“We are visiting from out of town and needed a sitter last minute. We have two rescue dogs who are sweet dogs but don’t warm up to strangers quickly. After reading Zoe’s profile and knowing her exposure to dogs of many temperaments, we felt confident that she’d be a good sitter. She absolutely was. She responded promptly to the request, arrived on time, and sent an update with photo. We would definitely love to have her sit our pups again. If pups are happy, so are we!”

About: Howdy, Your dog will be our special guest. They will have the company of two small dogs who love other dogs to run and play with. We will go for walks. work on obedience commands, cuddle and pet, and lots of doggy play time. I live on a private road for quiet walks and am close to doggy parks and walking paths. Your dog can sleep in a crate, dog bed or on a bed. We have plenty of dog toys to keep them happy or he can bring a special toy. I find bringing a personal item you have worn but not washed, like a tee shirt or towel, will comfort your dog while you are away. You can call and talk to your pet by phone if you like. I will send photos to update you on all the doggy fun and naps. I am happy to meet any special needs or medication needs. Melissa

She has been great at following our instructions on how to care for our dogs and really paid attention to the details, which is important since one of our dogs requires meds. She also kept in touch with us and sent photos with each visit. One of our dogs would have gone home with her if given a choice!”

About: I am currently a student at New England Tech in the Veterinary Technician program. I’ve worked at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists as a technician assistant for a year now. I’ve owned dogs for as long as I can remember. I have raised puppies and said goodbye to them as seniors. I know how to give medications safely and correctly if needed. I know how to handle crazy puppies and couch potato seniors. I love all types of dogs equally and have a deep passion of working with them. I am currently a college student and working part time at an emergency animal hospital. I do have multiple hours in between classes and work on most days to take care of your pets. I also can do homework from anywhere so that makes my schedule more flexible. I wouldn’t be able to have animals come to my house because I do have animals of my own but I would be glad to go to your house and take care of your pets. I follow directions easily and ask questions if i’m not sure about something. Feeding and walking schedules are easy for me to follow no matter how complicated you might think it is. I can give medication as needed and I have many tricks up my sleeve to get them to take them without fear. I work at an emergency hospital so IF an emergency ever occurs I know exactly what to do and where to go.

She is caring, loving, and protective in the best way, to not only me and her son, but her wonderful husky and bunny bun. She has watched my boy Rugs a couple times in the past and he was always his normal happy healthy tail-wagging self when I picked him up.
