“I’m writing this recommendation for Clarissa, who has been our pet sitter for over 10 years. We travel extensively and consider ourselves very fortunate to have had Clarissa available to watch our home and our animals with no worries. We currently have 3 cats, (as one passed away last year), and she has taken extremely good care of our cats over this time period, along with other friends dogs and cats as well. Clarissa has seen our cats through difficult times of sickness and injury and is very knowledgeable and extremely caring and even able to administer medicines when needed. As (our bad) luck would have it, there was a medical emergency with one of our cats while we was hundreds of miles from home. Clarissa contacted me with the issue, coordinated all the care between taking her to an emergency veterinarian over the weekend, as well as our regular vet that Monday, while maintaining awesome care of the 3 other cats. She cares about our cats and not only engages with them in petting, playing, grooming, active playtimes for exercise and all out spoiling them, but also has good judgement to know when there might be a situation that would require veterinary care while we are away. She treats them as her own. Clarissa is also very responsible and reliable, always making her scheduled visits, even during the most extreme weather situations, so that we never have to worry about our cats when we are away on travel. When our daughter lived at home, we also had rabbits, turtles, a rat, a gerbil, fish and a crawfish (maybe others) to take care of and she handled them all without fail! She has owned and fostered her own animals, even ones who come from abused backgrounds and with special needs. We would highly recommend Clarissa to anyone who is looking for a pet sitter and wants to have a kind, responsible and knowledgeable person to care of their pets, while they’re away whether for a day or a month or more! Plus, you will be able to now enjoy your time away without having to worry about your pets, as they are in safe and very capable hands. Unfortunately, Clarissa moved away from our area and you are now the fortunate recipients of an amazing pet and/or house sitter, who will treat your pets and home as if it were her own. We give or highest recommendation for utilizing her services!”

About: 23223 local! I have a 3yo Newfoundland named Bear. She’s done a great job training me on all things dog related. I work from home and am available for same day walks or in house visits. I work from home 9-5, so I’m very flexible in terms of last minute requests that are close to the downtown Richmond area. I am looking to specifically service walks/check in’s in the Church Hill/Downtown/Oakwood/Chimborazo/Union Hill area. With a fully fenced in backyard and an ultra friendly Newfoundland there is no shortage of fun. The backyard has a small pool for dogs to cool down in with lots of toys.

About: I’m an ICU nurse a few nights a week and looking for a few furry friends to love on all the other nights and days that I don’t work! I work night shift 3 nights a week on a rotating schedule and have 4 other nights and days available to hangout with your furry family members! I have the sweetest blue-tick coonhound girl named Millie. She’s 2 and a half old and I’ve loved getting to raise her and watch her grow since she was an 8wk old puppy. We’re always looking for friends to play with since she loves all other dogs! She loves to play and run around our fenced in back yard whenever I go with her. I always keep her in my line of vision especially when other dogs are around and I have will do the same with yours.
