“Can not say enough great things about our experience. Glenn was absolutely great with communication and you can clearly tell he knows how important our pets are to us. I will always check for his services first for anything my Maxie will need. Maxie stayed with him for a week and frankly, I think she’s disappointed to come home!”

“Cheyenne and her husband Mike were awesome they provided photos and videos to keep me updated on how my little Ares was doing and they have an amazing setup to accommodate all needs from a spacious fenced in yard and little kiddie pool so they can jump in and stay refreshed on a hot sunny day to all the toys and treats your pup could dream of! I enjoyed looking at the wall of happy pups they have sitted in the past and you can tell how much they spoil your dog! 💯 recommend them if they’re in your area and you’re looking for a great fun place for your fur friend to stay!”

“Adriana was great! We had to book at the last minute because we were traveling through and accidentally booked a hotel that didn’t allow pets. She was very accommodating. She sent us lots of photos of our dog during his stay. He clearly felt very comfortable at her house based on the photos. She is very friendly and her own dog is so sweet. If we ever need a dogsitter when traveling through Scranton again, we will definitely use Adriana.”

“Laura was great and sent updates throughout the day. I also had piece of mind knowing Laura's background and that Tamba was in good hands. I know he had a great time there too because he slept for the entire day after picking him up”

“5 Stars all the WAY EVERY SINGLE TIME! About: Lifelong Dog and Cat person, have always had pets and always will. I love all animals. My dog Hank was diagnosed with Glaucoma right before his 6th birthday; it was an adjustment getting used to a new routine of 3 different types of Eye-drops, every 8 hours. My friends and colleagues had often commented, "You're really good with animals." the💡idea became a recurring suggestion that I would enjoy offering temporary care to other people's Pets, similarly to how I lovingly care for any of my own animals. Often get asked why/how my dog Hank is so well behaved, mellow, and such a good dog. Is it the training? "Sure," of course. But most of it is quite simple: Hank is rarely left alone. He goes everywhere with me. He hikes about 5 miles every day. He doesn't overeat, or sit-around. He's active, gets exercise, and is socialized often with other people and pets. So when he meets a new person, it's not a first, it's his daily routine. If your work/life balance has you leaving your pet alone most days? I can help change your dog's daily routine - so when you come home from work? Your dog has had a full day of activities they enjoy, and are happy to see you (with less pent up energy) Available 7 days a week to care for your dogs or cats. Have flexibility to be able to adjust to a variety of tasks. Let's chat about what you need. Whether I'm stopping-in quickly to fill the water & food bowl, administering some mid-day medication, taking your dog outside for a brief walk, or picking up your pet at your place & taking it to their favorite park or nature center; even having your pet for a play-date at my house with our huge fenced in Yard, or doing a doggy slumber party at your home. I'm ready to keep your pet entertained, well cared for, well fed, up to date on all medications, and very well-loved while they're in my care. Relax knowing, i've checked ✔️ off that box representing the responsibility of your dog or cat, while you're working or vacationing.
“Chrisie was extremely friendly and kind from the Meet and Greet all the way through Westin’s stay. You can tell from the moment you meet her, she genuinely loves taking care of pets. She was knowledgeable, communicative and caring towards my pet as if he was her own. She sent me daily updates and pictures, I would highly recommend her! Thanks so much for being good to Westin, he’s happy to have met you and his new friends!”

About: I don't have much experience with dog care. My family briefly had a dog or two when we lived in Trinidad and Tobago for about 2 years. And my oldest brother briefly lived with a Husky. I've been surrounded by cats most of my life since I was about 15 years old and now I'm 42 years old. I plan on being the sole pet caregiver in my household for your pet(s) and I will treat your pet or dog like an extended part of the family. Whatever rules you wish for me to follow with your pet or dog I will follow and respect them. I have a deep compassion for animals and will treat your pet or dog with love and care. I'm currently a part-time home health aide or caregiver for my Autistic 14 year old son which takes place at our home. I have a family of 5 including three kids and I'm looking for a way to make extra income. We live with 4 cats who spend most of their time outdoors. We have a fenced up yard with plenty of room for your pet(s) to roam around in and play.
“Lennox always seems happy after his stays with Carissa and Judge and leaps out of the car as soon as we get to her house to see her and his best buddy! It’s comforting to know that he looks forward to the stays and feels comfortable going there - one less thing to worry about while traveling…..”

About: My caring personality along with my strong sense of responsibility, and attention to routines help pets feel secure while giving owners complete peace of mind. I'm flexible and dependable. My schedule allows availability for walks, feeding, day visits, exercise, companionship, overnight care; ensuring that your pets feel safe and loved. I left NYC after 25 years to care for my elderly mother who lived to be almost 95 years old. I will care for your pet with the love respect and care I gave her.
“If you want your pet to feel loved and safe, please book with Lynn. She was absolutely wonderful and took such great care of my naturally anxious dog. Haven had an absolute blast! Lynn and her family are kind and caring, and I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for pet care.”

About: I have 2 dogs and 2 cats of my own that I care for daily. I also care for my friends pets often and am excited to meet your pets and provide them the best care that they deserve. I am available all day on weekends and in the evenings every day. Some week days I am available more often. I am also available for overnights stays. I have a fenced in yard so would be able to have your pets in my home with no concern of them running off or anything like that. If I am caring for your pets in your home I will treat your home like my own, providing the best care.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
