“Karen and Donald made my first experience on Rover the best it could have been. Not only were they initially quick to reply, but they were quick to set up a meet and greet within 24 hours. They helped me figure out the app to book easily and even gave me a discount for their services. Also, when I needed to cancel last minute, they were nice enough to not charge me. Hoagie loved his time with Karen and Donald and it was the highlight of his day. I couldn’t recommend these two walkers more!”
“We've got Kayla booked for a week of dog sitting. She came over to meet and walk my dogs prior to. The dogs liked her right away and my daughter as well. I think that says it all :-)”

“I regret to note that I had sustained a foot injury a couple of weeks ago and was required to use a walking boot which rendered me unable to walk my two husky shepherd mix dogs. Fortunately, I had utilized Ryane's services previously and was impressed with her exceptional performance. She continues to deliver outstanding service. Although the dogs missed our daily routine, they consistently displayed enthusiasm upon her daily arrival at the door. They have developed a strong affection for her. Due to my temporary incapacitation, Ryane kindly assumed the responsibility of walking the dogs twice daily for a period of two weeks.”

“Amanda is very good with our fur babies and very trustworthy. It has been a pleasure having her watch our babies and we will definitely call on her again. She comes highly recommended..”

“Jared and Karen are excellent with Wally. Wally already loves them and looks forward to his daily walks. Both Jared and Karen are huge animal lovers and it shows. I feel very comfortable with them walking Wally because I know they take great care of him.”

About: Hello! My name is Baylor, and I've been surrounded by animals my entire life, growing up with both dogs and cats. For the past four years, I've worked as a veterinary technician, giving me extensive experience caring for animals and ensuring they stay happy, healthy, and safe. My veterinary background allows me to confidently administer medications, recognize changes in behavior, and provide attentive care for pets with special needs. In addition to my clinical experience, I've been pet sitting for many of my veterinary clients over the past few years. I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I am currently taking care of pets as my full-time job, allowing me to be very available and have widespread flexibility to fit your scheduling needs. I am able to care for your dog or cat in whichever way feels most comfortable for you, whether that is a puppy who needs training, walks, and crated time, or a senior cat that requires more frequent, attentive visits and a strict schedule of medication. Given my background, I am also happy to provide additional services such as baths, nail trimmings, and gland expressions when necessary.
About: I’ve had animals in my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up there’s always been at least 1 dog and cat in our home. My fiancé and I currently have two pups of our own, including one with epilepsy, so I’m comfortable with medications, special care, and making sure pets feel safe and loved. I’ve cared for animals of all ages, sizes, and personalities, and my goal is always to become your pet’s new best friend (with plenty of treats, walks, belly rubs, and a few silly conversations along the way). I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own and make sure they get all the love, attention, and care they deserve while you’re away! I work a hybrid schedule, so on the days my calendar shows I’m available, I’m working from home and have plenty of flexibility throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, playtime, meals, and lots of attention. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I treat them like they’re my own. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable, so I try to keep their normal routine as much as possible — same feeding schedule, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medications, and plenty of love and attention. In my home, pets become part of the family! I have two pups of my own, so I understand the importance of making sure everyone feels comfortable, supervised, and included. I’m happy to provide a calm environment with lots of playtime, cuddles, and attention. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping things familiar and stress-free. I follow your instructions closely, keep your pets on their usual schedule, send updates and pictures, and make sure you come home to happy, well-cared-for pets.
“She completely exceeded every expectation. She was incredibly caring, attentive, and genuinely took the time to make sure my dog felt loved and comfortable. After the walk, she stayed and spent extra time with my dog simply because she cared. Then I walked into my kitchen after an exhausting day of work and discovered she had washed my dishes—something I never expected and certainly never asked her to do. That simple act of kindness spoke volumes about the kind of person she is. In a world where people often do only what’s required, she went far beyond that. She is kind, hardworking, thoughtful, and has an incredible work ethic. It’s so refreshing to see a young person with this level of integrity, compassion, and initiative. She is truly one of a kind, I cannot recommend her highly enough. She didn’t just care for my dog—she left me believing there are still genuinely exceptional people out there.”

