About: Safety first, my home has fences and gates to protect your love ones. If you work mid shift or over night and need somewhere for your four legged children to go while you work we have just the place for them. I love to play and cuddle with my dogs and would love the opportunity to have your love one stay with me in a loving home environment. I have watched the neighbors dog from time to time and had the care of my granddaughter who is a cat off and on for 2 years. I would rather leave my children (4 legged children) in a home setting if I had to travel away from home and they couldn't go with me. My husband loves animals too and since my husband isn’t working anymore one or the other of us is usually home all of the time. We have 2 four legged children that get along well with other dogs. We have a security system thru ADT. We also have motion cameras to keep an eye on your pets if we need to go out. Our back yard is fenced and well lite for when they are outside at night. We have outside the front door security camera, with night vision, 2way speak, warning. All our indoor cameras also , the same abilities. I am always willing to aloud, you’re family members “dogs and cats “,to sleep in bed with me, Donald. Will to give your family members, a bath or even hair brushing. I will give him or her love, all the time.
“Rielly was friendly and did a wonderful job updating me on how my fur baby was doing! Taking care of a 4 month old puppy is no easy task and she did amazing! She even bathed him and gave him a cute little bow tie! I will definitely use her services again!”

“Glenn was great! He was super flexible with pick up and drop off times, as well as last minute scheduling changes. His responses were very fast and he also provided ample pictures of my little guy during his stay.”

“Jennifer and Christian are amazing! My pup usually takes time to warm up to new people, but they made him feel comfortable right away and he was cuddling with them in no time. Loved getting updates and sweet photos throughout his stay!”

“We booked last minute and Adriana was super accommodating! She responded immediately to my late night request, and the next morning, we dropped our dog Ginger off, and she settled right in and had a great time while we did some touristy things around town. Adriana is great!!! Highly recommend.”
“Christina watched our two dogs Tony and Saige over Labor Day weekend. We live out of town but we dont mind making the drive because our dogs have such a great time when they stay there. They have their own vacation and are exhausted when they come home.. Christina is a diligent and caring dog sitter. Every day she sent us photos of our dogs playing with hers and having a wonderful time. She kept us up to date all weekend so I was never worried because I knew they were in capable hands. I'll definitely be a returning client of Christinas!”

About: Hi, I’m MJ, and dogs have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. I've cared for a variety of breeds and even some exotic animals, including a wild rabbit and an armadillo. I have a wealth of pet-sitting experience, and while living in the Lehigh Valley, I built a large clientele, earning 5-star reviews for the love and attention I gave to every pet in my care. My heart shattered when I lost Bella, my beloved 13-year-old Miniature Schnauzer, on 9/28/2024. Bella taught me more than I could ever imagine about caring for senior dogs. Through holistic methods and homemade nutrition, I extended her life and kept her healthy for 13 beautiful years. Bella needed special care, including gentle exercise, frequent bathroom breaks, a comfortable resting environment, and close monitoring of her health and behavior. I administered medications when necessary and worked hand-in-hand with her vet to ensure she had the best life possible. What sets me apart is the personal experience I gained from caring for Bella. I know how to tailor care for senior dogs, understanding the importance of mobility support, dietary restrictions, and health conditions. I always stay in close communication with pet owners to ensure I am meeting all of your dog’s specific needs. I pride myself on creating a safe, hazard-free, and chemical-free environment (aside from essential cleaning products in the bathroom and kitchen). Your dog will never come near harmful chemicals in my clean, cozy apartment, where they’re free to snuggle on the couch or bed. Also, I have plenty of experience feeding according to strict dietary instructions and administering oral medication as needed. Since Bella crossed the rainbow, my heart has been heavy, but the presence of other pets has helped me heal the sadness. I would love the opportunity to share my affection with your furry family member and care for them as if they were my own. Whether your dog is a playful puppy or a senior needing extra attention, I'll give them the same love and devotion I gave to Bella, with the hope that one day, I'll meet her again. We wanted to share a small update about our schedule. Recently, David’s work situation has changed, and he is no longer home full-time. While I still work outside the home and we continue to coordinate our part-time jobs on different days, there may now be occasional times when neither of us is home for short periods. That said, we’re always happy to talk through any questions you may have, and we’re committed to working with you to find a solution if needed. Pet care remains an important part of our daily routine, and your dog’s comfort, safety, and happiness continue to be our top priority. We truly appreciate your trust and are excited to keep welcoming your pets as part of our family. In our home, we provide a cozy, safe, and loving environment for your dog. While we don’t have a yard, we live in a quiet apartment complex with plenty of green areas for walks and outdoor play. We enjoy strolling around the peaceful neighborhood, ensuring your dog gets the exercise and fresh air they need. Rest assured, we always keep dogs on a leash to maintain their safety, and we carefully monitor their surroundings to avoid any potential hazards. Inside our home, your pet will have access to all the comforts they deserve—whether it’s relaxing on the couch or snuggling up on the bed. We take extra care to create a stress-free, hazard-free space where your dog can feel at ease. Our goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and happy.

