About: I am an ANIMAL LOVER! My name is May Fredericks. I am 21 and a student at King’s College. I major in environmental science and strive to be a wildlife researcher or open a rescue center for animals. To me, animals are the ultimate example of unconditional love and teach us humans more lessons than we realize. That’s why caring for them means so much to me. I am a full time student at King’s college. Most days I have class from 11am - 2 pm. Tuesdays are my long days. I am in class from 12:30pm- 5 pm. But I’m available all day during weekends and holidays!! I have a fenced yard and my neighborhood is quiet, safe, and friendly. I don’t usually board pets in my home, but I am open to it.

About: I was raised around all kinds of animals, and have cared for cats, dogs, snakes, and rabbits. I love them all unconditionally and believe they should be raised to know full bellies, warm cozy nights, and endless love. I have experience working as a groomers assistant and a kennel attendant professionally for about 3 years as well, so I know how to handle special needs ranging from anxiety to aggression. I also understand what it's like to be tight on funds, and the need to budget tightly in order to properly care for your furry friends! If my Rover prices are too high for your budget, shoot me a message and I can help you stay in your range! I'm flexible, especially since all pets are different and require different amounts of work! I'm currently transitioning into working a typical full time job, so my once very wide open schedule has slimmed down a lot. I can best typically do check ins and walks in the early morning and in the evening. I'm assuming that I'll be doing a typical 9 to 5, so anything before 9am or after 5pm is within reach for me to make sure your pets are well cared for and loved while you're away. ❤️ You can reach out to me with any schedule questions and I can try to work something out with you! I always do my very best to be as gentle as possible with all pets! I tend to avoid using "alpha" proving tactics unless it is necessary for my or your pets safety (ex. scruffing, using chokers tightly, using the shock option over the buzz option on an electric collar). I see these options as only being necessary when the pet is acceptionally aggressive and may hurt myself, itself, or others. I'm also very cautious around doors as I know many pets would take the opportunity to bolt it into the street if they could. I can handle bruises and scratches well from excited pets! I'm usually always covered in them from my own fur babies.

About: There has always been a pet in my home from when I was a child up until 2019 when my Boston Terrier Brady passed. To fill the void, I volunteer my time at Griffin Pond Animal Shelter, dog walking 2-3 days a week. I have also pet sat for friends and visit with the dogs in my neighborhood. I work 2 days a week, so I have plenty of flexibility with walking and drop ins. I am currently working part - time and even with the dog walking at Griffin Pond Animal Shelter there would be no issue with scheduling. Mondays I am available after 3:30, Tuesdays I am not available till after 7pm, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday all day I would not be able to have your pet in my home, for I do not have a fenced in yard and it is not feasible at this time If I were chosen to watch your pet in your home, I would be mindful and respective of your rules and privacy. I do love dog walking to be out in the fresh air may it be cold or warm its invigorating for both I and the pet. I do not have a fear or intimidated by large dogs, for there are numerous strong and powerful pitbulls that I walk at Griffin Pond Animal Shelter, and they are just wonderful love bugs.

About: I have health care experience from my daily career and I've been taking care of all kinds of pets since I was a little girl. This includes several kitten rescues and rehoming. My little girl abby was a recue. Feeding, grooming, litter care needs, emotional support, love, time, and attention all go towards my cat at home on a daily basis. It's a labor of love. I would approach each clients needs with focus on respect, reliability, attention to details, and loving care towards each clients pet. I understand each clients needs will be individual.

About: I've been taking care of a handful of dogs for the last 5 years! Lived with a few different breeds, currently live with a havapoo and maltipoo! I have free time during the day to help out with your pets when you're busy! My part time job allows me ample time to care for my pets and yours! We have puppy pads for inside, and a nice backyard where we let our dogs out every day! A bunch of toys for them and food/water/treats as well!

About: I’ve owned countless animal over the years including fish, reptiles, frog, hamsters, rabbits, cats, and dogs. My neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, give medicine, bathe, and care for their pets. I’m a stay at home mom with an open and flexible schedule. My schedule allows me to follow your already established schedule for your pets while you are away. I’m currently unable to spend the night in your home. I am able to come to your home to provide uninterrupted care for your pets. I’m also able to watch your pets in my home. I have a fenced in back yard, 6ft vinyl privacy, for safe outside play. My family is also very active and able to provide multiple walks per day if that is what your pet like (weather pending for safety reasons).
