Safety is a concern for Everyone; pet care givers, pet parents and pets. I work on a basis of professional Trust between all parties, including the pet party. All I can offer are my Referrals, my Word as a trusted professional and a background check conducted by Rover. I expect the same appropriate professionalism, trustworthiness and mutual respect from those who accept my Services. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.] I look forward to working with you. ;-)

About: We recently lost our 13 yr old american bulldog / hound mix and while mom (Lisa) isn't ready to have a new FT family member just yet, my son and I would be so excited to have fun with and love your pet as our own while you are away. We have a fenced-in back yard, lots of toys and a comfy dog bed - though of course you are welcome to bring your own gear, if it makes your pet feel more comfortable and at home. Typically only board 1 family at a time. I am self-employed and work from home so am available to give your pet all the attention it deserves, take for walks and potty breaks as needed. We have a fenced yard and I have experience with senior dogs where extra care, love and medication may be needed, and am totally fine with larger dogs as well.

My schedule is very flexible as I can work from home and offer a very accommodating schedule to anyone that chooses to book their loving pet with me. I live in a townhouse with 3 floors, which means your dog or cat will have no problem running around the house freely as they want to. (It truly is a workout) I also live nearby a reservation with hiking trails and lots of outdoor space.

About: I have loved dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. I now have a Pomeranian-Pug mix and an orange Tabby cat. They are so important to me and I love watching them grow and continue to learn. My husband and I try to keep them active and youthful. I am currently a stay-at-home mom so I have a lot of flexibility. I am available during the day to visit your pets in your home. I am also available for boarding in my home. Whether I am watching the animals at my home or yours, I will make sure to closely follow your instructions. You know your pets the best and I respect your pet, your family, and your home. I will treat them how I would want someone to treat my own animals.

I have watched family members and neighbors dogs many times before. Im currently working part time and looking for something productive to do while I am not working. I saw rover and thought this is perfect. I have a big yard for dogs, I go on lots of walks daily and I have four amazing fur babies of my own !