About: I've been professionally caring for pets for over four years through my home-based pet sitting business, Yech's Pet Haven. I am also a licensed boarding facility, giving pet parents added peace of mind that their dogs are staying in a safe and compliant environment. During that time, I've cared for dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes, including puppies, seniors, and pets with special routines or medications. I have experience safely managing multiple dogs, supervising playtime, and making sure every pet receives the individual attention they deserve. Growing up surrounded by animals, including dogs, horses, and goats, has given me a lifelong understanding of animal behavior and care. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, low-stress environment where every pet feels right at home while you're away. Pet care is a big part of my daily routine. Since I run a home-based boarding facility, I am able to provide frequent attention, potty breaks, playtime, walks, and supervision throughout the day. I keep my boarding numbers small so each pet receives personalized care and plenty of one-on-one attention. My schedule is built around making sure every dog feels comfortable, safe, and cared for while their family is away. I provide a safe, calm, and loving home environment where pets can relax and feel comfortable. As a licensed boarding facility, I prioritize cleanliness, safety, and responsible pet care. I carefully manage introductions, supervise interactions, and separate pets during meals, rest time, or whenever needed. I follow each pet’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise needs, and individual preferences, so they feel right at home.
“Kim was amazing with Milkshake! Not only did she respond quickly, but she fit us into her busy schedule last minute. Kim was kind and took such good care of my pup. She made sure that she got all of her energy out and was so easy to work with. 10 out of 10 will definitely book her again. Book her. You won’t be disappointed.”

About: I was raised around all kinds of animals, and have cared for cats, dogs, snakes, and rabbits. I love them all unconditionally and believe they should be raised to know full bellies, warm cozy nights, and endless love. I have experience working as a groomers assistant and a kennel attendant professionally for about 3 years as well, so I know how to handle special needs ranging from anxiety to aggression. I also understand what it's like to be tight on funds, and the need to budget tightly in order to properly care for your furry friends! If my Rover prices are too high for your budget, shoot me a message and I can help you stay in your range! I'm flexible, especially since all pets are different and require different amounts of work! I'm currently transitioning into working a typical full time job, so my once very wide open schedule has slimmed down a lot. I can best typically do check ins and walks in the early morning and in the evening. I'm assuming that I'll be doing a typical 9 to 5, so anything before 9am or after 5pm is within reach for me to make sure your pets are well cared for and loved while you're away. ❤️ You can reach out to me with any schedule questions and I can try to work something out with you! I always do my very best to be as gentle as possible with all pets! I tend to avoid using "alpha" proving tactics unless it is necessary for my or your pets safety (ex. scruffing, using chokers tightly, using the shock option over the buzz option on an electric collar). I see these options as only being necessary when the pet is acceptionally aggressive and may hurt myself, itself, or others. I'm also very cautious around doors as I know many pets would take the opportunity to bolt it into the street if they could. I can handle bruises and scratches well from excited pets! I'm usually always covered in them from my own fur babies.
About: I have taken care of dogs of every kind! I have grown up with dogs and cats ever since I was a kid. We always had around 3 or 4 dogs in the house while I was growing up. Big or small, old or young it doesn’t matter! I can accommodate to your pets needs such as pills/medications, eye or ear drops. I am not working a job at the moment so I will be able to take care of your animal at anytime of the day that is needed! I can accommodate to any of your pets needs I want them to feel comfortable! I pay attention to detail and will keep them safe.
“The sweetest person I've met and my pup loves he so much couldn't ask for a better person to watch him when I wasn't able to. Very attentive when feeding and walking him at the times needed. Will definitely use her again when needed.”

“Daniela was great with my dog Fetty. She came to meet her before I left on my trip so that Fetty knew her and was comfortable. I’m away a few times every year and Daniela will be my first choice to take care of Fetty.”

Looking forward to meeting you and your furry family soon! 🐶🐱💛 I have a Yorkie myself, and I also grew up with animals my whole life so it just comes natural to take care of animals on a daily. I have a daily routine, I believe it helps the animals when they are set in a routine .I am very energetic so I love to go to the dog park and go on walks and just play with them 😊 I have a Yorkie who is lovable and playful. I take her on daily walks and I would do the same for your fur baby. I will treat your fur baby just like my own with love affection and lots of attention 🫶🏻.I also have a crate if your animal needs to be crated.
“Shelby is great! I'm thankful we were able to connect. Things have been very hectic in our world and having someone we can trust walk our very bouncy 80lb puppy has been unbelievably helpful! Shelby asked some good questions about our pup before starting out and I trust her to take good care of Agnes while on their walks. Agnes comes back happy and sleepy everytime - it's a win for everyone!”

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Harding. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Harding.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
