About: Hi my name is Evie! I have a lot of experience working with animals. I have worked with animals in a shelter as well as in a daycare and boarding environment. I am experienced in giving medication. I am also comfortable caring for animals who may have behavior challenges. My priority is making sure your pet is well take care of and receives enrichment! Im currently a college student so I am available part time! I have the most availability in the early morning and late afternoon. My availability is very flexible As someone who has animals at home and works in a professional caretaking job, I am able to handle many different environments and situations. I typically take a calm approach to taking care of animals. I always make sure the pet is comfortable with me. I am also very attentive and observant towards the pets behavior.

I had my own dog for almost 16 wonderful years, and she was truly a beloved part of my life. After she passed, I began fostering because I couldn’t imagine life without dogs. I’ve now fostered several dogs, each with their own needs, quirks, and snuggle preferences. I’m patient, attentive, and love helping dogs feel safe, loved, and comfortable — whether that means giving extra cuddles, creating calm routines, or simply being a reassuring presence. I’m also a very active person, so if your dog enjoys long walks or even going for runs, I’m happy to match their energy. High-energy pups are always welcome! My goal is to make your dog feel at home and give you complete peace of mind while you’re away. I’d love to meet your furry family member and care for them like my own. I work 100% remote so spend the majority of my day at home and would be with your furry friend. I am able to easily bake in walks and playtime during my workday to ensure they get the attention and exercise they need! We have a nice porch and a fenced in yard for your pup to enjoy time outside without worry. We also have a crate here for up to 70 lbs dog and can safely crate your pet to ensure they are comfortable and safe if left alone.

About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life. Dogs, cats, and even farm animals—and I have experience with everything from energetic puppies to seniors who need medication and gentle care. I fostered through the Richmond SPCA in college, which taught me patience, how to read different personalities, and how to help shy or nervous pets feel safe. I’ve also worked with professional trainers while raising my own dog, so I’m comfortable reinforcing basic commands, routines, and positive behavior. I’m active and love taking dogs on long walks and play sessions, but I also know how to slow things down for older pets or those who prefer a calm routine. What sets me apart is that I understand how stressful it can feel to leave your pet with someone new, and I focus on giving both you and your pet comfort while you’re apart—lots of love, clear communication, and updates that help you feel connected every step of the way. I live at home and work remotely, so I’m able to be with your pet throughout the day. This gives me the flexibility to stick to their routine, whether that means regular potty breaks, long walks, playtime, or just keeping them company so they never feel alone. Your pet won’t be waiting hours for attention, I’m around to give them consistent care and comfort. I live in a three bedroom home with plenty of space and a secure 6-ft fenced yard, with Ring cameras surrounding the property for added safety and peace of mind. My own dog is crate trained, friendly, and well-socialized—he loves to play but is gentle and respectful enough to give visiting dogs space when they need it. I can keep pets separate if preferred, and I have two bedrooms set up as little “pet hotels” so each dog has their own quiet, comfortable space to relax, sleep, or eat without stress. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I follow your routines closely, communicate often, and make sure every animal feels safe, understood, and treated like family.

Every pup in my care gets personal attention, plenty of love, and an environment where tails never stop wagging. Pet care is a big part of my daily life. With Doggy Adventures, I spend most of my day making sure every dog gets plenty of attention, exercise, and care. That being said, I usually have a lot of dogs in my care, and because of that and limited staff, I’m unable to accept dogs with severe anxiety or puppies who may need more one-on-one attention. However, feel free to reach out, and we can chat to see if it's a good fit! When caring for pets in my home or at a client’s home, I focus on creating a calm and safe environment where they feel comfortable and well taken care of. I follow any specific routines or requests you have to keep things consistent for your pet, from feeding and bathroom schedules to playtime and cuddle sessions.

About: My daughters complain that their fur babies are spoiled when I return them. (And, they keep asking me to take care of them despite this. ) I prefer it over the Day job, And find the company of pets so rewarding. If I could make pet care a full time job, I would. I welcome them in like guests. But, of course follow instructions given pertaining to their care. I have a soft crate and raised dog beds with covers that can be washed each visit.
