About: I think a little backstory helps: every pet I have is a rescue! Whether from the streets, a shelter, or the "animal distribution network," I seem to be the person random animals flock to for help. My home includes two dogs (a senior Australian Shepherd/Pit/Chow mix and a 3-year-old Chiweenie mix), two rescued cats living in the lap of luxury, and a bearded dragon I saved from under a bush last year. My 5 babies all adore each other and love a giant cuddle party! I’ve been around dogs and cats since I was 6 years old in multi-pet households, so I’m comfortable with all ages, breeds, and life stages. My Approach to Care: - Patient & Animal-Led: I let pets guide our interactions and get comfortable with me at their own pace. - Enriching Walks: I completely believe in letting dogs take their time to get all their sniffs in, because walks are their time! - Full Service & Light Grooming: I’m happy to wipe paws/ears, brush coats, brush teeth, and handle any cleanups, accidents, or normal pet debris so your home stays fresh. Mostly, I just genuinely love spending time with animals and would be honored to care for yours! I currently have the entire summer off, so I am incredibly flexible schedule-wise (including weekends) and can work with you on timing and availability. I'm just happy to help! Animals set the pace in my care. Whether meeting a new dog or visiting a shy cat, I never force interactions. I read animal body language carefully, giving pets space to approach on their own timeline so they feel completely safe and secure in my presence. Safety First on Walks & Visits: - Enriching & Secure Walks: Dogs are kept securely on-leash at all times. Walks are centered around their comfort and sniffing enrichment, avoiding hot pavement during summer heat and maintaining safe distances from unfamiliar dogs or hazards. - In-Home Security: I am meticulous about home safety, ensuring doors, gates, and windows are completely secure before and after every visit. - Emergency Preparedness: Having rescued and cared for animals with special health needs (including senior pets and kittens recovering from illness), I am calm under pressure, observant of any subtle changes in behavior or health, and quick to act if an issue ever arises. I care for your home with the same respect I treat my own multi-pet household. During visits, I handle all feeding, fresh water resets, and litter box or accident cleanups without hesitation. I'm also happy to wipe muddy paws, sweep up scattered litter, or run a quick vacuum over high-traffic entryways so you always return home to happy pets and a fresh space.

About: i have had two dogs in my life, have pet sit large labradors before, and am a very patient caregiver. i work at a surgery center and am attentive and love giving personalized experiences. it is also pretty impossible for me to walk by a dog without saying hi or freaking out haha i work part time and have a flexible schedule. i am also used to warping my schedule around animal care and can make things work. dog-walking and stop-bys are probably best for my schedule but can make boarding work as well! I do not have any pets in my home currently, i have a fenced yard and large sized house with 4 other animal-loving friends.

I’ll follow your pet’s feeding schedule, potty routine, medication instructions (if needed), and any special care requests exactly as provided. “This review is overdue! We first booked Shellby a few months back on very short notice. It was a very last-minute request, and our usual walker/sitter was unavailable. I contacted Shellby and she got back to me very quickly. I was worried because I usually do a "meet and greet" any time we have a new sitter, but in this instance, it wasn't an option. Shelby was an excellent communicator leading up to her walking/feeding my dogs, and put my mind at ease. My dogs did great with her and the care they received was excellent. I've since rebooked Shellby and plan to do so again. I'm so glad I've found this great new dog walker. Definitely recommend her services!”

About: I have a 12 year old chihuahua. I’ve had her since she was 2 months old and she’s still with us. She’s now blind so there are adjustments we do to best suit her in our house. I take pride in my adaptability and desire to connect with each pet individually to meet their needs. Hi there, I’m currently a student at Cal State Fullerton. I work part time with the Boys and Girls club as a mentor Coach therefore my schedule is flexible. I really appreciate detailed information. About: I’ve been a veterinary assistant going on 8 years now. I am comfortable caring for senior pets, administering medications, including injections and I don’t mind exotics. I am currently working so i will be able to work around schedules and my classes are online for now so I can definitely plan my classes around your pets’ schedule. In general, I believe all living beings deserve to be treated with love and respect. Therefore, I will make sure their bowls are clean, they have clean water, access to comfort and safety checks before I leave.

About: I’ve cared for my own dog for the past year, and I’ve also pet‑sat for my family members’ dogs whenever they’ve needed help. Additionally, there is a spacious grassy area where they can freely run and play.

About: I’ve had three cats almost my entire life, and have watched friends’ and neighbors’ cats so I am well versed in making sure they have the care they need! This past year, I got a handful of dog sitting gigs including two hyper golden retrievers and a senior terrier. I’m currently a full time college student home from break looking for something to do to help pay for school! I have full availability open! I am a big rule follower! About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, and many different reptiles. My passion for animals have led me to many different jobs and places. I have been apart of the 4H club for many years now. I have worked with many different types of animals from special needs, behavior problems, special attention, and experience in giving medication from pills to shots.
