“Karen and Donald made my first experience on Rover the best it could have been. Not only were they initially quick to reply, but they were quick to set up a meet and greet within 24 hours. They helped me figure out the app to book easily and even gave me a discount for their services. Also, when I needed to cancel last minute, they were nice enough to not charge me. Hoagie loved his time with Karen and Donald and it was the highlight of his day. I couldn’t recommend these two walkers more!”
“Amanda is very good with our fur babies and very trustworthy. It has been a pleasure having her watch our babies and we will definitely call on her again. She comes highly recommended..”

About: I worked at a kennel for a few months, so I can handle multiple dogs at once. I have my own baby; He’s an older shit zu/ yorkie named Chewbacca. I enjoy helping wherever I can. I’m here for all the walks. I work part-time, so I am able to offer walks most days. My schedule is very flexible at work, so times will have to be discussed. We have one dog and two cats. They are allowed most places in the house. Affection is very big in this household. I try to take care of the animals health, with probiotics and correct food amounts.
“Jared and Karen are excellent with Wally. Wally already loves them and looks forward to his daily walks. Both Jared and Karen are huge animal lovers and it shows. I feel very comfortable with them walking Wally because I know they take great care of him.”

“Adam provided an outstanding care to my dog. He also feeded him and followed all instructions. I had an emergency and as a last minute request he immediately responded. Adam was very friendly with my dog after checking camaras inside and outside my home.”

About: Hi, I'm Robyn, a lifelong animal lover with over 10 years of trusted experience caring for dogs & cats of all breeds, ages, and personalities. I've grown up with a variety of animals my entire life (cats, dogs, guinea pigs, turtles, mice). For the past decade, I've been the go to pet sitter and dog walker for family and friends. Whether it’s high energy pups or senior cats who just want some company, I treat every pet like my own with patience, love, and attention to their unique needs. Before I was old enough to work, I spent time volunteering at a local animal shelter during my teen years. It gave me early hands on experience caring for animals with all kinds of personalities and needs, and helped shape my lifelong love and respect for animals. Right now, I share my home with a 5 year old beagle named Scout who I’ve raised since he was a puppy. Whether you're looking for reliable walks, drop ins, or overnight care, you can count on me to keep your pet safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I send regular updates and photos, and I always follow your care instructions to the letter. I can’t wait to meet your furry family member! As a stay at home mom, I'm home and active throughout the day, which allows me to easily fit pet care into my regular routine. I'm available for walks and visits from 9am-2pm during the week, and I have full day availability on Sunday. I'm used to planning my days around care and routines, so incorporating pet care feels like a natural fit. Whether it's a morning walk to start the day, a dinner time drop in, or extended weekend care, I make sure every pet gets the time, attention, and consistency they deserve. When caring for pets in their own home, I always follow the pet parent's instructions closely to ensure consistency and comfort for their pet. I'm very detail oriented and make sure routines, feeding, medications, and preferences are followed exactly as requested. I also let the pet guide the pace of our interactions whether that means playtime, cuddles, or simply being a calm, reassuring presence. My goal is to make them feel safe, respected, and as relaxed as possible while you're away
“Kim is amazing. She walked Major twice a day, half an hour each walk, regardless of rain or cold. So dedicated and saved me during my work trip when another sitter kept him isolated in a sunroom and made him so anxious. I will definitely use Kim again.”