“Annie was awsome, I had an emergency and needed a dog sitter in less that 24 hours. Annie responded to my e mail in approximately 20 minutes and took my Bella with very little notice. Thank you Annie you are the best.”

About: I have a Bachelors of Science in Animal Science from Michigan State University and previously work as a Receptionist for a Veterinary Hospital as I am familiar with companion animal health and nutrition, as well as first aid. I have a Miniature Australian Shepherd of my own that I enjoy staying active with through hiking and teaching her new tricks. I also own a horse and occasionally take care of the horses that are kept in the barn with him by feeding, turning in, blanketing, and cleaning stalls for them. I also enjoy cooking, writing, and lounging around watching Netflix. I have a lot of experience caring for dogs and cats of many different breeds and personalities from Rottweilers to Shitzu's. From Persians to domestic shorthairs. I have experience with exotics that range from chameleons to rabbits as well. You name it, I’ve probably cared for it! I currently work remote Monday-Friday. Dog walking and pet care would be a great way to break up the mundane part of the week and allow me to get out more. Although I have an unfenced yard for my Australian Shepherd, all dogs will be kept on a leash for potty breaks. They will also get a walk on my lunch break and plenty of toys to play with. If in your home I am sure to spend time with them and make sure they are secure and receive very little disruption to their normal routine.
“Wonderful people who took excellent care of my German shepherd while I was gone for the day. I grew up around here but live out of the area now, I came home for the weekend for an event and found them. I’m so happy I did. I will definitely be using them in the future. Communicative and very kind!”

We both work remotely and can provide supervision at all times. Your dog will be cared for by myself and my husband, Sohan. We both work remotely and would love to spend to spend time your pup! My main priority is to make sure your dog is comfortable and well cared for while under my care. I strive to make this process as easy as possible for you, as I know leaving your pup can be stressful! Don’t hesitate to let me know if there are any accommodations I can provide for your pup.

“Sarah took good care of my Apollo and Zeus while I was away for the day. Gave me an update and picture. They came home happy and exhausted from playing all day. Will book again! Thank you!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Exeter
We were able to book with Anna last minute after putting our other dog to sleep unexpectedly. She was incredibly accommodating and reassuring. Bandit is a nervous boy, and she handled him like a pro. I appreciate the support and reassurance that she was able to give us, and we will definitely be booking again!

This was our first time using Rover or leaving our dog in daycare--Glenn was wonderful in being responsive and ensuring that our older dog was comfortable and felt secure. We even got a photo of him confirming all was good. The most generous thing Glenn did was to meet us at our location -- a last moment change in plan due to challenges in traveling to his location. This extra effort, which we gladly paid for, made our experience 5 star++++.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Exeter commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