About: I am an ANIMAL LOVER! My name is May Fredericks, I’m 22 and a student at King’s College preparing to begin grad school soon. I major in environmental science and chemistry, and I hope to become a scientific diver working with marine life or in wildlife rehabilitation. To me, animals are the ultimate example of unconditional love and teach us humans more lessons than we realize. That’s why caring for them means so much to me. I always do my absolute best to give pets the same love, patience, and attention they give us. I am a full time student, but I’m flexible and am willing to work around my class schedule. I can adjust my availability as needed. my ultimate goal is to make sure both pets and their owners feel comfortable, confident, and well cared for throughout the service. I follow the pet’s regular routines and any instructions provided by the owner including feeding, providing fresh water, exercise, playtime, administering medications if needed, cleaning up after pets, and ensuring they are safe and happy.
About: I have health care experience from my daily career and I've been taking care of all kinds of pets since I was a little girl. This includes several kitten rescues and rehoming. My little girl abby was a recue. Feeding, grooming, litter care needs, emotional support, love, time, and attention all go towards my cat at home on a daily basis. It's a labor of love. I would approach each clients needs with focus on respect, reliability, attention to details, and loving care towards each clients pet. I understand each clients needs will be individual.
About: I've been professionally caring for pets for over four years through my home-based pet sitting business, Yech's Pet Haven. I am also a licensed boarding facility, giving pet parents added peace of mind that their dogs are staying in a safe and compliant environment. During that time, I've cared for dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes, including puppies, seniors, and pets with special routines or medications. I have experience safely managing multiple dogs, supervising playtime, and making sure every pet receives the individual attention they deserve. Growing up surrounded by animals, including dogs, horses, and goats, has given me a lifelong understanding of animal behavior and care. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, low-stress environment where every pet feels right at home while you're away. Pet care is a big part of my daily routine. Since I run a home-based boarding facility, I am able to provide frequent attention, potty breaks, playtime, walks, and supervision throughout the day. I keep my boarding numbers small so each pet receives personalized care and plenty of one-on-one attention. My schedule is built around making sure every dog feels comfortable, safe, and cared for while their family is away. I provide a safe, calm, and loving home environment where pets can relax and feel comfortable. As a licensed boarding facility, I prioritize cleanliness, safety, and responsible pet care. I carefully manage introductions, supervise interactions, and separate pets during meals, rest time, or whenever needed. I follow each pet’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise needs, and individual preferences, so they feel right at home.

“We've got Kayla booked for a week of dog sitting. She came over to meet and walk my dogs prior to. The dogs liked her right away and my daughter as well. I think that says it all :-)”

“The sweetest person I've met and my pup loves he so much couldn't ask for a better person to watch him when I wasn't able to. Very attentive when feeding and walking him at the times needed. Will definitely use her again when needed.”

About: I have always enjoyed taking care of dogs. After recently adopting one, I am even more excited to take care of other dogs. Have experience with senior dogs and medication administration. Will ensure that your puppy has the best time! My schedule alternates based on the month, so I can time my pet care accordingly. I prefer having the pets over at my place but happy to sit at yours as well. I am usually never out of the house for more than 4 hours at a time. I have one medium sized lab mix who absolutely loves other dogs and provides lots of entertainment. I live in an apartment with quick access to two large dog parks so outside play time is guaranteed
About: I’ve taken care of and loved dogs for as long as I can remember! My favorite part of the day is seeing their tail wag! I am currently working part time with a very flexible schedule! Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I start and end my days by making sure pets are fed, exercised, and given plenty of attention. When at a clients home, I treat the space with respect and make sure to stick to the pets routine. I am willing to provide regular updates and pictures to make the owners feel as comfortable as possible!
About: I was raised around all kinds of animals, and have cared for cats, dogs, snakes, and rabbits. I love them all unconditionally and believe they should be raised to know full bellies, warm cozy nights, and endless love. I have experience working as a groomers assistant and a kennel attendant professionally for about 3 years as well, so I know how to handle special needs ranging from anxiety to aggression. I also understand what it's like to be tight on funds, and the need to budget tightly in order to properly care for your furry friends! If my Rover prices are too high for your budget, shoot me a message and I can help you stay in your range! I'm flexible, especially since all pets are different and require different amounts of work! I'm currently transitioning into working a typical full time job, so my once very wide open schedule has slimmed down a lot. I can best typically do check ins and walks in the early morning and in the evening. I'm assuming that I'll be doing a typical 9 to 5, so anything before 9am or after 5pm is within reach for me to make sure your pets are well cared for and loved while you're away. ❤️ You can reach out to me with any schedule questions and I can try to work something out with you! I always do my very best to be as gentle as possible with all pets! I tend to avoid using "alpha" proving tactics unless it is necessary for my or your pets safety (ex. scruffing, using chokers tightly, using the shock option over the buzz option on an electric collar). I see these options as only being necessary when the pet is acceptionally aggressive and may hurt myself, itself, or others. I'm also very cautious around doors as I know many pets would take the opportunity to bolt it into the street if they could. I can handle bruises and scratches well from excited pets! I'm usually always covered in them from my own fur babies.
About: I've been taking care of a handful of dogs for the last 5 years! Lived with a few different breeds, currently live with a havapoo and maltipoo! I have free time during the day to help out with your pets when you're busy! My part time job allows me ample time to care for my pets and yours! We have puppy pads for inside, and a nice backyard where we let our dogs out every day! A bunch of toys for them and food/water/treats as well!

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Laflin.

- 94% of walkers can help with special care needs

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
